Abstract

위그선은 수면 위를 1~150m 높이로 떠서 날아가는 선박으로 속력이 비행기와 유사한 시속 100~300km로 운항할 수 있다. 이러한 위그선의 고속 기동성과 특성을 이용하여 각종 해양보안사고 에 적극적으로 활용한다면, 한반도 주변 해역에서 발생하는 해양보안사고에 보다 신속하고 효과적으 로 대응할 수 있을 것으로 판단한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 위그선의 기동성과 특성에 기초한 해양 경찰 중심의 활용방안에 관하여 연구하였다.

WIG craft is a vessel which floats from 1m to 150m above the sea and is able to operate at the speed of 100~300km per hour which is similar to the speed of airplane. I f the fast mobility and good quality of this vessel is applyed actively to various oceanic security accidents, it is regarded that they can be coped with more swifty and more efficiently they occurs on the surroundings of the Korean peninsula. So this report is studyed on the practical plan based on the mobility and characteristics of WIG craft that is focused on the coast guard.
