This research has been conducted in order to assess the effects on quality management factor of the construction sites. 30 companies abiding by the 'construction industry law' and 32 companies abiding by the 'housing construction promotion law' have been researched in areas of quality-management environment, quality-management understanding, quality-management education on construction field, quality-system and quality-improvement. We were able to obtain participations of 62 questionnaire, and derived statistics by means of SPSS/PC version 10.0. This paper presents a systematic approach to collaboration strategy planning. The framework suggests a Collaborative Process Map need to be identified. Then, Collaboration Maturity of each area is evaluated. Based on the Collaborative Process Map and Collaboration Maturity Evaluation, Collaboration Execution Plans are established. A case study of semiconductor industry is also provided.

This paper is for applying interactive fuzzy linear programming for the problem of product mix planning, which is one of the aggregate planning problem. We developed a modified algorithm, which has two-phase approach for interactive fuzzy linear programming to get a better solution. Adding two-phase method, we expect to obtain not only the highest membership degree, but also a better utilization of each constrained resource.

This study proposes a new approach which combines Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) techniques to effectively evaluate Decision Making Units (DMUs). While DEA evaluates a quantitative data set, employs linear programming to obtain input and output weights and ranks the performance of DMUs, AHP evaluates the qualitative data retrieved from expert opinions and other managerial information in specifying weights. The objective of this research is to design a decision support process for managers to incorporate positive aspects of DEA's absolute numerical evaluations and AHP's human preference structure values. It is believed that a pragmatic manager will be more receptive to the results that include subjective opinions incorporated into the evaluation of the efficiency of each DMU efficiency when the AHP and DEA are combined simultaneously. The WPDEA method provides better discrimination than the DEA method by reducing the number of efficient units.

Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement is originally developed quality program in Korea for supplier"s quality level-up since 1995. The quality target is below the 10ppm(parts per million) in outgoing quality and delivered goods plus field claim. Recently 1,053 companies is received Single PPM Quality Certification from government. This quality program is to realized the anticipated results not only quality level"s increasing, but also company"s confidence, competitiveness. In general one can find an enormous number of studies about the productivity of land, labor and capital, very little has been done so far to communicate about the productivity of corporate information creating and information-consuming resources in ways that are useful to business executives. In view of the enormous share of corporate spending on information resources it would be useful in planning, budgeting, as well as in performance evaluation to measure how information resources are used in creating EVA(economic value-added). The effectiveness in deploying information resources has potentially a greater effect on corporate financial performance than any other economic influence. That in because corporate executives have greater discretion in directing what their information management staffs will do than in setting the terms for materials purchases, employee compensation, taxes or interest rates. The expenses for information are mostly in the form of overhead costs. Because expenses for information are mostly overhead costs and not for costs of goods, the prudent decision-maker should have a wide array of discretionary options available for allocating this resource. This study is intended for analysis the factors that having effects on the enterprise information productivity and is to description the factor using a foreign enterprise case study.

Korean Standard Certificate, suitable for the korean industrial standards is one which was designed not only to spread and utilize the industrial standard established for the industrial standardization, but to protect the consumer. In this study, the practical effects of the Korean Standard Certificate will be examined in various fields, based on the small medium enterprises which achieved the KS Certificate. In order to look into how the system has effects on the performance of the management in a company, the method of the actual approach will be used. In the end, the purpose of this study is to find the plan in which KS Certificate can be helpful to the development of the company.

In this paper, we introduce the development of the large storage system in order to record the observed space radio signal in the Korean VLBI Network(KVN) with high-speed. The KVN is the Very Long Baseline Interferometery(VLBI) to observe the birth of star, the structure of space by constructing radio telescope with diameter 21m at the Seoul, Ulsan, Jeju from 2001 to 2007 years. To do this, Korea Astronomy Observatory joined the international consortium for developing the high-speed large storage system(Mark 5), which is developed by MIT Haystack observatory. The Mark 5 system based on hard disk has to record up to 1 Gbps the observed space radio signal. The main features of Mark 5 system are as follows; First it is able to directly record the input data to the hard disk without PC1(Peripheral Component Interconnect) internal bus, and the second, it has two hard disk banks, which are able to hot-swap ATA/IDE type very cheap up to 1 Gbps recording and playback. The third is that it follows the international VLBI standard interface hardware(VSI-H). Therefore it can be connect directly the VSI-H type system at the input/output. Finally it also supports e- VLBI(Electronic-VLBI) through the standard Gigabits Ethernet connection.

This paper is the research and development including the system design and the prototype system building of the 400MHz wide-band digital autocorrelation spectrometer system for radio astronomy observation, which will be used as back-end signal processing unit of the Dual channel SIS receiver at Taeduk Radio Astronomy Observatory. So in this paper, we performed development of the high speed digitizing sampler, the circular memory buffer, and the correlator module for the 400MHz wide-band digital autocorrelator. This developed system will be use at TRAO after the housing and some calibration.
