Abstract

Breakwater is one of the most important coastal structure in port. The principal function of a breakwater is obviously to prevent the penetration of incident waves into a harbor. Wave transmission effected by the shape of breakwater and many research carried out using numerical modeling, However hydraulic model experiment is rarely performed. Therefore in this study, hydraulic model experiment carried out to investigate wave height distribution characteristics by shape of breakwater head.
