세계 제2차 대전 이후 세계교회는 과거의 십자군적 선교를 반성하 고 십자가의 선교를 깨달으면서 ‘하나님의 선교’를 고백했다. 하나님의 선교는 개종과 교세확장이 아니라 예수가 선포한 ‘하나님 나라’의 확장 을 지향한다. 따라서 하나님과의 수직적인 관계뿐 아니라 세상과의 수평적인 관계를 모두 포괄하는 ‘통전적 선교’를 실천한다. 최근 들어 통전적 선교가 복음주의 진영에서 활발히 논의되고 있으며, 2010년 케이프타운 로잔3차대회는 이를 공식적으로 채택했다. 이것은 그동안 복음주의 선교대회를 통해 오랫동안 논의되어온 결과이다. 이를 위해 1974년 1차 로잔총회와 ‘로잔언약’, 1989년 2차 마닐라총회와 ‘마닐라 선언’ 그리고 2010년 3차 케이프타운총회와 ‘케이프타운서약’을 비롯 한 주요 선교대회와 문서를 살펴볼 것이다. 로잔의 통전적 선교는 하나님의 선교신학을 꾸준히 발전시켜온 학자들의 기여와 어려운 여건 속에서 굴하지 않고 예언자적인 도전을 해온 비서구교회와 지도자들의 노력의 결과이다.

This paper is a study of the holistic mission in Lausanne Movement. World War II had a great influence on the church. This also led world churches to confess “God’s mission”(Missio Dei) by reflecting on the past crusaders’ mission and realizing the mission of the cross. God’s mission is not for mission for conversion and churches’ expansion, but for the expansion of God’s kingdom proclaimed by Jesus Christ. This shows “holistic mission,” including both the relationship with God and with the world. In recent years, the holistic mission has been actively discussed and was officially adopted by the 3rd Lausanne Congress in 2010. Above all, the theological basis of the holistic mission is on God’s mission. And also it was founded on the contributions of scholars who have continuously developed mission theology and the efforts of non-Western churches and leaders.
