β-Ga2O3 has become the focus of considerable attention as an ultra-wide bandgap semiconductor following the successful development of bulk single crystals using the melt growth method. Accordingly, homoepitaxy studies, where the interface between the substrate and the epilayer is not problematic, have become mainstream and many results have been published. However, because the cost of homo-substrates is high, research is still mainly at the laboratory level and has not yet been scaled up to commercialization. To overcome this problem, many researchers are trying to grow high quality Ga2O3 epilayers on hetero-substrates. We used diluted SiH4 gas to control the doping concentration during the heteroepitaxial growth of β-Ga2O3 on c-plane sapphire using metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). Despite the high level of defect density inside the grown β-Ga2O3 epilayer due to the aggregation of random rotated domains, the carrier concentration could be controlled from 1 × 1019 to 1 × 1016 cm-3 by diluting the SiH4 gas concentration. This study indicates that β-Ga2O3 hetero-epitaxy has similar potential to homo-epitaxy and is expected to accelerate the commercialization of β-Ga2O3 applications with the advantage of low substrate cost.
We aimed to develop and analyze the effectiveness of a “Room of Errors” simulation program for educating nursing students in patient safety management. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental method (two group, before and after evaluation) and enrolled 35 nursing students as the participants. Data were collected using a self-reported questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics and the independent t-test and Mann-Whitney U test using SPSS/WIN Statistics version 25.0. Results: After completing the “Room of Errors” simulation program, the participants’ score of intention and confidence in performance for patient safety management in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group. Conclusion: A “Room of Errors” simulation education program for nursing students effectively increased the intention and confidence in performance of nursing students in patient safety management.
Purpose: This study aimed to development and test the effects of patient safety/infection control simulation program based on a brain-based learning framework for nursing students. Methods: This pilot study used a one group pre-post test design. The study was conducted in one university in Korea. Participants were recruited using a convenience sample. Fifteen nursing students participated in this study. Results: The levels of perception of importance of patient safety management (Z=3.41, p=.001), confidence on patient safety (Z=3.30, p=.001), attitude toward personal protective equipment (Z=3.10, p=.002), and efficacy of personal protective equipment (Z=3.35, p=.001) were significantly increased. Conclusion: The application of brain-based learning framework in nursing simulation could be an effective education for nursing students.
본 연구에서는 칡의 효율적인 제거 방법을 모색하기 위해 국내외의 사례를 비교하였다. 칡은 척박한 토지에서도 생장이 왕성한 특성을 가져 사면침식을 억제하는 식물로 이용되기도 하였다. 그러나 칡은 덩굴을 형성하여 조림목을 감고 올라가 생장하므로 심할 경우에는 조림목의 고사를 유발한다. 최근에는 생활권 수목에 대한 관심의 증가로 조경수에 대한 피해가 주목을 받고 있다. 칡은 물리적, 화학적 및 생물학적 방법으로 제거한다. 국내에서는 덩굴 및 주두부 제거 등 물리적 제거 방법과 제초제를 사용하는 화학적 방법을 주로 사용하고 국외에서는 화학적 방법에 주로 의존한다. 물리적 방법은 환경오염이 적은 이점이 있으나 상당한 노동력과 비용이 소요된다. 화학적 방법은 즉각적으로 제거 효과가 나타나지만 약제 사용에 의한 환경오염과 기상조건의 제약이 있다. 생물학적 방법은 화학적 방법의 환경오염을 해결하기 위해 개발되었으나 제거 효과가 느리게 나타나고 조림지에 적용 시 조림목과 하층식생에 미치는 영향에 대한 우려가 있다. 향후 고효율성을 담보하며 친환경적인 생력화 칡 제거 기술에 대한 연구와 적용이 필요하다.
목적 : 본 연구는 인지적 허약(cognitive frailty) 평가도구에 대한 동향을 살피고 특성을 비교하여 평가하 고자 하는 목적에 따라 적합한 평가도구를 선정할 수 있도록 정보를 제공하기 위함이다.
