본 연구는 한국과 정치적, 사회·경제적, 문화적으로 깊은 연관을 지닌 베트남에 관해 학생들이 다양한 활동을 함으로써 미래지향적인 글로벌 시민의식을 함양하는 과정에 초점을 두고 연구를 진행하였다.
기 한국의 미래 사회를 짊어지고 갈 우리 청소년들이 한·베 간의 긍정적인 상호 관계를 이해하고 실천할 수 있는 인재가 될 수 있도록 지도하였다. 본 연구는, 먼저 베트남 및 한·베 관계 이해 활동, 다음으로 다양성과 상호 존중 이해 활동, 미래지향적 세계관 확립 활동, 나눔과 배려 실천 활동, 베트남어 교수·학습 활동으로 진행되었다. 학생들은 자기주도적인 조사·발표 활동들을 통해 한·베 관계 이해의 필요성을 스스로 인식하였고, 또한 미래지향적인 글로벌 시민의식을 함양할 수 있었다.

This study focuses on the process of developing students’ global citizenship by having them participating in a range of activities related to Vietnam, deeply associated with Korean history, culture, and economy. Based on the survey about Vietnam, yearly and monthly plans were carefully established and put into action for having students, who are in charge of the future, understand the positive relationship between Korea and Vietnam, and become a world leader. This study deals with understanding Korean-Vietnamese relations, cultural varieties and increasing mutual understanding, building a positive view on the world, sharing things and concerning others, and Vietnamese teaching and learning activities. Students realized the need to understand Korean-Vietnamese relations and developed global citizenship for the future by researching and presenting them by themselves.
