Recently, it was a very interesting subject to reduce the weight of the parts in the whole industry. A number of manufacturers have tried to reduce the weight as making light material alloy like aluminium and magnesium alloys. Agitation system can maximize the density of melted metal alloy and improve the mechanical property. Ultrasonic agitation system is considered as the method of agitation for making aluminium alloy product.
In this study, I've designed the cooling unit of the ultrasonic agitation system. The design of the cooling unit was made through the analysis of the thermal behavior and thermal stress of the agitation system. The results of analysis showed that the cooling units must be applied to the agitation system. They also showed the flux of the cooling water and the effects of the cooling system.
