The government is implementing a policy to expand eco-friendly energy as a power source. However, the output of new and renewable energy is not constant. It is difficult to stably adjust the power supply to the power demand in the power system. Therefore, the government predicts day-ahead the amount of renewable energy generation to cope with the output volatility caused by the expansion of renewable energy. It is a system that pays a settlement amount if it transitions within a certain error rate the next day. In this paper, Machine Learning was used to study the prediction of power generation within the error rate.

Recently, the demand for shape memory alloys in the biomedical industry is increasing. Nitinol alloy, which accounts for most of the shape memory alloy market, occupies most of the biomedical field. Nitinol for biomaterials requires a clean surface without sub-micron surface integrity and surface defects in order to be used more safely in a living body. Among them, new technologies such as polishing using MR fluid are being studied, but there is a disadvantage in that it takes a long time for processing due to a low material removal rate. In this study, material removal studies were conducted for effective polishing, and excellent polishing properties of MR fluid were confirmed.

A provision crane is installed on the stern deck of the ship to load or unload ship supplies. In this study, a ventilation hole capable of circulating internal flow was installed to reduce dew condensation by reducing the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the cylindrical column supporting the provision crane installed at the stern of the training ship. In order to reduce the temperature difference between the inside and the outside, an anti-sweat covering work was carried out by adding insulation material. By reducing dew condensation, we aim to improve the insulation of the electric motor installed inside the cylindrical column and improve the usability of the provision crane

디지털 트윈 기술의 도입은 소재/제품 개발 및 공정의 전주기 과정에서 보다 통합적이며 단절없는 디지털 가상화를 요구하고 있다. 이러한 요구는 미시적 반응, 표면 및 계면 현상을 아우르는 모델링 기법과 거시적 물리 모델 혹은 인공지능 모델의 광범위한 적용을 필요로 한다. 이는 다양한 환경조건에서 소재의 물성 데이터베이스와 미시적 현상 모사가 필요함을 의미하며, 분자동역학 시뮬레이션이 이를 달성하기 위하여 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 평형 및 비평형 분자 동역학 시뮬레이션 방법을 활용한 물성 계산 방법을 개괄하고, 열 및 기계적 물성등 주요 물성 계산 사례들을 검토하여 제시하였다. 본 논문은 분자 동역학 시뮬레이션을 활용한 물성 계산 프레임 워크 개발과 보다 정확하며 신뢰도 높은 계산 수행에 통찰을 제공할 것으로 기대 된다.

In this study, an experimental analysis of noise reduction in road traffic by applying the Micro Grooving technique to concrete highway pavements is explored. Initiated in 1984 to address the aging and damage issues observed in South Korea's concrete highways, Micro Grooving is known for creating fine grooves on the cement pavement surface to increase friction, prevent hydroplaning, and inhibit ice formation, while reducing vehicle friction noise by 3∼5dB(A). It is determined from noise measurement results that the application of the Micro Grooving method can be expected to reduce roadside noise and enhance the safety of drivers' driving experience.

Cars using diesel have always had problems with reducing exhaust fumes, and have been studied steadily in this regard. There were studies on the remanufacturing effect of DOC catalyst deactivated by diesel vehicle smoke reduction device, analysis of vehicle fire accident cases caused by damage to diesel vehicle smoke reduction device, and related studies on the remanufacturing effect of diesel vehicle smoke reduction device DPF. This study also developed a burner system in a smoke reduction device suitable for exhaust engines to completely burn smoke generated by institutions using diesel engines in low-temperature exhaust gases. Following the development of the existing high-performance heater, burner structure capable of maintaining ignition state in exhaust flow, pulsation generated by diesel engines, and exhaust flow control unit, the actual configuration, function and effect of the device, development contents, basic data and abnormalities of the vehicle, and comparison with other developed products.

In the modern society, the sports industry is becoming an important industry that plays an important role in cultural exchange and economic development between countries. Along with this, the size of sports equipment manufacturers is also increasing, and especially in the archery field, domestic companies occupy a high share in the global market. However, in the case of precision accessories, foreign products are imported and used. Among the precision archery accessories, the cushion plunger is subjected to repetitive loads, and the surface damage due to wear affects the accuracy of the archery, so fatigue and wear analysis taking this into account are required. In this paper, a friction simulation was performed to calculate the fatigue life and wear amount of the cushion plunger among the precision archery accessories, and the validity of the analysis model was evaluated by comparing the friction test results.

This study attempted to experimentally confirm the change in damping force for a prototype self-leveling damper with a pump rod and a leveling port applied with a new spiral flow path for small and medium-sized electric SUVs. The faster the excitation speed of the piston rod, the higher the damping force during compression and rebound and it can be seen that the graph shape appears in a similar pattern. Based on this, it can be used as basic data for additional characteristic tests such as temperature, sliding resistance, and operating sound test, etc.

In this study, data on indication errors within the range of 0 to 10 mm were measured using a dial gauge, which is widely used as a comparative measuring instrument in the field. Using Minitab, a statistical program, measurement conditions were determined during calibration of measuring instruments. Since the P value of the test statistic for the indication error is 0.000 to 0.003, the alternative hypothesis (H1) that no significant difference occurs due to a change in the measurement point at the significance level of 0.05 was adopted.

Along This paper deals with research on firearm barrel processing and aims to improve firearm performance, accuracy, and machinability. The barrel is one of the key parts of a firearm and has a direct impact on shaping the trajectory of ammunition. In particular, durability and reliability are required due to the enormous heat generated as the bullet passes through. In this study, experiments were conducted under the processing conditions used in barrel processing to identify and analyze the characteristics. Various technologies and methods were investigated and analyzed. To achieve this, the cutting force generated during conventional barrel processing was measured to determine the level of stress on the material. In addition, we determined the suitability of tools and cutting conditions used in metal processing to identify conditions that can maximize productivity. This paper is expected to contribute to improving firearm performance by suggesting a plan to optimize processing conditions to the firearms manufacturing industry. Additionally, it can be used as a reference for barrel processing by other researchers.

This study improved the work efficiency by supplementing the shortcomings of the manual process by developing a double tube feeding device, and the following results were obtained by conducting the production capacity, production length, and defect rate tests. Developed a double tube production system to enable the simultaneous production of two tubes, increasing the production volume by about 1.5 times. The product length has been improved from semi-automatic to automated, and the production capacity has been improved from 16 to 25 pieces per hour (based on 15m). Developed a double-tube input straight line automatic adjustment feeder, which resulted in reducing the defect rate to less than 1%.
