신문을 활용한 읽기-쓰기 교육 현황 -프랑스 파리7대학교 고급학습자 사례를 중심으로-

【벼리】프랑스에서 한국 문화와 한국어에 대한 관심이 늘고 있으며 학습자 또한 증가하고 있지만, 이러한 증가에 비해 프랑스 내에서의 한국어 교육에 대한 유용한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 본고에서는 파리 7대학교의 교육과정을 살펴보고, 실제 진행했던 시 사강독의 수업을 바탕으로 프랑스 고급 학습자들의 읽기-쓰기 수업에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 제한된 교과 수업을 벗어나 한국의 실제성을 보여주는 신문자료를 활용함으로써 나타나는 현황을 살펴보고 앞으로 신문을 활용한 한국어 교육 방안을 연구해 보고자 한다.

With rising interest in Korean language and culture among the French due to the Korean Wave, many French people wish to learn Korean. The rising interest has also increased the number of educational agencies teaching Korean, which offer major and liberal arts courses on Korean language and culture. There is, however, a shortage of researches on Korean education and teaching materials for Korean learners in Europe including France. In response to the increasing interest of the French in Korean culture and language and the rising number of French people learning Korean, there is a need for active efforts to do useful research on Korean education. This study examined the curriculums of University Paris Diderot - Paris 7 and its course on how to read current events. Making use of actual materials including the newspapers and audiovisual materials since 2014, the course has met the expectations of students and helped them increase their Korean skills through diverse content uses. Its shortage of writing education, however, had the students experience difficulties with writing after reading a newspaper article. The current curriculum offers composition lessons, but the absence of writing by the genres or the lack ofpractice has set limits for their writing in a critical viewpoint. It is thus needed tohelp them practice writing intensively by the genres instead of trying various types of writing during the composition lessons. Follow-up study needs to supplement the limitations of the present study and meet the needs of French learners in the uses of newspaper articles, parts of actual materials, thus proposing newspaper-based educational plans for Korean.
