The coastal stow net (stow net hereafter) in Korea is one of the major fishing methods for yellow croaker (Larimichthys polyactis), ribbon fish (Trichiurus lepturus), and anchovy (Engraulis japonicus). In terms of energy efficiency, the stow net fishery is more competitive than towing fishing gears such as trawl gears. The fishing vessels in stow net fishery have consumed less fossil fuel and also have had less carbon dioxide emission into the atmosphere. however, the stow net fishery is necessary to be regulated due to its increased output of the fleet. Therefore, it is required for fisheries authorities to manage the fishing capacity or fishing power for the assurance of fishery’s sustainability. For fisheries management authorities, it is necessary to quantify data related to fishing capacity and fishing power to deploy fishery policy in a sustainable way. In terms of data for decision-making, Data envelopment analysis (DEA) method was conducted to estimate fishing capacity. Fishing power index (FPI) was also applied to calculate relative fishing power to approach the problem in a quantitative way.

광범위큰 B세포 림프종은 비호지킨림프종의 대표적인 아형으로 공격적 림프종이며 원발성으로 담낭에 발생한 림프 종은 일부 증례를 통한 보고가 있지만, 담낭에 단독 재발한 광범위큰 B세포 림프종은 국내에서 보고된 바가 없다. 본 증례는 상복부의 통증과 황달의 임상증상 및 복부컴퓨터단층 촬영 그리고 양전자 방출 단층촬영에서 만성 담낭염과 담낭 암으로 추정하여 수술 후 조직검사를 통해 재발한 광범위큰 B세포 림프종으로 진단할 수 있었다. 저자들은 과거 회장에 발생한 광범위큰 B세포 림프종으로 치료를 시행하여 완전완 화가 유도된 이후 다른 장기 혹은 림프절 전이 없이 단독으로 담낭에 재발한 광범위큰 B세포 림프종 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

근적외선 흡수 물질은 근적외선 이미징에 사용가능한 물질이며 최근에는 바이오 이미징, 유기태양전지 효율 향상을 목적으로 활용 범위가 확장되고 있다. 근적외선 흡수 물질은 π-conjugation system을 가지고 있으며 전자가 비편재화 되어 밴드갭이 작을수록 장가장 빛을 흡수한다. 주요 물질군으로는 유기 단분자 물질인 Polymethine, Phthalocyanine, Porphyrin 계 물질과 고분자인 Poly(thiophene), Poly(selenophene) 이 있으며, 유기 단분자 소재는 용매에 잘 녹으며 흡수 밴드가 Sharp 하고 고분자 소재는 용매에 잘 녹지 않으며 흡수 밴드가 Broad 한 특징이 있다. 최근 근적외선 응용 관련 분야의 대표적인 선도 연구로는 세포 이미징, 세포치료, 유기태양전지가 있다.

선행 차량과의 상대속도에 따른 차두거리 분포에 관한 연구를 위해 연속류 도로 중 국도에 설치된 차량검지기(VDS, Vehicle Detection System)의 교통정보 수집자료를 분석하였다. 수집자료를 차선별, 방향별로 정렬하여 선행 차량과 후행 차량 사이의 속도차이인 상대속도와 검지기 통과시간 및 차량의 속도를 이용하여 차두거리를 산출하였다. 모든 시간대를 대상으로 산출된 상대속도와 차두거리의 분석을 통해 두 변수간의 관계를 분석한 결과 고르게 분포하고 있는 것으로 나타났고 동일차량군 주행에서 차두거리의 중간값은 약 40m이며, 이는 자료구축 및 분석부분에서 언급한 A~D영역을 분류함에 있어 기준이 될 수 있었다. 시간대에 따른 차두거리 분포에 대한 분석을 위해 수집된 모든 자료의 교통량을 통해 첨두교통량을 산정하고 이를 기준으로 첨두시간과 비첨두시간을 분류하여 차두거리 분포의 차이를 분석하였다. 첨두시간은 비첨두시간에 비해 상대적으로 앞 차량과의 속도 차이가 적고 차두거리가 좁은 것으로 나타났기 때문에 선행차량과 같은 주행 패턴으로 추종한다고 할 수 있고 비첨두시간는 차두거리가 상대적으로 넓은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 운전자의 행태를 나타낼 수도 있는 것으로 차두거리가 좁을수록 공격적인 운전을 하며 본인의 총 통행시간을 줄이고자 하는 욕구가 크다고 미루어 짐작할 수 있겠다. 하지만 여가통행과 비첨두시간의 경우는 첨두시간에 비해 차두거리가 넓은 것으로 미루어보아 시간적 압박이 적어 상대적으로 여유로운 운전행태를 보인다고 할 수 있겠다.

