        이 연구에서는 35년 동안(1973~2007년)에 한반도 59개 관측소 자료를 사용하여 우기(6~9월)와 건기(10~이듬해 2월) 강수의 상반된 경향을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 두 기간 강수의 선형변화경향에 기반하여 양극화지수를 정의하고 그 지역적 특성을 분석하였다. 양극화 현상은 강수량과 강수일수의 선형변화 경향에 초점을 맞추어 분석하였으며, 지역에 따른 분류와 행정구역에 따른 분류를 통하여 지역별 특성을 분석하였다. 분석결과 우기에는 강수량과 강수일수가 모두 증가하는 경향을 보이는데 비해 건기의 경우 전라도와 경상도에서 강수량과 강수일수의 감소 경향이 잘 나타났다. 한편, 강수량의 양극화 현상을 분석한 결과 경상도와 전라도에서는 뚜렷하게 나타나는 반면 강수일수의 양극화 현상은 경기도와 경상도에서 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 경상도 지역이 다른 지역에 비해서 수자원 최대 활용에 상당한 어려움에 직면할 수 있음을 의미한다.

        본 연구에서는 35년 동안(1973~2007년) 한반도 9개 지역에 대한 집중호우의 빈도수 및 재해 피해액과 강수량의 관계를 분석하였다. 또한 각각의 지점에서 1년 중 가장 큰 강수량을 선택하여, 검벨 분포와 와이블 분포를 사용하여 극값의 분포를 살펴보았고, 극값의 재현주기를 분석하였다. 집중호우의 발생 빈도수 증가는 강원지역에서 1.75/35yr로 9개 지역 중 가장 크다. 관측된 최대 강수량은 인천지역에서 발생한 586.0mm/12hr으로 이 값의 재현주기는 서울ㆍ인천ㆍ경기 지역에서 256.3년에 1번 발생할 수 있는 강수량이다. 기상청의 호우주의보 기준값(80mm/12hr)은 대부분의 지역에서 1년에 1번 발생할 수 있는 강수량이고, 경보기준값 (120mm/12hr)은 지역에 따라 1.4~2.8년에 한번 발생할 수 있는 강수량이다.

        The floristic characteristics and ecological conservation measures for the plant resources of the Mt. KumJung(801m), Pusan, Korea were discussed. The field works was done for about twenty times in nine major areas from March, 1995 to Octover, 1996. The total number of vascular plants in this area were summarized as 103 families, 312 genera, 493 species and 564 kinds. The fourteen kinds of artificially planted, ten kinds of Korean endemics and twenty-nine kinds of Korean rare and endangered species in the area were revised and compiled in the list. The flora of the area were categorized into the South-coast part of the Korean Region, where the species such as Platycarya strobilacea, Quercus serrata, Eutya Japonica, Camellia japonica, Trachelospermum asiaticum var. intermedium, Quercus acutissima were roled as major floristic components in the Korean Region and endemized in the south-cosat part of Korea. The natural communities such as Pinus thunbergii Community, Quercus mongolica community, Carpinus laxiilora Community, Wistaria floribunda Community and swamp vegetation in Bukmun area as well as upland grassland at the summit of Kodangpong were represented for their floristic values in the area. The thirty kinds of medichinal plant, fifteen kinds of ornamental plants and thirteen kinds of edible plants are faced potentially in endangered from the outrageous collections by the local peoples. The action plan for the conservation management of the area which enables sustainable use by the local peoples must have established in the near feature.

        The flora of Mt. KumJung(801m) was investigated to compare the flora of Mt. Hwang-Ryung, Mt. Cheon-Hwang, Mt. Chuiseo. The vascular plants, collected from March 1995 to Oct., 1996, were consisted of a total 564 taxa; 103 families, 312 genera, 493 species, 1 subspecies, 66 varieties and 4 forms. The Korean endemic plants of this area were 11 taxa, the alpian and endangered plants were 29 taxa, the special wild plants designating by Environmental Agency were 2 taxa and the alpian plants were 18 taxa. Because many plants, being necessary to conserve, are distributed KumJung, but if development is indespensable, destruction of natural ecosystem must be minimized.

        The seasonal changes and composition of phytoplankton of the Choonsan reservior were studied from November 1990 to October 1991. 195 taxa which belong to 65 genera, 150 species, 40 varieties and 1 forms were identified. Species number during summer monthes was higher than that of other seasons. Standing crops of phytoplankton were varied from 7.8 × 10 exp (5) cells/ℓto 2.2 × 10 exp (6) cells/ℓ The dominant species were Cryptomonas erosa and Trachelomonas uolvocina. Chlorophyll a contents of phytoplankton was varied from 1.36 ㎍/ℓto 127.46 ㎍/ℓ. The biotic indices of phytoplankton were very similar among three sites. Saprobien-system by index of species diversity suggests that the Choonsan reservior belongs to the oligosaprophic.

        Phytoplankton flora of Chinyang Lake and Hapchun Lake were studied. A total of 161 species(Chinyang Lake, 135 species; Hapchun Lake, 80 species) were identified. The major species of two lakes were Melosira granulate var. angustissima and M. italica. As the bloom causing species, Microcystis aeruginosa, Ceratium hirundinella, and Peridinium sp. were identified. The chlorophyll a concentration of Chinyang Lake was higher than Hapchun Lake.

        This study was carried out to find the relationships between species pairs in the vegetation of eastern valley vegetation in Mt. KumJung from September 20, 1991 to October 15, 1992. Eight sites were selected, each being divided into 5 quadrats, and thus 40 quadrats were in total. To know the correlation among plant species the x^2 values were calculated by using the method of Yates, and the results were analyzed by cluster analysis according to Sneath and Sokal, and the following conclusions were obtained. The species examined can be subdivided into five groups according to the relationships. However, the relationships are not correlated with pH, water-content, maximum water holding capacity and mineral content of soil probably due to the environmental discontinuity.
