This paper examined the concept of school ethics and related some to academic activities in Nigerian universities. The writer’s main concern was to draw attention to areas of ethical need in the universities. This was done by highlighting the code of conduct for staff and students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. The paper went further to examine the conditions and importance of complying with university ethical standards and implications of teachers’ unethical conducts toward students. It concluded with the benefits accruable to students when teachers in the university comply with the ethics of their work in all ramifications.