Currently, environment-friendly and sustainable fisheries are one of the major issues among fisheries authorities. A variety of alternative management policies and projects are going on to enhance fisheries management systems and fishery resources such as a TAC management program and a VDS (Vessel Day Scheme) management scheme for distant water fishing nations in Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) convention area. These kinds of efforts among fisheries management authorities are aimed at limiting fishing capacity or fishing power. In terms of fisheries management, Fishing capacity and fishing power have increased the importance of the impact on a fishery and level of the resources. Increased fishing capacity and fishing power have caused not only depletion of fisheries resource, but also additional fishing cost. therefore, there is a clear need for authorities to manage fishing capacity and fishing power. It is also help ensure the conservation and sustainability of the fishery resources. Because of lack of data, absolute fishing power is difficulty to measure. The notion of relative fishing power is frequently used. In this study, relative fishing power was assessed using Mastuda (1991) method for fishing power index. The raw data for assessment was based on fishermen's logbook data from sampled fishing vessels in coastal snow crab gillnet fishery. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method was used to assess fishing capacity. DEA is a linear programming methodology to measure the efficiency of a set of entities called Decision-Making Units (DMUs). It was recommended by FAO for assessing capacity in fisheries.

본 연구는 이상적인 실험환경이 아닌 실제 일반국도(국도 3호선)를 분석 대상으로 실시간으로 수집된 교통자료와 NOx 대기 오염 측정 자료를 이용하여 이들 사이의 관계를 규명하고 그 특성을 분석하고자 한다. 또한 이러한 관계를 이용하여 현장에서 실제 적용이 가능하며 대기오염도를 모니터링을 할 수 있는 일반국도의 차량배출가스로 인한 NOx 대기오염도 추정 모형을 개발하고자 한다. 모형의 구축에 있어서 측정 장비 및 기타 변동요인으로 인한 특이점을 제거하기 위하여 로버스트 분석을 이용하였고 바람의 영향을 고려하지 않은 경우와 바람의 영향을 고려한 경우에 대해서 모형을 구축하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 교통정책 시행에 따른 차량배출가스로 인한 대기오염 현황을 파악하고 교통정책의 환경적 효과를 평가하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

In this study, we evaluated the anti-oxidative, whitening and anti-wrinkle effect of Tetrapanax papyriferum extract. Tetrapanax papyriferum was extracted by two different solvents which were n-Hexane, ethyl acetate. The anti-oxidant activity was measured by free radical scavenging activity using DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical). And the inhibitory activities of tyrosinase for whitening effect and collagenase, elastase for anti-wrinkle were investigated. For anti-oxidant activity, ethyl acetate fraction of Tetrapanax papyriferum extract showed more significant activity than n-Hexane fraction of Tetrapanax papyriferum extract. For whitening activity, n-Hexane fraction of Tetrapanax papyriferum extract exhibited strong inhibition effects compared with reference. Therefore, Tetrapanax papyriferum extract may be useful as a new antioxidant and whitening agent.

In the previous study, we reported the antioxidative activity and inhibition of melanogenesis of Ligularia stenocephala extracts. In this study, inhibitory effect on elastase and production type I procollagen were investigated. The compounds which was investigated were 4-hydroxyacetophenone, vanillin, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid isolated from Ligularia stenocephala. They were slightly mild on elastase inhibition activity but 4-hydroxyacetophenone, vanillin exhibited good inhibition activity on collagen production. These results suggest that Ligularia stenocephala may have potential as an anti-aging ingredient in cosmetics.

