본 연구는 충남 예산군 오가면 오촌리(1,2리)를 대상으로 하는 옹기체험 농촌체험마을 계획에 관한 것이다. 한민족의 정서와 품성을 잘 나타내고 있는 우리의 고유한 민족문화 유산 중에서 대표적인 것으로 옹기를 꼽을 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 1970년대이후에는 플라스틱이나 스테인레스 등의 새로운 대체 용기가 개발․보급되는 한편, 급격히 주거 및 식생활 문화가 변화되면서점차 쇠락의 일로에 있는 형편이다. 대상지의 경우 현재 농촌의 낙후된 각종 시설과 노령화로 인해 마을의 인구가 점점감소하고 있어 마을주거환경개선 및 관광자원의 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 따라서 관광형태의 변화로 체험형 관광프로그램이늘고 있는 추세로 옹기를 주제로 한 체험 농촌마을을 계획하였다. 오촌리의 차별성 있는 농촌관광자원인 전통옹기를 이용하여테마형 농촌마을을 조성하고, 옹기를 이용한 참여형 프로그램을 개발하여 주민 소득증대에 기여하도록 계획하였다. 또한마을 주거환경 및 경관정비를 통하여 삶의 질이 높은 농촌마을로 계획을 하였다. 주요 계획내용으로는 에너지 자립형 농촌마을조성을 위하여 태양광을 도입하였으며, 축산분뇨 재처리시스템, 옹기체험센터, 도예 동호인 전원마을 등을 조성하여 특색 있는 테마마을로 계획하였다. 또한 마을 역사자원을 이용한 역사잇기 계획과 오촌리 유래찾기를 통하여 오촌리 마을의 전통성계승 및 홍보계획도 하였다. 이와 같은 오촌리가 옹기를 이용한 농촌체험마을 계획을 통해 주민들의 농외소득의 증대와정주환경개선, 관광농촌마을로서의 역할을 할 수 것이라 기대된다.
In this research, we designed a plan for making pottery as an activity for experiencing the cultural rural village in Ochon-Ri, Oga-Myeon, Yesan-Gun, Chungchungnam-Do. Pottery is considered representative of Korean cultural inheritances depicting the national atmosphere and characteristics. However, since new alternations such as plastic and stainless steeel have been developed and popularized, ceramics have been in decline due to the changes in residential and dietary life since the 1970s. This study site desperately seeks the development of tourism resources and an improvement in its residential environment because of a decreasing population due to the underdevelopment of infrastructure and an aging populace. Following the trends of increasing development in tourism, this making pottery in rural village program will contribute to improving the quality of life at the study site. Income for the residents will be generated by creating a theme village of traditional pottery, which is a distinctive rural amenity resource, and developing other programs in which resident participation will be needed. It is designed to be an excellent rural village through its improvement of the resident environment and rural landscape. Our design of the rural village includes the introduction of a solar power system for self-maintenance, a regeneration system for livestock waste, a pottery-experiencing center, and a rural village for ceramic artists as a distinctive theme village. Moreover, a connecting- the history program with historical resources and tracking the origin of Ochon-Ri are also contained. We expect that Ochon-Ri will benefit from the above designed plan by taking advantage of traditional pottery, which leads to an increase in income, improvements in the residential environment, and the creation of a tourist-friendly rural village.
