국산 심비디움 꽃의 절화수명에 대한 보존용액의 효과 Effects of Preservatives on Vase Life of Cut Cymbidium Flowers Bred in Korea

본 연구는 국립원예특작과학원에서 육성한 국산 심비디움 17종의 절화 시 생체중과 수분 흡수량, 증산량, 수분균형을 통 해 절화수명을 조사하고 국내 경매시장에서 절화용으로 유명 한 국산 심비디움 ‘그린허니’및 ‘러블리스마일’을 통해 시중에 유통되고 있는 절화연장제 ‘Chrysal clear universal’과 ‘Floralife F300’, ‘eZDose’의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 실시하였다. 꽃의 주요 노화 증상으로는 설판변색과 갈변화, 위조 등이 있었다. 품종마다 절화수명은 달랐으며 ‘러블리스마일’과 ‘샤이니핑크’가 27일로 절화수명이 가장 길었다. 수명이 길수록 수분균형 이 0 flower・mL-1에 가깝게 유지되었다. 두 품종 모두 연장제 의 수명연장효과는 없었으나 ‘그린허니’의 경우 모든 처리구에 서 봉오리가 개화 후 조사 마지막일까지 높은 품질을 유지하 였다.

This study was conducted to determine vase life characteristics of the seventeen Cymbidium cultivars, which have been bred in NIHHS, Korea, by measuring fresh weight, solution uptake, transpiration, and water balance. In addition, effects of commercial preservatives ‘Chrysal clear universal’, ‘Floralife F300’, and ‘eZDose’ on postharvest quality of C. ‘Green Honey’ and C. ‘Lovely Smile’ cut flowers, which are popular in flower auctions in Korea, were investigated. Various senescence symptoms such as lip coloration, tip burn, wilting occurred in the most of cultivars. Vase life was different by each cultivar which were longest with 27 days in C. ‘Lovely smile’ and C. ‘Shin P ink’. Cut flowers with longer vase life retained their positive water balance longer. Although the vase life C. ‘Lovely smile’ and C. ‘Shin Pink’ was not prolonged by the preservative solutions, the postharvest quality of C. ‘Green Honey’ was maintained well during the vase life after the treatments.