연구방법 : 인지적 허약에 대한 합의가 제공된 2013년 9월부터 2022년 6월까지 Web of Science, PubMed, Embase를 통해서 cognitive frailty OR ( cognitive impairment OR cognitive decline ) AND ( frailty OR frail ) AND ( measurement OR assessment OR screening OR evaluation )를 검색했고 최종적 으로 48개의 문헌이 수집되었다. 해당 문헌들은 PRISMA 2020을 통해서 체계적인 검토를 수행하였다.
결과 : 인지적 허약과 관련된 연구는 최근에 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있으며 아시아에서 연구를 많이 진행 하고 있다. 신체적 허약을 평가하는 도구로는 Fried frailty index가 63.27%로 가장 많이 사용되었고 그 다음으로 자가보고 설문지를 통한 5가지 항목 FRAIL 평가도구가 16.33%로 많이 이용되었다. 인지 기능을 평가하는 도구로는 MMSE가 42.31%, CDR이 17.31%, MoCA와 NCGG-FAT이 11.54%로 많 이 사용되었다.
결론 : 본 연구는 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 인지적 허약 평가도구들에 대해서 살펴보았다. 평가도구는 질 병을 조기에 진단하는 과정과 연구의 질적 측면에서 중요하다. 해당 연구는 앞으로의 임상 또는 연구에 서 대상자를 선정할 때 다양한 특성을 고려하여 적합한 평가 도구를 선택하는 것에 대한 정보를 제시해 줄 수 있다는 것에 의의가 있다.
목적 : 본 연구는 장애인들을 둘러싼 환경적 요인이 여가활동 참여에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다.
연구방법 : 본 연구는 2021년 10월부터 2021년 12월까지 전라도 지역의 장애인복지관을 이용하는 성인 장애인 128명을 대상으로 하였다. 환경적 요인 평가를 위해 물리적, 사회제도적 환경, 문화적 환경 척도를 사용하였고 여가참여정도척도 를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료에 대해 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다.
결과 : 30대~50대 장애인은 61세 이상의 장애인들에 비해 여가참여정도가 높게 나타났고 환경적 요인들 중 사회제도적 환경과 물리적 환경 순으로 여가활동 참여의 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 그리고 다중회귀분석 결과 사회제도적 환경만이 여가참여정도에 유일한 설명변수로 나타났다.
결론 : 장애인들의 여가활동 참여 확대를 위해서는 여러 환경적 요인 중 물리적 환경뿐만 아니라 사회제도적 환경에 초점 을 둔 거시적 접근이 필요하며 포괄적인 여가활동 참여 개선방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.
Purpose: Personal protective equipment (PPE) is critical for protecting healthcare workers from COVID-19 outbreaks. Therefore, this study examined the effects of a nursing simulation education program on PPE use for COVID-19 among nursing students. Methods: We employed a non-equivalent control group post-test design. The experimental group (n=38) engaged in a nursing simulation education program on PPE use. The control group (n=36) received PPE and the opportunity to participate in the same program after the intervention. Further, data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent t-test. Results: The experimental group showed significant differences in attitude toward PPE (t=3.21, p=.002) and efficacy of PPE use (t=9.92, p<.001), but not in the intention to care for patients with COVID-19 (t=0.95, p=.343). Conclusion: Nursing simulation education for PPE significantly improved attitude and increased self-efficacy toward PPE among nursing students. However, the intention to care for COVID-19 patients was not changed. Thus, it is necessary to find a way to improve the nursing intention toward COVID-19 patients.
본 연구에서는 가로수로 식재 한 메타세쿼이아 214본을 대상으로 시각적 활력 평가와 형성층전기저항계(JunsMeter) 측정 결과를 비교하였다. 시각적 활력 평가로 경북 예천군에서는 모든 활력 단계를 관찰하였고, 상주시에서는 ‘매우 양호’와 ‘양호’ 단계만 나타났다. JunsMeter의 측정 평균값은 예천(75.48)보다 상주(86.99)에서 높았다(P=0.01). 방위별 JunsMeter 측정에서는 예천군의 서쪽(71.29)에서 가장 낮았다. 예천과 상주에서 시각적 활력 평가로 구분한 3개 그룹과 JunsMeter 측정값과 일관되게 나타났다.
