순국 109주년, 의거 110주년을 맞이하는 민족의 영웅 안중근 의사의 애국정신을 기리고 민족에 대한 자긍심 고취 및 작품을 통한 소통과 공감을 불러일으키기에 안중근 포스터 전시는 매우 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 또한 안중근이라는 주제로 그 의미를 각자의 표현방식으로 제작한 포스터에 내포된 함의를 도출하고 유용한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 안중근과 아시아의 평화라는 주제로 진행된 전국 디자인 공모전이 올해로 4회째를 맞이하여 지난 3년간 수상작 포스터 495 편에 나타난 상징적 표현유형(메인/서브 비주얼 상징요소 및 표현유형, 메인/서브 카피 상징요소 및 표현유형, 컬러유형)을 내용분석 방법을 활용하여 분석하고 연도별 변화추이를 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 첫째, 비주얼 상징요소 및 표현유형에서는 손과 안중근 이미지 즉 인물로서의 상징성을 강조한 작품이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 상징요소를 포토그래피적 표현으로 사용한 비율이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났으나 시간이 흐를수록 일러스트레이션 표현도 점차 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 카피 상징요소 및 표현유형에서 카피 없이 비주얼 표현으로만 완성된 작품이 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 그 다음으로는 평화, 안중근(安重根) 순으로 많이 사용한 것으로 나타났다. 이들 카피는 명조형의 가로방향이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났는데 점차적으로 세로방향의 포스터가 증가하는 변화양상이었다. 마지막으로 컬러유형은 검정색, 흰색의 무채색 계열이 가장 높은 비율로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결론에는 연구결과의 요약 및 논의 그리고 본 연구의 한계점과 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

The exhibition of Ahn Jung-geun posters plays very important role in paying tribute to the patriotism of Ahn Jung-geun, a national hero, and acts to instill pride for the nation and induce communication and sympathy through the posters that commemorate the 109th anniversary of his martyrdom. In addition, this study aims to present the useful implications by deducing the connotations included in the posters produced under the theme of Ahn Jung-geun in the respective expressive formats of each artist. As such, this study examined the trend of changes in the symbolic expression elements illustrated in the 495 winning posters (main/sub visual symbolic elements and expression type, main/sub copied symbol elements, typography format, and color types) in each of the last three years by utilizing the contents analysis method as it is already the 4th anniversary of the National Open Design Competition held under the theme of peace of Ahn Jung-geun and Asia. The results of the analysis include the following. First, in terms of visual symbolic elements and expression types, there were many works that emphasized the hand and Ahn Jung-geun, that is, the symbolism as a character. In addition, although it was confirmed that there is a proportionately high number of works that used such symbolic elements through photographic expressions, it was found that the illustrated expressions gradually increased with the passage of time. Second, in terms of the copied symbolic elements and expression types, there were many works completed only with visual expressions without copying, followed by works that used copied elements such as peace and Ahn Jung-geun. Most of these copies used Ming-style fonts written horizontally. However, there was an incremental trend of using fonts written vertically.
