수형자의 전인교육이라함은 수형자가 사회적응에 필요한 지식습득,기술이나 기능개발, 인성개발, 체력단련 등을 말한다. 교정당국에서는 수형자들의 지식교 육을 위해서 초등, 중등, 고등학교 학력을 취득할 수 있게 학과교육을 실시하고 있다. 일부 교도소에서는 수형자들에게 전문대학 학력취득을 위한 과정이수의 기회를 주고 있다.교정당국은 수형자들의 컴퓨터 활용과 정보사회 적응을 위한 정보화 교육을 시켜주고 있다. 교정당국은 수형자들의 영어, 일본어, 중국어 등 의 외국어교육을 통해 수형자들의 자기개발 욕구를 성취하도록 지원한다. 교 정당국은 수형자들의 정서교육을 위해서 인성교육프로그램, 예능프로그램, 교도 소 아버지학교 등을 운영한다. 수형자들은 이런 프로그램을 통해서 자신의 정체 성을 이해하고 자기성찰한다. 수형자들은 인성교육을 통해서 다른 수형자나 가 족, 교정직원 등 타인과 좋은 관계형성방법과 사회적응하는 방법을 배운다. 수 형자들은 직업선택과 취업에 필요한 다양한 기능교육의 기회도 얻을 수 있다. 수형자들이 DiSC 행동유형을 이해하고 활용하면 자신의 정체성, 강점, 약점을 이해하고 진로 결정하는데 도움이 된다. 본 연구에서는 교정당국에서 제공하 는 수형자들의 전인교육의 다양한 접근방법을 소개했다. 또한 본 연구는 수형 자들의 자아정체성 파악, 기질에 맞는 적합한 진로상담지도와 관련하여 DiSC 행동모델의 적용을 간단히 서술하였다.

Whole person educational approaches for prisoners mean that prisoners get necessary education for knowledge, social skills, technical skills, and physical health to be adapted to the society. Correction Offices provide knowledge education for prisoners in order to get the diploma of elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school. Some correction offices give opportunities for prisoners to get associate bachelor degree of colleges. Correction offices also provide prisoners with educational opportunities of computer application and their adaptation of information society. Some correction offices offer language classes such as English, Japanese, and Chinese to prisoners so that they may achieve self-development needs.The offices run Prison-Father-School, Arts programs, and personality education to culture prisoners' emotion. Prisoners understand self-identity and examine themselves through these programs. Prisoners learn social adaption skills and human relationship skills through personality education. Prisoners can get various necessary vocational training and technological training for job selection and career development planning. If prisoners understand DiSC behavior model and make use of it, it is helpful for them to understand their identities, strengths and weaknesses and to decide their course in life. This study describes various whole person educational approaches for prisoners that the correction offices provide. This study also describes the applications of DiSC behavior model and its characteristics for prisoners to identify themselves, to select proper vocations base on their temperaments.