Purpose: This study examines the effects of clinical nursing simulation education program based on problem-based learning (S-PBL) on clinical reasoning, confidence in handover reports, confidence in nursing performance, and simulation effectiveness in nursing students. Method: We used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants were 4th-year university nursing students who had taken a core clinical nursing practice, and 90 students participated in the S-PBL program. Data were collected before and after the S-PBL program and analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-tests. Results: The S-PBL program significantly increased clinical reasoning, confidence in handover reports, and confidence in nursing performance. More than 90% of students were satisfied with the education program and the simulation education effectiveness was 2.54 on a 3-point Likert scale. Conclusion: The S-PBL program could be useful in clinical nursing education for nursing students seeking to become clinical nurses. It is necessary to develop various S-PBL programs and apply them to the curriculum.
본 연구에서는 생태모방적 관점에서 목질을 천공하는 송곳벌과 밑드리좀벌의 산란관의 형태적 특징을 비교하였다. 벌목에 속하는 송곳벌과 밑드리좀벌은 목질부를 천공하는 유사한 특징이 있으나 실체현미경, 전계방사형주 사전자현미경, 광학현미경을 이용하여 산란관의 형태적 특징을 관찰한 결과 두 종 간에 큰 차이를 보였다. 송곳벌의 산란관 말단은 등쪽과 배쪽에 모두 규칙적인 돌기가 발달하여, 회전형 드릴 비트와 흡사한 형태를 띤 반면 밑드리좀벌의 산란관 말단은 한쪽 방향에만 몇 개의 돌기가 있고 다른 부분은 매끄러워 마치 톱과 비슷한 형태를 보였다. 또한 얼룩송곳벌 산란관의 말단은 대칭적으로 4 등분으로 되어있다가 14번째 돌기를 지나면서 2 : 1 : 1의 비율로 3등분이 되는 반면, 밑드리좀벌 산란관의 말단은 2 : 1 : 1의 비율로 3등분되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 송곳벌의 산란관의 중간을 수평으로 자른 단면구조에 서는 dovetail joint의 구조가 확인되었으며, 이를 통해 천공을 위해 수직 운동을 한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러 한 두 종의 형태적 차이는 목질 부분을 먹이원으로 이용하는 송곳벌과 벌의 유충을 이용하는 밑드리좀벌의 생활방 식뿐만 아니라 계통분류학적 차이에 의해 기인한 것으로 사료된다. 끝으로, 산란관 말단 부분의 성분분석결과 두 종 모두에서 높은 강도의 특성을 부여하는 아연이 검출되었다. 이는 주로 목질을 천공하는 두 종의 생태적 적응 과정에 의하여 특이적으로 진화된 것으로 사료된다.
This study was conducted to find out the change in nutritional components and antioxidant activities of salted Chinese cabbage according to storage temperature and duration using supercooling. Salted Chinese cabbage was investigated every 2 weeks while it was stored at -2℃ and 2℃ for 8 weeks. This was followed by an analysis of freeze dried samples. The analyzed contents were free sugar and free amino acid contents, DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activity, and TPC and TFC. Free sugar content of salted Chinese cabbage decreased with longer storage duration, while free amino acid did not change significantly. DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities did not change significantly with storage duration whereas the TPC and TFC of salted Chinese cabbage stored at -2℃ was higher than that stored at 2℃ for 6 weeks. Therefore, the quality of salted Chinese cabbage was maintained in direct refrigerator storage for a long duration, showing economic and industrial values as a new storage technology.
The purpose of this study is to analyze consumer preference for fish farm HACCP certification using conjoint analysis. This study used raw flatfish product to evaluate the fish farm HACCP. In this study, 500 consumers were surveyed using panel survey and stratified sampling. In the recognition analysis, the farm HACCP certification system was found to be highly recognized by consumers. It can be seen that the brand assets accumulated by existing food and agricultural HACCP certification were transfered to the fish farm HACCP and absorbed. Consumers perceived fish farm HACCP certification as similar one with existing food and agricultural HACCP. Conjoint analysis evaluated three levels factors. The attributes and levels evaluated were : price(25,800 won, 28,400 won, 31,000 won), certification(fish farm HACCP, seafood traceability, and non certified), and origin(domestic, JEJU, and WANDO). The important levels were in order of price(40.8%), certification(30.2%) and origin(29.0%). We found that consumers give higher utility to fish farm HACCP certification compared with non certified and seafood traceability certification. Market simulation results showed that the fish farm HACCP product has 12%p higher market share than non certified products. Seafood traceability certification showed 4.6%p higher market share than non certified products.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences by comparing consumption tendency of the Flatfish and Salmon using focus group interview (FGI). The FGI was conducted on university students in their 20s, with a total of 38 respondents surveyed in seven focus groups.
