        Cap decks used in slim floor system for reducing floor height act as molds for forming floor slabs in structures with a span of up to 6m without temporary supports. When deep decks are employed in a structure with a span of more than 6m, the problem of defection occurs. This study suggests placing tendons at the ends of cap decks in order to create cambers and control defection when preload is applied. Uniformly distributed load was applied by an UTM to the two L/4 points of specimens to observe the deflection of preloaded cap decks. For the test, three 7.5m specimens were fabricated. One of them was a plain cap deck specimen and the others were those with tendons (PC strands or steel bars.

        These days, the Composite Slabs with Deep Deck plate was commonly used in domestic construction site, and, the application of the Slim Floor system was increased from the Enlargement and High-rise Building. But, Slim Floor system using the Deep Deck was shown safety problem caused by the deflection and local buckling in construction phase when used to more than 6m. Therefore, for solving the problem, the installation of the shores is essential. This study is realize the long span slab without shores from control the deflection through applied the pre-tensioning elements in CAP deck. In addition, by applying the pre-tensioning member as the tensile member of the CAP Deck slab, the pre-tensioning member for the shores tries to be used as the structural member. Accordingly, to determine the flexural performance of the CAP Deck slab through the pre-tensioning force in tensile member, and, the composite effect of the CAP Deck slab by the experiments.

        Deep Deck plate is suitable to long span structures because it has larger flexural rigidity than other shape deck plate. but Deflection is critically proportional to span length than other factors. and large deflection makes works anxiety and possibility of structural problems high after casting concrete. to overcome these problems, Preload is introduced to control the deflection of deep deck plate that ha s long span. So in this study, residual strength of preloaded deep deck plate is evaluated by FEM analysis method. for this study 4 analysis models is used and have each preload. Target preload for analysis models is when deck plate cambered to 30mm. 0.0, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, times of target preload are applied to each analysis models. In result of analysis, Preload influence residual strength of deck plate. And much preload degrade strength of deck plate.

        In this study the structural performance of new composite column to composite beam connection was evaluated by cyclic tests. It is designed to be applied to various types of through type system to the bottom plate to view synthesis composite beam. A composite column is composed of a RC type column reinforced by steel angles which the end bends in each edge corners of column. also, A composite beam is composed of trussed type’s web, a bottom steel plate and reinforced by steel angles which the end bends in each edge corners of beam. 4 cyclic tests of the clarified structural performance of the connections are performed. All specimens that is apply reinforced concrete beam-column joints based on KBC2009 criteria was performed by cyclic test of column to beam. All specimens were exposed to be satisfied with the required ultimate strength.

        Axial force of the bolt is very important for structural stability. To obtain stability of the structure, axial force of the bolt should satisfy the specification and be maintained over the time. Hence, It is important to the axial force of the bolt is measured and it manages. However, measuring of the axial force using sensors is very expensive. Torque method using frequently in the field is difficult to confirm accurately by the torque coefficient change. In this study, measuring of axial force using elastic force of the spring washer was studied. First, the relational formula is drawn about the pressure in which the spring washer model changes to the annular of the plane state. According to the axial force of the bolt, the necessity height of the spring washer is presented and the finite-element analysis model is recommended. The analysis model research, generally, the axial force of high strength bolt is confirmed. It expands to confirmation of the large caliber bolt.

        So far, square concrete filled tubular(CFT) columns have been used in a limited width thickness ratio. The reason is that local buckling occurs in steel tube easily. Once the local buckling occurs, the confinement effect of steel tube on concrete disappears. In this study, we developed welded built-up square steel tube with reinforcement which are placed at the center of the tube width acts as an anchor. 3 specimens of slender welded built-up square CFT columns and 3 specimens of slender welded built-up square steel tube columns were manufactured with parameters of width(B) of steel tube, width thickness ratio(B/t). we conducted a experimental test on the 6 specimens under eccentric load, and evaluated the structural resistance and behavior of 6 specimens.

        CFST columns are structurally superior because the concrete inside the steel tubes prevents local buckling at the tubes and the tubes confine the concrete. And, the thickness of steel tube in CFST column has been thinner with development of high-strengh steel. The thinner the steel tube of a square CFST column is, the more local buckling is likely to occur. For this reason, we developed welded built-up square steel tube with stiffeners which are placed at the center of the tube width acts as an anchor. In this study, we conduct experimental test for three specimens of the 4m long span welded built-up square CFT column with parameters of L/D and D/t. And, the test results were compared with the analysis results by M-ϕ-P Program.

