충남농업기술원 예산국화시험장에서 스프레이국화 신품종 육성을 위하여 '투톤'을 모본으로 자연방임수분을 실시하여 '예스모닝'을 육성하였다. 이 품종의 주년재배 특성검정을 2003부터 2005년까지 3년 동안 조사하였다. '예스모닝'의 자연개화기는 10월 하순경이고 촉성 및 억제재배가 가능하다. '예스모닝'은 홑꽃이며 꽃잎은 꽃잎의 가장자리는 백색이고 안쪽은 자주색의 복색이며 화심은 진한 녹색이다. 꽃 직경은 4.4 cm이고 화심 폭은 1.3 cm이다. 착화
A new spray chrysanthemum (Dendranthema grandiflorum Ramat.) cultivar 'Yes Morning' was bred by open-pollination 'Two Tone'. This cultivar was tested on the characteristics from 2003 to 2005 for the evaluation and selection of traits including shading and retarding culture. The natural flowering time of 'Yes Morning' was late October, but year-round production is possible by shading or lighting culture. It has a single type flower with white and purple petals and bright green center. The diameters of flower and flower center are 4.4 and 1.3 cm, respectively. The number of petal was 19.5 and the formation of flower after short day treatment is about 7 weeks. It has resistance to white rust and showed the vase life of 17.2 days in autumn. The color of petals becomes whitish in high temperature condition.
