        Background: The longitudinal arch is important for individuals with pes planus. The toe spread out exercise (TSO) has been widely used to continuously support the longitudinal arch by increasing the abductor hallucis (AbdH) muscle activation. However, the AbdH muscle is commonly lack of the sufficient activation during the TSO especially in individuals with pes planus. Objects: This study was performed to investigate the effect of arch support on the muscle activity and strength of the AbdH during TSO in standing position in individuals with pes planus. Methods: Twenty subjects with pes planus between 20 and 30 years of age participated in this study. The muscle activity and strength of the AbdH were measured using surface EMG system and the Smart KEMA tensiometer system. The AbdH muscle was evaluated during TSO between individuals with and without longitudinal arch support in standing position. The longitudinal arch was supported by using the insole. The paired t-test was used. The level of statistical significance was set at α = 0.05. Results: The muscle activity and strength of the AbdH during TSO with arch support in standing position was significantly greater than that without arch support. Conclusion: The muscle activity and strength of the AbdH during TSO in standing position can be influenced by the longitudinal arch support in individuals with pes planus. The AbdH strengthening during TSO in standing with arch support can be recommended especially in individuals with pes planus in the clinical settings.

        본 연구에서는 연륙연도 사업에 대응하는 경제성 및 안정성을 갖춘 쌍동선형 차도선의 개발을 위해 U형과 V형의 서로 다른 쌍 동선형을 CFD 해석을 수행하여 저항성능을 비교하였다. CFD 해석 결과 U형 쌍동선형의 경우 14kts 이상의 고속에서 선수부 파형에 이상 이 발생하여 정상적인 운행이 불가능하다 판단되었으며, 이에 비해 V형은 동일한 속도에서도 이상이 발생하지 않았으며, 또한 U형 쌍동선 형 대비 V형 쌍동선형의 경우, 저속에서는 U형 대비 높은 침수표면적에도 불구하고 거의 같은 RTS값을 보이지만, 고속으로 넘어가면 U형 에 비해 확연히 낮은 RTS값을 보임을 확인, V형의 쌍동선형이 U형에 비해 저항성능이 개선됨을 확인하였다.

        본 연구에서는 2010년부터 2013년까지 4년간 연안개발사업에 따른 일반해역이용협의서 133건을 분석하여 사업유형별 해양환경영향평가 개선방안을 제시하였다. 침식방지사업은 정확한 침식원인 분석이 선행되어야 하고 주변 해안의 상태와 구조물 설치 시 추가적인 문제점 발생 가능성에 대해 정확히 예측해야 하며, 사업시행 후 사후모니터링을 통한 침식방지 효과를 입증하는 체계적인 시스템이 마련되어야 한다. 호안 및 해안도로 건설사업의 경우, 무분별한 해안도로의 건설은 지양하고 구조물 안정성을 충분히 검토하여야 하며 반사파 증가에 따른 해안침식의 문제점을 함께 검토해야 한다. 그리고 침수방지 사업은 평가항목에 파랑을 선정할 필요가 있고 이상 파랑의 영향을 함께 고려해야 한다. 친수공간 조성사업은 종합적이고 체계적인 공간계획이 수립되어야 하고, 자연환경을 최대한 보전하고 자연과 융화될 수 있는 개발이 될 수 있도록 검토를 강화해야 할 것이다. 아울러 연안개발사업과 관련하여 많은 문제점이 내재되어 있어 법 제도적 측면에서의 지원과 함께 추후 해역별, 사업별 특성이 다양하게 반영된 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

        This study was conducted to determine the relationship between elapsed time after semen preservation on the changes of bacteria and semen quality. Semen was diluted with BTS(Beltsville Thawing Solution) extender without antibiotic for 7 days and sperm parameter and fertility were measured. Sperm motility was measured by CASA and total bacteria number was counted after 22~24 hr incubation from counting agar plate in which sperm dilute to 10 ~106 in 0.9% saline solution and inoculate to agar. Acrosomal integrity was measured by Chlortetracycline (CTC) staining. CTC patterns were uniform fluorescence over the whole head (pattern F), characteristic of incapacitated acrosome- intact spermatozoa; fluorescence-free band in the post-acrosomal region (pattern B), characteristic of capacitated acrosome-intact spermatozoa; and almost no fluorescence over the whole head except for a thin band in the equatorial segment (pattern AR), characteristic of acrosome reacted spermatozoa. Total number of bacteria was significantly increased (p<0.0001) 3 days after preservation. Sperm motility, viability, and morphological abnormality on elapsed time after preservation were lower from 5 (77.24±6.47, p<0.001) and 7 days (77.24±6.47, p<0.001) after preservation compared to 1 (15.71±7.18) and 3 days(18.39±7.22) after preservation, respectively. Sperm viability was significantly lower (53.25± 35.03, p<0.0001) at 7 days after preservation. Morphological abnormality of sperm was lower (p<0.001) at 1 (15.71±7.18) and 3 (18.39±7.22) days compared to 5 (21.84±7.91) and 7 (22.59±9.93) days after preservation. Acrosomal integrity and capacitation rate (pattern F) were significantly lower (p<0.001) from 5 days after preservation. Based on the data we obtained from this study suggested that semen preserved more than 5 days without antibiotic would not recommend use for artificial insemination.

