호서지역 청동기시대 전기에는 미사리ㆍ가락동ㆍ역삼동유형이 일정 기간 병존하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본고에서는 이러한 세 유형 간 접촉 형태를 분류하고 시간에 따른 문화접촉의 변천 및 전개 양 상을 살펴보았다. 유형 간 접촉 형태는 크게 A, B, C, D의 4가지 타입으로 구분할 수 있다. 우선 A 타입은 서로 다른 유형의 요소가 유물 단위에서 결합되어 나타나는 형태이다. 이와 달리 B타입은 특 정 유형의 취락 내 타 유형의 유물이 개별 기종으로 유입되는 경우이며, C타입은 타 유형의 주거 양 식이 유입되는 경우에 해당한다. 한편, A+B, A+C, B+C와 같이 복수의 접촉 타입이 조합되어 나타 나는 경우도 존재하는데, 이를 D타입으로 설정하였다. 문화접촉의 종류로는 교환, 이주, 전파가 있으며 호서지역 청동기시대 전기 세 유형 간 접촉 타입 도 이러한 틀에서 해석할 수 있다. B타입의 경우 도구의 교환, AㆍC타입은 타 유형 주민의 이주까지 도 상정 가능하다. 각 타입이 복수로 나타나는 D타입의 경우에 대해서는 보다 지속적인 접촉 또는 직 접적인 이주의 가능성을 생각해 볼 수 있다. 단계별 호서지역 청동기시대 전기 유형 간 문화접촉의 전 개상을 살펴보면, 우선 세 유형이 호서지역 내 유입되는 1단계부터 상호 간 교환ㆍ이주 등의 접촉이 나타난다. 2단계에는 가락동-역삼동유형 간 접촉이 증가하는 한편, 미사리유형은 쇠퇴하면서 주변 가락동유형 취락으로 유입되는 양상이 일부 관찰된다. 이후 3단계에는 미사리유형이 소멸하고 가락동 ㆍ역삼동유형도 쇠퇴하면서 전기 유형 간 접촉 흔적이 급격히 감소하는 모습을 볼 수 있다.

In the early Bronze Age period in the Hoseo area, it is known that the culture types of Misari, Garak-dong, and Yeoksam-dong coexisted for a certain period of time. In this paper, the cultural contact types between these three culture types were classified, and the changes of cultural contact over time were examined. Cultural contact types can be largely divided into four types: A, B, C, and D. First of all, type A is a form in which different culture elements are combined in the relic unit. Type B corresponds to the case which other culture type’s relics are flowed as individual model, and type C corresponds to the case which other culture type’s housing styles flow in. On the other hand, there are cases which multiple cultural contact types are combined, such as A+B, A+C, a nd B +C, a nd t his i s set a s D t ype. The types of cultural contact include exchange, migration, and diffusion. The types of cultural contact between the three culture types of the early Bronze Age in the Hoseo area can be interpreted in this framework. In the case of type B, tool exchange can be assumed, and in the cases of type A and C, even the migration of residents in other culture types can be assumed. For type D, each type appears in multiple, the possibility of more continuous contact or direct migration can be considered. Observing the development of cultural contact of the early Bronze Age in the Hoseo area by stage, first of all, contact such as exchange and migration appears from the first stage when the three culture types flow into the Hoseo area. In the second stage, as the contact between Garak-dong and Yeoksam-dong types increases, while the Misari type declines, some patterns of inflow into the surrounding villages of Garak-dong type are observed. After that, in the third stage, as the Misari type disappears and the Garak-dong and Yeoksam-dong types also decline, it can be seen that the contact traces between culture types of the early Bronze Age in the Hoseo area rapidly decrease.
