본 연구의 목적은 대학의 새로운 교과과정 분야인 ‘코칭’의 학문적 영역을 발전시키기 위하여 D대학에서 운영하는 ‘코칭리더십’ 교과과정을 2018년 2학기와 2019년 1학기 사이에 수강한 학생들이 D대학의 6대 역량과 관련하여 어떠한 변화가 있는지를 살펴보기 위함이다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 코칭리더십 과목을 수강한 학생들 중 D대학이 추구하는 6대 역량의 변화를 e-포트폴리오 시스템의 자기평가를 통하여 사전과 사후 결과를 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 6대 역량 중 대인관계 역량, 자기개발 및 관리 역량, 의사소통에서 가장 유의미한 차이를 나타났다. 하위역량의 차이를 살펴보면 대인관계 역량에서는 관계형성, 협력, 리더십에서, 자기개발 및 관리역량에서는 자기주도적 학습능력과 목표지향적 계획수립 및 실행력에서, 의사소통 역량에서는 듣기/말하기와 토론 및 조정에서, 글로벌 역량에서는 외국어구사 능력, 정보기술 활용 역량에서는 정보/확산/관리력에서, 창의융합 역량에서는 분석적 사고와 창의적 사고에서 유의미한 차이를 보여주었다. 또한 본 교과과정의 서술형 평가를 위해 총 61명의 내용을 분석한 결과, 코칭실습 과정에서의 관계형성, 자신과 타인에 대한 정체성 확립, 목표설정의 중요성 인식, 실생활에 미치는 영향력 등의 내용에서 코칭리더십의 교과과정이 의미가 있다고 밝혀졌다.

This study reviews the effectiveness of a coaching leadership course for college students who registered between the second semester of 2018 and the first semester of 2019. The six competency scales of D University’s e-portfolio system were used to measure the effectiveness of this course, which are interpersonal capacity, self-development and management capacity, communication capacity, global capacity, information technology utilization capacity, and creative convergence capacity. The results showed that the course was effective in interpersonal, self-development and management as well as communication capacity among the six competencies. When looking at the effectiveness in the sub-capacities, meaningful differences were shown in relationship, cooperation, and leadership for interpersonal capacity, self-directed learning and goal-oriented planning for self-development and management capacity, as well as listening/talking, discussion and coordination for communication capacity. Furthermore, a narrative evaluation of the students in the course was conducted, which showed that the coaching leadership curriculum was meaningful in terms of relationships in the coaching practice, establishing identity, recognizing the importance of setting goals, and its influence on their lives.