        The brilliant cresyl blue (BCB) has been used to select the developmental competent oocytes in pigs, goats and cows. Growing oocytes have a higher level of active glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase(G6PDH) compare to mature oocytes and are rarely stained compared to mature oocytes, because G6PDH converts BCB to colorless. First polar body extrusion regard as a guideline of meoisis completion. Selection of polar body extrude oocyte is more developmental competent to blastocyst than unselected. This study was conducted to compare the BCB test to the polar body extrusion on selection of developmental competent porcine oocytes for the production of blastocyst. Cumulus-Oocytes complex were exposed to 26uM BCB stain diluted in NCSU-23 for 90 min. There was no significant difference embryo development to blastocysts between BCB treated and not treated(19.58±1.99 vs 18.75±2.27 %), which means there was no detrimental effect of BCB exposure to oocytes. Normal fertilization is not differed among treatment groups from 70.0 to 78.4% development to blastocyst, beside polyspermy did not. To compare two different selection methods, BCB test and polar body extrusion, evaluate the developmental competent of IVP embryos. BCB+PB+(blue stained and polar body extruded, 20.71±0.45%) and BCB-PB+(colorless and polar body extruded, 20.04±1.29%) groups are significantly (p<0.05) higher developed than those of BCB+PB-(blue stained and no polar body, 13.24±0.73%) and BCB-PB-(colorless and no poladbody, 7.25±0.77%). These results showed that selection of polar body extruded oocytes method is more efficient than that of BCB test.

        본 연구에서는 관형 상용막(ultrafiltration (UF), nanofiltration(NF)을 이용하여 우유를 농축하고 농축 성분의 변화를 알아보았다. 친수성막(sulfonated polysulfone (SPSf), polyacrylonitrile(PAN), cellulose acetate(CA)) 의 경우에는 투과유의 투과속도 감소가 완만하고 소수성막의 경우에는 투과속도 감소가 심하였다. UF 농축이 경우 전고형분, 단백질,지방 미네랄은 농축에 따라 증가하고 탄수화물은 감소하였다. NF 농축의 경우 UF와 같은 경향을 보였지만 탄수화물의 감소경향이 훨씬 적었다.

        Sulfonated Polyetherimide 막은 pore 형성을 위한 polyvinylpyrrolidone 과 저비점 용매 dichloromethane을 첨가하여 투과성능을 최적할 수 있었다. SPEL 막의 친수성은 단백질등의 투과시 모든 pH 범위에서 막 오염을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있으며, 도입된 sulfonic acid group의 음이온성으로 인하여 동일한 전하의 용질을 쉽게 분리할 수 있었다.

        Fouling을 줄이기 위한 한외여과용 친수성 막을 제조하기 위해서 chlorosulfonic acid(CSA)를 사용하여 이온교환용량이 다른 여러 종류의 sulfonated polyethersulfone(SPES)을 불균일계에서 제조하고 특성조사를 하였다. CSA농도, 반응온도, 반응시간 등의 반응조건에 따른 반응도와 분해정도를 알아본 결과 10℃ 이상의 온도와 0.05 mol 이상의 CSA 농도에서 효과적으로 반응이 일어나지만 고분자 주쇄의 분해가 심하게 일어나는 경향을 나타내었다. 술폰산기의 치환여부는 FTIR과 1H-NMR로 확인할 수 있었다. 불균일계에서 개질된 SPES 한외여과막의 단백질에 의한 fouling 감소효과를 알아보기 위해 같은 투과성능을 갖는 막을 비용매인 DCM과 pore 형성제 PVP를 첨가제로 사용하여 막을 제조하였다. 이온교환용량이 증가함에 따라 투과속도는 감소하고 배제율은 상당히 증가되었다. 이런 결과는 SEM에 의해서도 확인할 수 있었다. Finger 구조가 사라지면서 top layer의 두께도 증가하였다. 비용매인 DCM에 의해서 치밀한 막을, pore 형성제인 PVP에 의해서 다공성 막을 제조할 수 있었다. 이온교환 용량이 높을수록 친수성이 증가하여 fouling을 감소시킬 수 있었다.

        To investigate the usability of the bitterns produced during salt manufacture, the characteristics of soybean curdscoagulated with bitterns like solar salt bitterns (SSB), dehydrated salt bitterns (DSB), concentrated sea water (CSW) and bitterns produced during the storage of solar salt (BSS) were measured. The Mg contents of all the bitterns were the same, but the Na content of the BSS was 1.0-2.0 times as high as that of the other bitterns. The yield of the soybean curds did not differ with the addition of coagulants, except for the CSW. However, the soybean curds were acquired in large quantities by the DSB and CSW. The mg and Na contents of the soybean curds that were made with the bitterns were higher than those of MgCl2. The heavy metals were below 3 ppm in the curds, especially those produced by the CSW, but Pb was not detected. Among the mechanical characteristics of the soybean curds, their adhesiveness was not affected by the coagulants, but the mechanical hardness of the curds produced by the DSB and CSW was lower. The sensory evaluation showed that the curds that were produced by the bitterns were more highly preferred than those produced by MgCl2. In particular, the soybean curd that was made with the CSW was favored due to its soft texture. The results of this study, particularly the high yield of the curds that showed a soft texture, showed that the bitterns, especially the CSW, could be used safely and economically.
