Ricania sublimata are insects invaded in South Korea from China 2011. It has been happening continuously since invaded and It is established and continues to increase and occur in various crops such as persimmons, peaches, and apples. The nymphs and adults of R. sublimata causes damage by sucking the stems and leaves of trees. Yellow, blue, and white sticky traps (25x15cm) were installed in the 1000m2 Omija(Schizandra Chinesis Baillon) orchard september 2020 and the trap captures by color was investigated. In addition, yellow sticky traps were installed at heights of 1m, 1.7m, and 2m, and the trap captures according to the height was investigated. As a result of attraction according to the color of the sticky trap, yellow trap was the most attractive, blue and white traps had little attraction. And result of capture according to the yellow sticky trap height the most were caught at 1.7m height, followed by 1m and 2m in that order. Therefore, it is considered reasonable to investigate the density and monitoring of R. sublimata using yellow sticky trap.
Schizandra chinensis is one of the local special crops grown in Mungyeong, more than 70% of Gyeongbuk area. Scirtothrips dorsalis(Hood) are the most damaging pests among the insects that occur in the Schizandra chinensis, mainly affecting fruit quality, yield and quality. Therefore, it is necessary to study how to reduce the damages by establishing efficient forecasting method and pesticide control system for the Scirtothrips dorsalis(Hood) occurring in Schizandra chinensis. Scirtothrips dorsalis(Hood) was surveyed with yellow sticky traps from April to September in the Mungyeong area. Scirtothrips dorsalis(Hood) has the highest density in July, beginning in early May, and then again in September. Therefore, the suitable time to control the Scirtothrips dorsalis(Hood) is in late May, early July, and mid August. Three species of pesticides(Spinetoram WG, Emamectin benzoate EC, Chlorfenapyr EC) registered in Scirtothrips dorsalis(Hood) were treated three times at the suitable time, as a result of the treatment, a high effect of 92% more.
The Shine Muscat grape(Vitis vinifera L.) have high quality and the cultivation area is increasing recentely in Republic of Korea. The total cultivation area of the country('18) is 963ha, and the cultivation area of Gyeongbuk area is 81%, which is 780ha. But the research on pests causing damage in cultivation is insufficient. Recently, the damage caused by Bark beetles is increasing due to the abnormal weather and the increase of the cultivation area of shine muskets. The Bark beetles that occur in the Grape Shine Muskete plantation are Xyleborinus saxesen, which pierce tree trunks and cause the whole tree to die. Xyleborinus saxesen occurred continuously from April to August, and it occurs in Shine Muscat stem damaged by the frostbite. Shine muskets are weak to frostbite, so it is necessary to keep the trees free from frostbite in winter and early spring.
Schizandra chinensis(Turcz.) Bail is one of the local special crops grown in Mungyeong, more than 70% of Gyeongbuk province in South Korea, and various pests are emerging due to recent climate change and intensive cultivation. Scirtothrips dorsalis(Hood) are the most damaging pests among the insects that occur in the Schizandra chinensis(Turcz.), mainly affecting fruit quality, yield and quality. The survey was conducted from February 2017 to September 2018 in three locations in Mungyeong area. Blue and yellow traps were used to investigate the occurrence patterns and the degree of damage. As a result of the survey, Scirtothrips dorsalis(Hood) occurred first in flowering period in May, and then occurred in fruits.
The occurrence density was highest in July. It was confirmed that the attractiveness of each trap color was blue in the early stage of growth and yellow in the late stage but there was no significant difference in the whole.
