In this study, the multi-functional fishway with underground passage, sediment block system reflect the fish's ecological characteristics and many kinds of fish up and down easily is proposed. The 3D-analysis of Reinforced Concrete(R/C) Slab and R/C + Steel Concrete(S/C) Slab with rectangular underground passage are carried out by SAP 2000 software program about multi-functional fishway's durability. The Slab analysis results show that the R/C Slab type of the maximum stress is decreased by 27.8 than that of R/C + S/C type(Size:0.8m x 0.1m, Velocity: 1.6m/sec)and the shortage of shear is 31.9 than that of R/C + S/C type(Size:0.8m x 0.2m, Velocity: 1.6m/sec). The stability of R/C + S/C concrete slab with underground passage is more favorable than that of R/C concrete slab.

The purpose of this paper is to establish specifications and to make database for the construction of sea pools. Sea pools are faced with sea water including salts so it is used that high strength concrete, reinforced high strength and urethane for its construction. 3D-analysis by SAP2000 software is required for designing of sea pools in order to solved the problems regarding the degradation of the concrete durability.

This paper is the result of analysing the Building Register. It describes the ebb and flow about small-scale buildings for 5years. Major cities are rapidly decreasing small-scale buildings. On the other hands, Small and medium-sized cities are monotonic. Currently, All of the Korea buildings are occupied by small-scale buildings up to 82%. So, This researcher suggest that these buildings need to standardized design of structure for preparing earthquake and abnormal climate.

In this study, impact elastic-wave method was performed at the bottom surface of RC slab cut from an existing highway bridges to survey the horizontal cracks. Before measurements by impact elastic-wave method, impact response analysis was applied to determine optimal steel ball diameter, distance between impact point and receiving point of elastic-wave. Efficiency of analysis-aided impact elastic-wave method was confirmed by drilling and observing the interior of the RC slab by stick scanner. Evaluation results by this method agreed well with results of visual inspection. Thus, validity of the analysis-aided impact elastic-wave method on detection of horizontal cracks in RC slabs of highway bridges was demonstrated.

In this study, natural frequency of the tendon is measured using acceleration sensors. Estimation of the tendon tension is performed by using many types of solutions such as string theory equation, stiff string with clamped-clamped boundary conditions. The results are compared with the measured value of load cell data. As a result, stiff string equation with clamped-clamped boundary conditions is more accurate than the other methods.

This paper analyzed the damage type from completed shield TBM tunnels in case study. To identify damage type, the reports on field investigation and maintenance with 6 sites were performed an analysis. As results of the analysis, the various damage types were presented in completed shield TBM tunnels. However, completed shield TBM tunnels were expected to be available as permanent structure through regular maintenance.

In prestressed concrete (PSC) bridges, structural damage such as concrete cracks is related to the shift of the neutral axis due to the reduction in tendon forces. As such, monitoring the tendon force is important to maintain PSC bridges and prolong its remaining life. However, measuring the tendon force of PSC bridges in service is challenging. This study proposes a data fusion-based tendon force monitoring method using acceleration and strain responses. The proposed approach is validated using a PSC bridge model in the Pukyung National University.

A mobile application to support field survey on earthquake damage buildings and to shorten the surveying time. The results from the mobile are transmitted to a data managing program. And it displays a surveyed-place and result and suggests statics. This system is expected to support local governments to effectively responds to earthquake disaster.

Structure analysis and field instrumentation were carried out to understand the cause of crack taken place on a cover plate of a lower flange in plate-girder bridge. A cause of the crack turn out to be fatigue stress so that the bridge is in need of repair and reinforcement such as surface grinding, rewelding after gouging and reinforcement for a part of welding on a cover plate.

The purpose of this study is to measure the abnormal behavior of the bridge with LRB and to analyze the cause. Based on the result of analysis, the abnormal behavior was mainly due to the absence of pre-set process during replacement and the integrated behavior due to constriction of adjacent RAMP.

This paper aims at featuring dynamic characteristic of cable-stayed bridge by means of an artificial filter bank(AFB), for the purpose of effective acquirement of real-time valid dynamic(acceleration) responses. The AFB was embedded into a wireless sensing system. Also, through modal testings performed on a model of cable-stayed bridge, its dynamic characteristics were featured on natural frequency. They were evaluated in comparison to wired measurement responses and FE analysis. Finally, the dynamic wireless measurement system on the basis of AFB were found technologically and economically effective by obtaining valid dynamic(acceleration) responses whose size was compressed over the frequency range of interest.

Reinforced concrete structures are deteriorated in a few decades due to various causes, such as carbonation. Therefore it is important to evaluate the accurate carbonation depth in order to secure the durability of the structure. In this paper, carbonation depth by drilling excavation and splitting core sample are compared. Also, the procedure for estimating the appropriate repair zone is proposed, with the result of carbonation depth and steel bar detection.

The purpose of this study is to development inspection, diagnosis and utilizing manual for facilities such as bridges, tunnels, and buildings. For this, firstly, the classification system about inspection and diagnosis equipment was established and that was divided in accordance with the intended use(durability, safety, equipment, environment). based on this, the manual was developed including specification, performance of equipment and using, managing and controling for the inspection and diagnosis work.

The pupose of this study is to evaluate compressive strength of concrete applying to dynamic modulus of elasticity. Using the method of fundamental transverse and longitudinal resonant frequencies for concrete specimens, elastic modulus of concrete was measured and the relationship between compressive strength and dynamic modulus of elasticity was predicted.

In the case of Korea, the design flood is calculated to indirectly method using Clark unit Hydrograph. Therefore, to obtain the main outflow parameters of Clark is very important. When estimating the parameters, optimum parameter estimation is very difficult due to lack of observation. In this study, storage coefficient according to numerous rainfall event is calculated to applying similarity characteristics analysis of basin, uncertainty analysis of storage coefficient was performed.

In this study, the deterioration of railway track was determined each element facilities which have consisted in Track, track, roadbed, bridge and tunnel and were evaluated deterioration of railway track it using AHP and DEA methods. In compared to track defect factor that currently used method in conventional track line, was similar with AHP and DEA methods. It is determined that AHP and DEA method for track deterioration can be evaluated quantitatively the condition assessment of the track line.

Cracks in concrete structures should be measured periodically to assess potential problems in durability and serviceability. Conventional crack measurement problems in durability and serviceability. Conventional crack measurement systems depend on visual inspections and manual measurements of the crack features using microscope and crack gage. However, conventional methods take time as well as manpower, and lack quantitative objectivity resulted by inspector. In this study, crack width detection of concrete structures using image processing and present a hardware specification throughout the experiment.
