        최근 황사, 차량 배기가스, 특히 화산재 등에 따른 미세먼지 등으로 인해 발생하는 대기 오염에 대한 우려로 저감 설비에 대한 사회적 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 화산재 등과 같은 입자성 유동에 대한 공기정화 설비에 많이 활용되는 다공판이나 다공매질을 통과하는 유동 특성 분석을 위한 전산해석을 다루었다. 실제 다공판이나 다공매질의 경우 공극이 작을 때는 전산해석에 많은 어려움이 있어 경험적 모형이 활용되는 추세인데, 경험적 모형에 포함된 경험계수의 산정 방법과 결과를 실제 다공영역에 대한 전산 모형을 활용하거나 실험에 의한 압력강하 계측 결과와 비교함으로써 효과적인 전산해석 방법을 제시하고자 하였다.

        CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis was carried out to analysis the air flow characteristics of vertical axis wind turbine system with accelerating device. Geometric arc angle of the accelerating device affects the air flow characteristics in the turbine with the effect of Coanda generated from the curved surface. Air velocity distributions with the device angle variation are compared. Flow velocity increases with the device length, and the accelerating device plays a key role in decreasing the air velocity in the wake flow region. Maximum air velocity variation becomes reduced with the accelerating device, and it is largely affected by the arc angle. These results are expected to be utilized in various ways to determine the shape of accelerating device for wind power generation system.

        This research is to investigate the performance analysis of micro gas turbine for power generation with three different numbers of the nozzle vane in the micro gas turbine. Velocity, pressure. and temperature distributions of fluid over the flow domain of the turbine and turbulent kinetic energy of three different turbine blades are numerically calculated for the optimum design of turbine blade with two different rotational speeds of the turbine blade (10000 and 20000 RPM). Ultimately, the energy-efficient and maximum power-generated shape of the nozzle vane are determined through two different rotational speeds of the turbine with three shapes of the nozzle vane (6, 8, and 12 EA).

        This research is to numerically investigate the flow analysis of thermopneumatic micropump with three different thicknesses of PDMS membrane in micropump owing to the thermal expansion with uniform heat flux in the PDMS membrane. Velocity, temperature distributions and flow rates over the flow domain with different membrane thicknesses in the micropump are numerically calculated for the performance evaluation of pressure increase in micropump with uniform inlet velocity and temperature. According to the calculations of local maximum velocity at outlet, higher thickness of PDMS membrane(500μm) give larger local velocity in the micropump and maximum local velocity occurred at the center of the micropump with respect to the axial direction.

        This research is to investigate the flow characteristics of micropump with two different types of diffuser outlet in micropump (straight and round). Four different outlet diameters(1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm at straight type of diffuser outlet and single outlet diameter(1mm) at round type are utilized for the flow analysis of the diffuser in micropump. Velocity and pressure distributions of fluid over the flow domain are numerically calculated for the shape optimum design of diffuser in micropump with uniform inlet velocity and pressure. According to the calculations of local maximum pressure at diffuser outlet, straight type of diffuser with larger diameter of diffuser outlet is of highest flow energy performance of the flow channel shapes in the present micropump.

        When manufacturing die casting mold, generally, the casting layout design should be considered based on the relations of injection system, casting condition, gate system, and cooling system. According to the various relations of the conditions, the location of product defects was differentiated. High-qualified products can be manufactured as those defects are controlled by the proper modifications of die casting mold with keeping the same conditions. In this research, Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulation was performed with the several layout designs in order to optimize the casting layout design of an automotive part (Housing). In order to apply them into the production die-casting mold, the simulation results were analyzed and compared carefully. With the filling process, internal porosities caused by air entrapments were predicted and also compared with the modification of the gate system and overflow. With the solidification analysis, internal porosities occurring during the solidification process were predicted and also compared with the modified gate system. The simulation results were also applied into the production die-casting mold in order to compare the results and verify them with the real casting samples.

        In this study, flow characteristic of small vertical-axis wind turbine was performed to analysis the numerical analysis. Blade geometry in the wind turbine is NACA 6512-43, and various degrees of the wind turbine accelerator were adopted. Numerical models are used for the analysis with CFD program of Ansys fluent and RNG k-e turbulence model was used. Rotational speed value of the wind turbine in analysis condition were obtained by the experiment. When the wind turbine accelerator is equipped, exit velocity of wind turbine accelerator tended to increases. Also RPM of wind turbine is increase. And maximum RPM appeared that wind turbine accelerator in degree 60° is equipped.