In this study, we evaluated anti-oxidation and whitening effects of Ligularia stenocephala extract for use as the cosmeceuticals. L. stenocephala was extracted by three different solvents which was n-Hexane, ethyl acetate, H2O. The free radical (1,l-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl, DPPH) scavenging activity of extract of L. stenocephala was in the order: ethyl acetate fraction of leaf (IC50 value of 10.512ug/mL) 〉 ethyl acetate fraction of stem (IC50 value of 31.877ug/mL) 〉 H2O fraction of leaf (IC50 value of 129.194ug/mL). Reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging activity of extract of L. stenocephala was in the order: ethyl acetate fraction of leaf (IC50 value of 0.230mg/mL) 〉 ethyl acetate fraction of stem (IC50 value of 0.528mg/mL) 〉 H2O fraction of leaf (IC50 value of 0.799mg/mL). Tyrosinase inhibition activity of L. stenocephala extracts was reduced 29.477% on ethyl acetate fraction of leaf, 13.583% on ethyl acetate fraction of stems. Therefore, L. stenocephala extracts may be useful as a new antioxidant and whitening agent to inhibit melanogenesis.

The performance of positive plates depends on the structure of the lead dioxide active mass. The positive active materials (PAM) consists of a skeleton, built up of agglomerates and macropores. Agglomerates, in their turn, comprise particles and micropores. This paper described a study conducted to determine the effects of different soaking times between the acid fill and formation stages of the tubular plate production. For the positive plates a lead oxide were filled into tubular bag with a red lead. After filling the positive plates were soaked in H2SO4 solution. X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and electrical testing had been used to study the compositional and morphological aspects of the positive active material(PAM) just prior and after formation. Results indicate that PAM compositions were effected by the soaking time and acid density of H2SO4 solution. It can be seen that as the soaking time duration increases, α-PbO, Pb3O4, and Pb were all gradually sulphating. Composition of 3BS reached a maximum at around 3 h duration and H2SO4 of sp. gr. 1.10 on soaking. This results would suggest that the most beneficial conditions for soaking were the H2SO4 of sp. gr. 1.10 and 2 to 6 h of soaking.

In the present study, impedance characteristics for AgO-Zn cell at various State-of-Charge (SoC) has been studied. The impedance measurements of AgO-Zn cell at various SoC were made over the frequency range from 100kHz to 10mHz with an amplitude 5mV. The impedance parameters have been evaluated by the analysis of the data using an equivalent circuit and a Non-linear least squares (NLLS) fitting method. The total resistances reflects the SoC of the cell. This indicates that the total resistance is important parameter for predicting SoC of AgO-Zn cell.

Ti 과 AI의 고순도 원소 박판을 이용하여 열간프레스장치에서 고온자전합성법으로 TiAI계 금속간화합물을 제조하였다. 원소 박판에서 TiAl3 금속간화합물을 제조하는 데 승온속도, 압력, 온도 등의 변수가 고온자전합성에 영향을 미치는 중요한 인자다. 특히 승온속도는 반응합성온도를 결정하는 인자로서 본 실험에서 DTA 분석을 이용하여 공정변수를 결정하였다. DTA 분석결과에 따르면, Ti와 AI의 계면에서 반응합성은 AI의 용융점 이하와 이상의 온도에서 두 번 발생함을 알 수 있다. 또한 승온속도가 증가할수록 두 반응합성온도는 증가하였다. 10층의 Ti 박판과 9층의 AI 박판을 20˚C/min의 승온속도로 고온자전합성시킨 후, 810˚C와 240MPa의 압력에서 4시간 동안 열처리한 결과 700μm 두께의 TiAI계 금속간화합물 판재를 제조하였으며, XRD 회절과 SEM으로 확인하였다.

Albendazole is the most commonly used medication worldwide for parasitic infestation. Albendazole may induce side effects such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, and headache, however hepatotoxicity is rare. A 37-year old woman was admitted to the hospital due to headache. Her child had been repeatedly infected with enterobius vermicularis, therefore she took albendazole three times for prophylactic purposes. The patient was diagnosed with hepatotoxicity induced by Albendazole based on a history of drug use; clinical symptoms and laboratory tests improved after ceasing drug administration, with a Roussel Uclaf Causality Assessment Method (RUCAM) score of 12.
