국내 육성 스프레이 장미의 수출 상품성 향상과 농가보급 확대를 위하여 정아 제거시기(정아 직경, 3, 5,7mm) 및 묘종(접목묘와 삽목묘)에 따른 절화품질과 생산성을 조사한 결과, 적뢰시기에 따른 국내 육성 장미의본당 분화된 소화수와 수출 상품률은 ‘매직스칼렛’과 ‘옐로킹’의 경우 정아 직경이 5mm와 7mm시에 적뢰 처리구에서 우수하였으나, ‘모닝샤인’과 ‘리틀썬’은 적뢰시기간 차이가 없었다. 묘종에 따른 품종별 절화장은 ‘매직스칼렛’, ‘핑키’, ‘러블리핑크’ 및 ‘리틀썬’ 모두 삽목묘가접목묘보다 길었고, 줄기 굵기, 꽃목 길이와 굵기, 마디수 및 7매 소엽수는 접목묘가 삽목묘다 더 우수하였다.본당 소화수, 꽃잎수, 주당 발생 줄기수 및 수출 가능한상품 줄기수 역시 시험품종 모두 삽목묘보다 접목묘가 우수하였다.
The study was carried out to investigate theeffect of apical flower bud thinning time (flower bud diameter3, 5, and 7mm), and seedling type (rooted cutting or graftedplant onto Rosa multiflora cv ‘Hort. No. 1’) on the cut-flowerquality and productivity to promote export potential andalso extensively diffuse domestic bred spray rose cultivars.As a result of apical flower bud thining, the differentiatedfloret number on a stem was improved in ‘Magic Scarlet’and ‘Yellow King’, as an apical flower bud was thinnedafter growing 5~7mm (flower bud diameter). However‘Morning Shine’ and ‘Little Sun’ were not significantlydifferent among treatments. As consequence of investigatingcut flower quality and yield according to seedling type, in allcultivars (‘Magic Scarlet’, ‘Pinky’, ‘Lovely Pink’, and ‘LittleSun’) flower stem length was observed higher in plantspropagated by cutting than in grafted plants. However,flower stem diameter, spike length and diameter, nodenumber, and 7 leaflet number were higher in grafted plantsthan in those propagated by cuttings. The total floweringstem on a plant number of florets on a stem petal number,and exportable stems were superior in grafted plant ontorootstock compared with plants propagated through cuttings.