        난류유동에 의한 소음은 계산비용의 관점에서 음향 상사법을 이용하여 전산유체 기법과 결합해 다양한 해석모델이 연구되고 있다. FW-H 음향상사법을 이용한 유동소음해석의 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있으나, 기존 문헌들의 결과에서는 계산비용의 관점에서 난류유동에 의한 소음성분을 생략하고 있다. 그러나, 최근의 연구에서 유동소음특성에 있어 난류소음의 중요성이 밝혀진바 있다. 본 논문에서는 RANS 난류모델과 투과성 경계면을 이용한 Permeable FW-H 음향상사법을 이용한 난류유동소음해석에 대해 연구하였다. 2D 실린더에 대하여 직접적으로 변동압력을 추출하는 직접법과 난류성분을 고려하지 않은 FW-H 상사법, 또 난류소음의 성분을 포함하는 Permeable FW-H 방법의 경우를 비교하였다. Permeable FW-H 방법을 통해 일반적으로 적용되는 FW-H 방법에서 해석 불가능한 난류에 의한 소음의 영향을 기존의 FW-H 방법과 동일한 계산비용으로 예측할 수 있었고, 적절한 투과성 경계면 설정을 통해 높은 정확도의 해석이 가능했다. Permeable FW-H 방법을 통한 난류유동해석 절차를 확립하였으며, 그 유용성을 확인했다.

        본 연구는 격자수, 첫 번째 격자까지의 거리(YP+), 난류모델 그리고 이산화 방법에 따른 해의 변화량을 조사하였다. 대상선박은 KVLCC이며, 격자구성과 유동해석은 상용코드인 Gridgen V15와 FLUENT를 사용하였다. 검토는 2가지 파트로 나누어서 수행하였다. 첫 번째 파트는 격자수, 난류모델 그리고 이산화 방법의 조합에 따른 해의 영향성을 평가하였다. 두 번째 파트는 적합한 YP+ 선정에 초점을 두었다. 격자수와 이산화 방법이 동일한 경우 마찰저항은 난류모델에 따라 약 1 % 내에서 차이를 보였으나, 압력저항은 약 9 %의 큰 차이를 보였다. YP+와 이산화 방법이 동일한 경우 YP+를 30과 50으로 설정하였을 때 마찰저항은 난류모델에 따라 약 1 % 내에서 차이를 보였으나, 100에서는 약 3 % 차이를 보였다. 반면, 압력저항은 YP+값에 무관하게 난류모델에 따라 약 10 % 차이를 보였다. 난류모델과 이산화 방법이 동일한 경우 격자 수 변화 따라 마찰저항, 압력저항 그리고 전 저항 모두 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 난류모델과 이산화 방법이 동일한 경우 YP+의 변화에 따라 마찰저항은 5~8 %의 큰 차이를 보였고, 압력저항은 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다.

        The purpose of this study is to develop the flowmeter of high viscosity paint spraying system. In this study, the numerical flow analysis of the flowmeter was performed. The velocity and the pressure distributions were obtained using the turbulent SST(Shear Stress Transport) model. The ICEM-CFD13 and CFXMesher, reliable grid generation software was also adapted to secure high quality grid necessary for the reliable analysis. According to the simulation results, the flow rate of flowmeter is 6.49l/min in case of Δp=45bar. This result was in good agreement with design result and could be applied to the actual design of the high viscosity paint spraying system

        This study is done as a comparison analysis on existing studies on analysis and interpretations of solenoids. When there is no power in a solenoid valve, a flow passage is formed from a pressurized ports, Pc, to Ps, which are connected to a crankcase of a pressurizer. An inlet to Pc port is varied in three different sizes: 3.8 ㎜(Type-1), 4.0 ㎜(Type-2) and 4.2 ㎜(Type-3). It is determined that there will be changes in coolant flow into the solenoid valve and the flow properties from Pc port to Ps port are compared and analyzed. As the results, the flow demonstrates the maximum speed of 500 ㎧, 46 ㎧ and 433 ㎧ with 0.2 ㎫ for the inflow pressure and the maximum speed of 1400 ㎧, 129 ㎧ and 1200 ㎧ with 1.5 ㎫ for the inflow pressure.