        The clamping of torque shear high strength bolt is induced when the pin-tail is broken. Sometimes the clamping forces on slip critical connections do not meet the required tension due to torque coefficient dependent on conditions such as outdoor temperature, moisture and dust. From this study, the clamping forces of torque shear bolts at indoor conditions were compared with actual data investigated from 24 construction sites last five years. Similarly to foreign literature results, torque shear bolts showed that torque coefficients were fluctuated greatly by temperature conditions. The range of torque coefficient at indoor conditions was analyzed from 0.126 to 0.158 while tensions were indicated from 179 to 192 Nㆍm. Instead, the range of torque coefficient at site conditions was analyzed from 0.118 to 0.152. Based on this test, the variable trends of torque coefficient subjected temperature can be traced via statistic regressive analysis. In case of indoor conditions, it was showed that the variable of torque coefficient was 0.13% per 1℃, while the variable at actual site conditions reached 2.73% per 1℃.

        Recent increases in the use of Deep Deck, and the study was carried out much of the Deep Deck in the country. Research is the most studies on the behavior of the composite slab after the concrete is cured. However, the large stress is generated in the work load(150kgf/m2) at the time of pouring concrete. The Deep Deck does not satisfy the provisions of deflection during construction when applied to more than 6.0m span. In this study, installed a strand or reinforcing bar at the bottom of the Deep Deck. The pressing force of tension on the strand and rebar was carried out an experiment to produce an upward deflection of the Deep Deck. The loading experiment was carried out and the pressing force the UTM load.

        Other countries(USA, Europe) have performed the fire resistance design of buildings by the alternative performance design methods, which are based on fire engineering theories. However, in Korea, the process on the alternative fire resistance performance design has only suggested without any applications for real steel structures. Therefore, In the case of steel structures stagnant research on refractory measures face difficulties in introducing fire resistance design. In this study, first of all, Intumescent paint was analyze the thermal properties(thermal conductivity, specific heat and density). In Sequence, using the section factor by H-standard section propose of section concrete filled steel tube and hollow. finally presents a reasonable thickness Intumescent paint takes time to target performance of the proposed cross-section steel tube.

        Torque control method and turn of nut method are specified as clamping method of high strength bolts in the steel construction specifications. Quality control of torque coefficient is essential activity because torque control method, which is presently adopted as clamping method in domestic construction sites, is affected by variation of torque coefficient. The clamping of torque shear bolt is based on KS B 2819. It was misunderstood that the tension force of the TS bolt was induced generally at the break of pin-tail specified. However, the clamping forces on slip critical connections do not often meet the intended tension, as it considerably varies due to torque coefficient dependent on the environmental factors and temperature variables despite the break of the pin tail.This study was focused to evaluate the effect of environmental factors and errors of installing bolts during tightening high strength bolts. The environmental parameters were composed of 'wet' condition, 'rust' condition, 'only exposure to air' condition. And the manufacture of trial product was planned to identify the induced force into the bolts. The algorithm for a trial product was composed of the relation between electricity energy taken from torque shear wrench and tension force from hydraulic tension meter.

        The bond strength is not enough due to the delaminate of epoxy between FRP and steel. However, the adhesion reinforcement method can improve the bond strength between steel plate and FRP plate. In this study, a bolt tighting and FRP sheet wrapping methods were used to improve bond strength between steel plate and FRP plate. Also, flexural test were performed according to the attachment pattern for AFRP plate strengthened steel beams.

        This project is mainly related to evaluation of total energy consumption of low energy house, the exterior envelope of which was wholly composed of structural insulated panels(SIP). The U-value of applied SIP was in the range of 0.189 to 0.269W/㎡․K and the U-value of pair glass from 0.78 to 1.298W/㎡․K was applied for window dependent to its function respectively. For comparison of total energy performance, the energy simulation for pilot house was performed to compare with the control house having insulation criteria of Korean building regulation in 2009. Based on simulation of dynamic energy performance, the pilot house saved 48.3% of annual energy consumption while the control house in 2009 consumed as 85.7GJ/y. In case of heating, the result showed that the energy saving ratio amounted to 76.7%. For CO₂ emission, the pilot house diminished approximately 35.4% from 6,208.4kgCO₂ to 4,009.2kgCO₂. In payback period to early investment, it was analyzed the pilot house took 7.8 years, when the low energy house built by other insulation method with same thermal perfusion took 11.5 years. From this result, it is considered that the SIP is more effective, economic to Green Home application.

        The Adhesion method is general to reinforce steel structures using FRP(Fiber reinforced Plastic) material. Until recently in many studies, the adhesion method is being utilized. Most of the problem of this method have been eliminated. The bond performance is not enough due to the delaminate of epoxy between FRP and steel. In order to improve the problem, a bolt tighting, FRP sheet wrapping is to evaluation the degree of bond performance improvement in study.