Flatfish was recognized as a food in the form of popular sliced raw fish and had customer image that fit for middle-aged men in their 40s and 50s while eating with alcohol. 20s were perceived to be out of date with their age group as flatfish was considered old fish that did not match their age. In addition, they felt low accessibility to flatfish. Salmon was perceived by 20s as a food with a higher appeal than flatfish.
Salmon has been creating a brand identity in their 20s and 30s for fashionable and trendy food that appealed to younger generations. They considered characteristics of salmon high in intangible value, such as something sophisticated, trendy, and beautiful. 20s consumed various forms of salmon including salmon sushi, salmon bowl, and salmon fillet, and they perceived it as a psychologically close food that can be easily accessible.
In this study, the color of species (orange color of salmon), accessibility, restaurant image, and social media exposure were found to influence the consumption patterns of two species.
Aronia has low preference because of astringent and bitter taste. Appropriate processing is essential for eating aronia. For the processing of aronia, the aim of this study is to provide basic information on the cultivar and ripening stages. Three varieties (Viking, Nero and McKenzie) were studied. We divided the stages of maturity into four levels based on color. The physicochemical properties were analyzed. In the case of hardness, the first stage of maturity was the highest, and there was no difference between varieties. As maturation progressed, brightness and yellowness gradually decreased, and redness was highest at the second stage. The sugar content was the lowest in the Viking and significantly increased with the maturity stage. The acidity was highest in the Viking. Nero showed the highest radical scavenging ability. Total polyphenols and flavonoids were the highest in Nero. The highest level was shown at the first stage by the ripening stage.
비가열 살균 기술 중 하나인 광펄스 기술을 이용하여 후추에 존재하는 미생물의 사멸 효과를 원통형 처리 용기를 이용하여 검토하였다. 후추에 존재하는 미생물의 오염도는 일반세균은 약 2.0-4.0×106 CFU/g, Bacillus cereus는 약 3.0-5.0×103 CFU/g이었다. 펄스 수 5 pps, 광원과 처리용기 사이의 거리 4 cm의 동일한 조건에서 빛의 세기를 달리하여 처리하였을 경우 빛의 세기가 강할수록 사멸정도는 증가하였으며, 빛의 세기 1,000 V에서 흑후추의 경우 일반세 균은 0.55 log, B. cereus는 0.6 log, 백후추의 경우 일반세균은 0.7 log, B. cereus는 0.6 log의 사멸효과를 보였다. 펄스 수를 달리하였을 경우에는 펄스수가 증가할수록 높은 사멸율을 보였으며, 광원과 처리 용기사이의 거리에 따른 사멸효과를 거리가 짧을수록 사멸율은 증가하였다. 입자의 크기에 따른 사멸 효과는 입자의 크기가 클수록 살균효과 가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 후춧가루의 살균에 있어 광펄스 기술은 처리 조건에 따라 40-80%정도의 사멸율을 나타내어 후춧가루의 비가열 살균 기술로서의 적용 가능성을 볼 수 있었다.
This study investigated the effect of various freezing and thawing conditions on the quality characteristics of radish. White radish was blanched and cooled down to corresponding freezing temperatures of -20℃, -40℃ and -60℃ and, thereafter, the radish was finally frozen in a -20℃ refrigerator for 24 h. The frozen radish was thawed at 4℃, 25℃ and with running water, radio-frequency thawing machine. As quality parameters, pH, drip loss, hardness, color, and sensory evaluation were evaluated. No effect of freezing and thawing conditions on color, pH, and total bacterial count was observed for the samples. Samples that underwent immersion freezing (-60℃) had lower drip loss and higher hardness than samples in other freezing conditions. Sensory evaluation showed that color, hardness, and overall acceptability increased with a decrease in freezing temperature. These results indicate that the temperature of freezing affects the quality of radish.
