본 연구는 전문대학도서관 정보공유공간과 이용자를 대상으로 이용행태와 이용가치를 조사하여 향후 정보공유공간의 도입과 예산배정의 기초자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구결과, 정보공유공간에 대한 이용자들의 만족도를 대체로 높은 것으로 평가되었으며 조건부가치측정법(CVM)을 이용하여 정보공유공간의 주이용서비스에 대한 이용가치를 측정하였다. 도서관 예산대비 정보공유공간 주이용서비스의 BC ratio는 0.43으로 산출되었다.

This study is aimed at providing basic data for future introduction and budget allocation of Information Commons by investigating the use pattern and use value among users of Information Commons in college library. According to the study result, it was found that user's satisfaction for Information Commons was generally high. The study measured the use value of mainly used services at Information Commons using the contingent valuation method(CVM). The calculated BC ratio of mainly used services at Information Commons to library budget was 0.43.
