본 연구의 목적은 예비보육교사가 인식하는 보육실습 시 지도교사의 지지에 대하여 탐색해 보는 데 있다. 예비조사로 보육관련학과 전공 3학년에 재학 중인 60명을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 (focus group) 면담을 하였고, 그 중에서 6명을 선별하여 2회에 걸쳐 보육실습 기간 중 보육실 습 지도교사로부터의 지지받았던 경험에 대하여 연구를 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째 [외적 지지] 주제에서는 <모델링으로서의 지지>, <상담가로서의 지지>, <협력자로서의 지지>를 받은 것 으로 나타났다. 둘째, [내적 지지] 주제에서는 <정서적 지지>, <공감적 지지>를 받은 것으로 나타났다. 예비보육교사에게 명확한 피드백과 보다 성공적인 보육교사 양성을 하기 위해서는, 보육실습지도 메뉴얼에 보육실습교사의 기술적인 역량 뿐 아니라 보육실습생을 지지하는 것 에 대한 부분이 강조되어야 하며, 보육실습 지도교사의 지지에 관한 연구개발과 체계적인 프 로그램의 지원 및 보급이 필요하겠다. 본 연구는 보육실습 지도교사의 실습생에 대한 지지의 중요성을 조망하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to explore pre-service child care teacher's recognition of guidance teacher's support in child care practices. For the preliminary investigation, a focus group interview was conducted with 60 third year college students in the department related to child care. Six college students were selected as research participants. An in-depth interview was conducted on two occasions with the college students in terms of experiences of pre-service child care teachers supported by the guidance teacher during child care practices. The results of this study were as follows. First, as for the topic of external support, it was shown that the college students received support as a ‘Modeler’, ‘Counselor’, and ‘Collaborator’. Second, as for the topic of internal support, it was shown the college students received emotional support and empathic support. In order to provide clear feedback to pre-service child care teachers and to train more successful childcare teachers, the manuals for child care practice should emphasize not only the technical competence of pre-service child care teachers, but also the support for pre-service childcare teachers. It is necessary to support and disseminate R & D and support systematic programs on the support of pre-service child care teacher. In this research, the results are significant and provide a view to the importance of guidance teacher's support for pre-service child care teachers in a child care practice.
