The subfamily Pimplinae comprising more than 1,700 described species within 77 genera worldwide. Sixty-nine specieswithin 20 genera have been recorded from South Korea. Among them, the genus Endromopoda is a small sized groupin the subfamily Pimplinae with 11 described species from Nearctic, Oriental and Palaearctic regions. This genus is newlyrecorded from South Korea for the first time. Genus Endromopoda can easily be distinguished from other genera of Pimplinaeby the following characters: Distinctly depressed ovipositor, with perpendicular teeth on apex; elongated propodeum. In this study, we report three unrecorded South Korean species, Endromopoda arundinator (Fabricius,1804), Endromopoda detrita (Holmgren, 1860) and Endromopoda phragmitidis (Perkins, 1957). In addition, diagnoses, photographs of newly recorded species and a key to the species of South Korean Endromopodaare provided.

The subgenus Parabates Förster, 1869 is one of 12 subgenera of the genus Netelia belonging to the subfamily Tryphoninae. Parabates of the genus Netelia is a small subgenus with only six species worldwide. In South Korea, Lee & Cha (1996, 2000) reported N. (P.) fusca Konishi and N. (P.) ishiharai Uchida. In the present study, an additional species, N. (P.) nigricarpus, is recorded for the first time from South Korea. Diagnoses and photographs of the diagnostic characteristics of known species are provided. The Banchinae are a large cosmopolitan subfamily that includes approximately 1,800 species in 67 genera. The number of species in South Korea is still pooly known and only 18 of the 312 Eastern Palaearctic species have been reported (Yu et al., 2016). Most species are koinobiont endoparasitoids of lepidopteran larvae and pupae. Teleutaea is a moderately sized genus, comprises 20 described species from Palaearctic, Neotropic and Oriental regions. One species has been described from Mexico. The data of the species from the neighbor countries was summarized as follow: 10 species from Russia (Kuslitzky, 2007); 10 species from Japan (Momoi, 1978; Watanabe & Maeto 2014); 15 species from China continental (Sheng, 2014); three species from Taiwan (Chiu, 1965). Until now the genus was not known from South Korea. Members of this genus parasitize on lepidopterous larvae and pupae living in different kinds of hideaways after than, they emerge from the pupa as adult. As a result, we newly recorded seven species from South Korea including a new species. The key for identification of the South Korean species of Teleutaea and description of a new species are provided.

Pteromalinae Dalman, 1820 are the largest subfamily in Pteromalidae and currently include 2,073 extant species of 314 genera. This group is probably difficult to define taxonomically. Members of this subfamily are endoparasitoids of Lepidoptera, Diptera and Coleoptera larvae and pupae. Up to date, only 46 species of 30 genera belonging to five subfamilies have been recorded from South Korea. As a result of this study, we reported 25 unrecorded species of 13 genera for the first time from South Korea. Therefore, 71 species of 43 genera in Pteromalinae are recorded from South Korea.

Chalcididae Latreille, 1817 currently include 1,464 extant species in 87 genera in the world. This family is probably easy to define taxonomically. Body robust with coarse puncture, prepectus extremely narrow, hind femur typically swollen and on inner margin with one or more teeth. Members of this family are primary endoparasitoids on pupa of Diptera and Lepidoptera. Up to date, only 12 species of 6 genera belonging to three subfamilies have been recorded from South Korea. As a result of this study, six species (Chalcis sp. 1, Conura sp. 1, Haltichella cf. nipponensis Habu, Hockeria cf. bifasciata Walker, Proconura sp. 1 and Steninvreia cf. petiolata Bouček) in Chalcididae are recorded for the first time in South Korea. Among them four genera (Haltichella Spinola, Hockeria Walker, Proconura Dodd and Steninvreia Bouček) are recorded for the first time in South Korea. Therefore, 18 species of 10 genera in Chalcididae are recorded from South Korea.

Filixungulia, a small genus within the subfamily Allantinae (Symphyta: Tenthredinidae), consists of three species distributed only in Northern China: F. alboclypea Wei, 1997; F. crassitarsata Wei, 1997; F. cylindrica Wei, 2003. It is close to Asiemphytus Malaise and Macremphytus MacGillivray but is separated by the following characteristics: claws simple and very slender; basal lobe and inner tooth absent. Up to date, Filixungulia has not yet been recorded out of China. As a result of the present study, the genus Filixungulia is newly recognized from South Korea with two species, F. alboclypea and F. cylindrica. This discovery extends the range of the genus Filixungulia, which was previously known as a Chinese endemic genus. Also, a key, diagnosis and photographs of each species are provided.

The subfamily Pimplinae currently include 1,737 worldwide species in 77 genera. 57 species in 18 genera have been recorded from South Korea. Among them, the genus Scambus is a moderate sized group in the subfamily Pimplinae with 152 described species from Nearctic, Neotropical, Oriental and Palaearctic regions. The taxonomic study of the South Korean Scambus was initiated by Uchida (1928), who reported one species, Scambus calobatus (Gravenhorst, 1829). The genus Tromatobia is small group in this subfamily with 33 species from Afrotropical, Austrian, Nearctic, Neotropical, Oriental and Palaearctic regions. This genus was newly recorded from South Korea for the first time. In this study, we report seven unrecorded South Korean species, Scambus nigricans (Thomson, 1877), Scambus vesicarius (Ratzeburg, 1844), Tromatobia flavistellata Uchida & Momoi, 1957, Tromatobia nipponica Uchida, 1928, Tromatobia ornata (Gravenhorst, 1829), Tromatobia ovivora (Boheman, 1821) and Tromatobia variabilis (Holmgren, 1856).

Diapriidae are the largest family in Diaprioidea with 2,087 species, 194 genera and three subfamilies that are distributed in all biogeographic regions. Most members of the family are primarily solitary or gregarious endoparasitoids of various dipteran larvae or pupae. Some species are also known to attack hymenopteran, coleopteran and lepidopteran species. To date 18 species in total are known from South Korea. We present an updated checklist of 18 South Korean species of Diapriidae, with correcting some errors previously made. New Korean names for each species are also suggested herein.

Netelia Gray, 1860, a largest genus within the subfamily Tryphoninae and its distribution is worldwide. The members of Netelia are known to be ectoparastic koinobionts of lepidopteran larvae. More than 330 species have so far been recorded and divided into 12 subgenera. Among them, the subgenus Amebachia Uchida, 1928 was reported as a genus by Uchida (1928) based on Amebachia baibarana from Taiwan. The lectotype of Amebachia baibarana Uchida, 1928, was re-examined and then this species should be a subgenus of the genus Netelia by Konishi (2010). Consequently, five currently valid species of Netelia (Amebachia) have been described in the world. As a result of the present study, the subgenus Amebachia belonging to the genus Netelia is reported from South Korea for the first time based on a species of Netelia (Amebachia) rasilella and N. (A.) yoshimatsui. Redescriptions and photographs of the diagnostic characters of two species are provided.
