엘니뇨 및 라니냐와 우리 나라의 기온 및 강수량의 관계를 연구하였다. 엘니뇨와 라니냐의 영향 지역, 크기 및 기간을 확인할 수 있는 조화분석을 이용하여 월평균기온과 강수량을 대상으로 분석하였다. 각 관측소에 대하여 엘니뇨 및 라니냐의 24개월 기온 및 강수량 합성도로부터 1차 조화수를 구하고, 유사한 조화벡터를 갖은 지역을 확인하였다. 기온에 대한 엘니뇨와 라니냐의 영향은 우리 나라 전 지역에서 유의적으로 나타났다. 그러나 강수량에 대한 엘니뇨 및 라니