        본 연구에서는 조간대가 발달한 우리나라 전북 서해안의 구시포 해안에서 연안류에 미치는 외력성분을 평가하기 위하여 조석ㆍ조류 및 파에 의한 해빈류를 고려한 복합해수유동모형을 구축하였다. 구축된 모형에서 조석ㆍ조류는 EFDC 모형, 파랑은 SWAN 모형, 그리고 해빈류는 SHORECIRC 모형을 사용하였다. 이 수치모형의 적용성을 검토하기 위하여, 현지에서 조석ㆍ조류와 입사파를 현장관측하였고 인근 기상관측소의 바람자료를 조사하였다. 그리고 현지의 조간대에서 GPS를 장착한 경량 Drogue의 추적실험을 수행하고 연안류 성분을 추출하였다. 또한 현장관측조건에 맞추어 수치모형에 의한 수치 Drogue 추적실험을 수행하고 그 결과를 관측치와 비교ㆍ검토하였다. 그 결과, 수치 Drogue의 이동속도는 현장자료에 대해 68.0~105.2 %의 범위로서 재현되었으며, 주류성분의 오차는 – 16.7~ +10.0 %로서 양호하였다. 그리고 연안류 성분은 주로 바람과 조류가 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 해저경사가 아주 완만하여 쇄파대폭이 넓은 조간대에서 입사파고가 작은 파가 내습하는 경우의 해빈류는 연안류의 흐름에 미치는 영향이 미약한 것으로 분석되었다.

        This paper carried out a comparative analysis with papers on the analysis and analytic research of conventional solenoid. In case the current of solenoid valve is cut off, a flow path is formed from pressure port (Pc) connected with the crankcase of compressor to Ps port. At this time, the size of Pc port hole was so adjusted (Type-2) that it was smaller than 4.0mm(Type-1) of original hole by 0.2mm. After that, it was thought that an effect would be produced on the flow change of refrigerant which came into the solenoid vale, therefore the flow characteristics in moving from Pc port to Ps port was predicted and comparatively analyzed. According to the results of flow analysis, a velocity of approximately 46m/s and 129m/s was shown at the maximum in case of 0.2 and 1.5 MPa in Type-1, and the maximum velocity of approximately 500m/s and 1400m/s was shown in case of Type-2.

        In the paper an efficient numerical algorithm to predict the flow phenomena around the water-jet propulsion system was described. The potential-based flow analysis method was adopted to predict the velocity and the pressure on the inlet duct of the water-jet propulsion system. The method employed normal dipoles and source distributed on the solid surface such as the inlet duct and the tracked vehicle. The inlet duct and outlet open boundary surfaces were introduced where the sources and dipoles were distributed to define a closed boundary surface. The developed numerical algorithm was applied to a tracked vehicle propelled by the water-jet propulsion system with the different IVR(inlet velocity ratio). The results by the numerical analysis were compared with the experimental data in order to verify the feasibility of the proposed numerical algorithm.

        A 2D axisymmetric numerical analysis was performed to study the characteristics of charge process inside solar thermal storage tank. The porosity and heat transfer coefficient of filler material as well as inlet velocity of heat transfer fluid are selected as simulation parameters. The porosity is varied as 0.2, 0.5, and 0.8 to account for the effect of filler granule geometry. Two levels of the heat transfer coefficient is adopted to assess the heat transfer between heat transfer fluid and filler material. The inlet velocity is varied as 0.00278, 0.0278, and 0.278m/s. As both of the porosity and the heat transfer coefficient increase, the discrepancy of the temperature distributions between the filler and heat transfer fluid decreases. As the inlet velocity increases, the penetration depth of the heat transfer fluid increases proportionally.

In this research, in order to optimize the casting layout design of an automotive Oil Pan_DX2E, Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulation was performed with two layout designs by using the simulation software (AnyCasting). The simulation results were analyzed and compared carefully in order to apply them into the production die-casting mold. During the filling process with two models, internal porosities caused by air entrapments were predicted and also compared with the modification of the gate system and overflow. With the solidification analysis, internal porosities occurring during the solidification process were predicted and also compared with the modified gate system.

        A 2D axisymmetric numerical analysis was performed to study the characteristics of charge process inside solar thermal storage tank. The interfacial area density and inertial resistance of filler material are selected as simulation parameters. The interfacial area density is varied as 800, 2000, and 4000 1/m. The inertial resistance is varied as 1, 3, and 5 1/m. When the interfacial area density increases from 800 to 4000 1/m, the discrepancy of the temperature distributions between the filler and heat transfer fluid decreases. As inertial resistance increases from 1 to 5, both of the temperature and fluid flow pattern changes considerably.
