서론 : 본 연구에서는 문헌고찰을 통해 4차 산업혁명의 주요 이슈 중 장애인의 독립생활을 지원하고 능동적으로 활동에 참여하는데 필수적인 기회요인을 도출하고, 그에 따른 작업치료사의 역할을 제시하고자 한다.
본론 : 4차 산업혁명의 혁신 기술 중 재활분야와 관련된 빅데이터, 인공지능, 3D 프린팅 기술, 가상현실, 로봇공학 분야 연구를 살펴보았다. 관련 연구들을 통해 장애인에게 기회가 될 요인으로 첫째, 스마트 보조공학기기, 둘째, 스마트워크와 새로운 일자리, 셋째, 장애인식의 변화를 제시하였다. 작업치료사로서 이러한 기회요인을 기반으로 한 보조공학전문가, 직업재활전문가, 장애인식개선 전문가로서의 역할을 수행해야 할 것이다.
결론 : 사회 여러 분야에서 4차 산업혁명으로 변화하는 환경과 요구에 적극적으로 대응해 가고 있다. 작업치료사도 급변 하는 환경 안에서 보조공학, 직업재활, 장애인식개선 분야에서 변화를 주도적으로 이끄는 재활치료 분야의 전문인력이 되어야 할 것이다.

Introduction : This study aims to derive opportunity factors necessary to support the independence of disabled people and their active participation in community activities, among the major issues of the 4th Industrial Revolution through a literature review and to present the role of a occupational therapist based on derived opportunity factors.
Main point : Among the innovative technologies of the 4th industrial revolution, I looked at big data, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, virtual reality, and robotics, related to occupational rehabilitation. This study suggests 3 opportunity factors via a literature review as follows; First, smart assistive technology devices, secondly, smart work and new jobs, and thirdly, a change in the perception of disability. Occupational therapists need to act assistive technology specialist, vocational rehabilitation specialists, and disability perception improvement specialists based on these opportunities.
Conclusion : Many sectors of society is actively responding to the changing environment and demands due to the 4th industrial revolution. Occupational therapists should also be experts in rehabilitation therapy to lead changes in the areas of assistive technology, vocational rehabilitation and disability awareness improvement within rapidly changing circumstances.
