미래는 배움의 시대다. 가르침이 중요했던 시대는 가고 배움이 중요한 시대가 되었다. 배움은 창생하고 창설하며 연단하는 능력이다. 배움은 삶을 거듭나게 하고 개조하게 만드는 힘이다. 인간은 그런 배움의 본능을 지닌 개조의 동물이다. 창조와 창의의 시대에는 정보를 획득하는 것보다 정보를 잘 이용할 줄 알고 주변 환경으로부터 배우려는 배움의 정신이 필요하다. 이런 배움 정신이 충만한 인간이 바로 호모 에루디티오다. 호모 에루디티오는 어떤 특별한 인간이 아니다. 배움 본능을 지니고 태어난 모든 인간이 배우의 인간인 호모 에루디티오다. 인간은 언제 어디서든지 배운다. 삶의 일상이 배움의 환경이고 배움의 소재이며 배움의 연속이다. 학교라는 공간이 아니더라도 인간은 어느 곳에서나 배울 수 있다. 배움의 방법 또한 틀에 갇혀있지 않다. 대화를 통해 배울 수도 있고, 서로가 집단지성을 이용해 배울 수도 있으며, 걷기나 자기성찰, 명상을 통해서도 배울 수 있다. 미래교육에서는 이렇듯 배움의 주체와 장소와 방법을 통합한 배움 그 자체가 중요한 화두다.

It is coming the period of erudition. Teaching is not important anymore, we must learn to live in the near future. The erudition is ability of making lives, foundation and training. It is power of reformatting life. All humans are animals that have instinct of erudition and reformation. Using information well is more important than collecting data. Human needs erudition mind learning from everything around them. We must be Homo Eruditio to get erudition mind. Homo Eruditio is not a special human. We are all Homo Eruditio that has instinct of erudition. Human being can learn anytime, anywhere. Everyday life can be an environment of erudition, a material of erudition, endlessness of erudition. Methods of erudition are not stereotypical and will be very depending on asking how to learn. Human can learn something through conversation, collective intelligence, walking, self-examination and mediation, and soon.
