본고는 현재의 漢字 字源 교육에서 찾을 수 있는 문제점을 확인하고, 또한 한자 자원 교육을 효과적으로 수행하기 위해 한자 자원 데이터베이스 구축 방안을 제 시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본고에서는 ‘美’와 ‘力’, 두 개의 한자를 대상으로 하여 한문 교과서와 한자 학습 서에서 제시한 자원 해설 내용을 검토하고 여기에서 찾을 수 있는 문제점을 확인 하였다. 그 결과, 현재 문자학계에서 대체적으로 인정되는 자원 해설을 따르는 경 우도 있었지만 그렇지 않은 경우도 있음을 볼 수 있었다. 즉 ‘美’의 자원 설명에서 현재 대체적으로 인정받는 해설인 ‘사람의 머리 위를 아름답게 장식한 것’을 제시 한 교과서나 학습서는 없었으며, 또 ‘力’의 자원 설명에서 ‘가래와 같은 농기구의 모양을 상형한 것’을 제시한 것은 몇 개 교과서에 불과하였다. 이상의 예를 통해, 한문 교과서와 한자 학습서가 여전히 학계의 일반적인 견해를 채택하지 않고 있 다는 문제점을 찾을 수 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 더 나아가 한자 자원 교수․학습을 효과적으로 진행하기 위해서는, 주요 문자학자들이 제시한 자원 설명의 내용을 수집하여 정리하고 또 이에 대한 현재 문자학계의 일반적인 견해를 요약하여 제시한 자료 를 구축하는 것이 필요할 것이다. 이러한 자료가 제작된다면, 한자 자원 교수․학 습 뿐 아니라 다방면의 한자 자원 연구에도 매우 유용하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 필요성에 따라, 본고에서는 다음과 같이 한자 자원 데이터베이스 구축 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, ‘한문 교육용 기초 한자 1,800자’를 대상으로 하여, 각 한자 자원에 대한 甲骨文․金文․小篆 등의 고문자 자형 및 주요 문자학 연구자들의 견해를 수집 하고 정리한다. 둘째, 수집하고 정리한 자원 해설을 국문으로 번역하여 제시한다. 이는 특히 한 자 자원 교수․학습에 편리하게 사용하기 위함이다. 셋째, 이상에서 정리하고 번역한 기존 학자들의 해설에 대해, 현재 문자학계의 연구 성과를 반영한 종합적인 의견을 제시한다. 즉 기존의 여러 해설 중에서 일반 적으로 인정되는 것이 무엇인지, 한자의 形․音․義 연구와 교육에 어떠한 부분 이 필요한지 등에 대한 의견을 제시하는 것이다. 넷째, 이상의 작업을 통해 얻어진 최종 성과물을 데이터베이스 형태로 구축한 다. 이는 한자 자원 연구 성과를 다방면에 효과적으로 활용하기 위함이다. 이상의 과정을 거쳐 완성될 자원 데이터베이스는 한자 자원에 대한 교수․학습, 한자학 각 분야의 연구, 經書 등 고문헌의 해석 등에 다양하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

本论文的目的是查看一下韩国的汉字字源教育的問題點, 并为了有效的进行汉字字源教育, 而提出了汉字字源数据库构筑方案｡ 本论文中以“美”和“力”两个汉字为对象, 探讨汉文教科书和汉字学习书中字源解说的内容, 找出其特征和问题｡结论是, 有些情况遵循了现在文字学界大体都支持的字源解说, 但也并非全都如此｡即, 对“美”的字源说明并没有发现有教科书或学习书按照现在大体都支持的解说—即, “美丽地装饰人的头顶”, 或者仅在几本教科书上将力的字源解说为“农具模样”｡虽然和以前相比, 书中出现毫无根据的字源解说的情况大大减少, 但是还存在一些不采纳学界的一般见解的问题｡要解决这些问题, 更进一步要有效的进行汉字字源的教育和学习, 需要收集整理主要文字学者们提出的字源说明的内容, 并且需要对现在文字学界的一般见解进行概括的资料｡ 如果有了这些资料, 不仅可以用于对汉字字源的研究, 还可以有效地用于对汉字字源的教育和学习｡由于有这个必要, 笔者现在想要构筑汉字资源数据库, 根据以下方法来进行研究｡首先, 以“韩国汉文教育用基础汉字1,800字”为对象, 收集整理了有关各个汉字字源的甲骨文․金文․小篆等古文字字形及主要文字学研究者的见解｡其次, 把收集整理的字源解说翻译成韩国语｡ 这是为了更方便地进行汉字字源的教育和学习｡第三, 关于上面整理翻译的之前的学者们的解说, 提出了反映现在文字学界的研究成果的综合意见｡第四, 通过上面的研究, 将得出的最终结果构建成数据库形态｡ 这是为了有效地利用汉字字源的研究成果｡通过上述过程构筑的字源数据库可以用于汉字字源教育和学习､ 汉字学各领域的研究､ 经书等古文献的解释等多个领域｡

This paper aims, looking into Korean education in the Chinese Etymological Origins, to propose devices for the Chinese Etymological Origins establishment for confirming features and problems in Korean education in the Chinese Etymological Origins and for effective performance of an education in the Chinese Etymological Origins. In this paper, centering around the two Chinese characters ‘mi(美)’ and ‘lyeok(力)’, the explanations of the Chinese Etymological Origins proposed from Chinese characters home-school materials were examined, and features and problems that could be found from such explanations were confirmed. As a result, sometimes there is a case in which characters explanations generally recognized in the academic world of characters are complied with, but not always. It can be seen that proposal of groundless characters explanations greatly reduced compared with the past, but there still exists a problem that general opinions of the academic world do not be adopted. To solve such a problem, and furthermore to effectively proceed with the Chinese Etymological Origins education, it would be necessary to collect and summarize contents of characters explanations proposed by main characters scholars and also to summarize and propose general opinions of the present characters academic world. Such materials created, they could be very usefully utilized in teaching & learning of the Chinese Etymological Origins as well as study of the Chinese Etymological Origins. According to such necessity, the author intends to build the Chinese Etymological Origins database, and to proceed with study in the following methods. First, with respect to the basic 1,800 characters for classical Chinese education, collect and summarize the types of ancient characters such as Oracle Characters(甲骨文), Bronze Characters(金文), Seal Characters(小篆), etc. in relation to each the Chinese Etymological Origins and opinions of main researchers of characters. Second, translate the collected and summarized the Chinese Etymological Origins explanations in Korean and propose them. This is for such translations being used conveniently for teaching & learning of the Chinese Etymological Origins. Third, with regard to the explanations of existing scholars, summarized and translated above, propose comprehensive opinions including study results of present academic world of characters. That is, an opinion is to be proposed of what a generally accepted opinion is among existing various explanations and what portion is needed in the study and education of the type and pronunciation of Chinese characters, etc. Fourth, establish the final results obtained through the above work in a database type. This is for study results of the Chinese Etymological Origins being effectively utilized.
