천황산일대 산림유전자원보호구역의 산림 식생유형과 관속식물상을 파악하고자 2014년 2월부터 9월 까지 총 7차례에 걸쳐 조사를 실시하였다. 관속식물상은 91과 259속 408종 3아종 52변종 7품종 총 470분류군으로 조사되었다. 이 중 한국 특산식물은 총 14분류군, 산림청 지정 희귀식물은 17분류군이 다. 식물구계학적 특정식물종은 Ⅴ등급 2분류군, Ⅳ등급 4분류군, Ⅲ등급 13분류군, Ⅱ등급 22분류군, Ⅰ등급 21분류군 등 총 62분류군이 분포한다. 귀화식물은 22분류군으로 귀화율은 4.7%로 나타났다. 천 황산 산림유전자원보호구역의 45개소의 식생 자료를 구분한 결과, 식생유형은 1개군락군(당단풍나무군 락군), 2개 군락(신갈나무군락, 굴참나무군락), 4개 군(쇠물푸레나무군, 마가목군, 사람주나무군, 고로쇠 나무군), 2개 소군(병꽃나무소군, 억새소군)으로 총 5개의 유형으로 구분된다.
This study was carried out to investigate the types of forest vegetation and vascular plants in Mt. Cheonhwang Protected Area for Forest Genetic Resource Conservation. The survey was carried 7 times from February to September in 2014. Result of vascular plants revealed 470 taxa in total, comprising 91 families, 259 genera, 408 species, 3 subspecies, 52 varieties and 7 forms respectively. Among them, 14 taxa of Korean endemic plants and 17 taxa of Korean rare plants were investigated in addition to 62 taxa of specially designated plants announced by the Ministry of Environment. The naturalized plants were 22 taxa, therefore naturalized ratio was 4.7%. 45 plots were installed to vegetation survey and environmental features in Mt. Cheonhwang Protected Area for Forest Genetic Resource Conservation. As a result, forest vegetation type was classified into 1 community group(Acer pseudosieboldianum(Pax) Kom.), 2 communities(Quercus mongolica Fisch. ex Ledeb., Quercus variabilis Blume), 4 groups(Fraxinus sieboldiana Blume, Sorbus commixta Hedl., Sapium japonicum(Siebold & Zucc.) Pax & Hoffm., Acer pictum subsp. mono(Maxim.) Ohashi), and 2 subgroups(Weigela floride(Bunge) A.DC., Miscanthus sinensis var. purpurascens(Andersson) Rendle), 5 types in total.
