초록

Recently, the demand for seismic retrofitting has risen rapidly due to the increasing risk of collapse of existing reinforced concrete columns due to the subsequent occurrence of the Gyeon-gju earthquake and the Po-hang earthquake in Korea. In the existing seismic retrofitting method, there are many seismic retrofitting methods such as steel plate reinforcement, fiber reinforcement, and cross-sectional enlargement, but there is a need for an improved method in terms of workability, economic feasibility, durability and maintenance. Therefore, seismic strengthening method of rectangular shaped RC column using rapid fastening of steel bars on the outside of the column is proposed, and the seismic evaluation of the proposed method is investigated through experiments.
