        High-risk microbial pathogens are handled in a biosafety laboratory. After experiments, the pathogens may remain as contaminants. To safely manage a biosafety laboratory, disinfection of microbial contaminants is necessary. This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of UV-C irradiation for the disinfection of a high-risk plant pathogenic bacterium Erwinia amylovora in a laboratory setting. For the test, the bacterium (8.7 × 106 CFU/ml) was embedded on the surface of PDA and placed on the work surface in a biosafety cabinet (Class 2 Type A1), and on the three different surfaces of the laboratory bench, laboratory bench shelf, and the floor which were positioned in a straight line from the UV lamp installed in the ceiling of the biosafety laboratory (BSL 2 class). UV-C irradiation was administered for 10min, 30min, 1 hr, 2hr, 3 hr, and 4hr, respectively. The reduction rate of bacteria ranged from 95% to 99% in regard to 10 min irradiation, from 97% to 99% in regard to 30 min irradiation, from 99.8% to 99.9% in regard to 1 hr irradiation, and higher than 99.99% in regard to 2 hr irradiation. The bacterium was completely inactivated after 3 hr irradiation. A similar UV-C irradiation effect was obtained when the bacterium was placed at a distance of 1 m from the three different surface points. Bacterial reduction by UV-C irradiation was not significantly different among the three different surface points.

        The misuse of resources is getting serious every year, and the annual cost of domestic wates disposal announced by the Ministry of Environment is appraching 15 to 23 trillion won, Concerns are mounting that if the situation persists, the saturation of domestic waste landfill in 2025 will not be prevented. As the movement to prevent and solve global environmental problems increases, institutions, companies and individuals are increasingly interested in ‘Upcycle environmenal design’ that considers nature and composes spaces. This study explores solutions to environmental problems caused by waste, focusing on upcycle products and describes the uniform characteristics and effects of upcycle products shown through the analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, upcycle products are not only treating waste but also protecting the environment at another level. Second, manufacturing upcycle products that take advantage of the original characteristics of packaging material. And third, drawing economic profits from upcycle products as well as the environment. The development of upcycle products according to social consciousness is creating a new environmental design for the surrounding environment(architecture, landscaping, interior, etc) and the movement to think and protect the environment leads to many changes in individual lives beyond institutions and companies. As the movement for environmental protection is expected to become more activement the outlook for upcycle products is also expected to rise further.

        기후변화를 비롯한 다양한 환경문제로 인하여 환경 교육의 중요성이 증가되고 있다. 환경 교육 을 위한 식물 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 초등학생 121명에게 적용한 후 환경친화적 태도와 식물친숙도를 평가하였다. 식물 환경교육 프로그램에 대해서는 전체적으로 만족도가 높았으며, 프로그램 시간, 강사, 내용, 장소 등이 만족도에 영향을 미쳤다. 초등학생들은 프로그램 참여 의 사가 높으며, 만족도와 참여 의사는 높은 상관관계가 있었다. 프로그램을 수행하지 않은 학생과 비교하면 식물교육 프로그램의 효과로 환경 지식습득, 기분개선이 높게 분석되어 식물 교육 프 로그램은 환경에 대한 인식의 제고에 긍정적 효과가 있다. 환경친화적 태도의 하위 영역인 환경 보호와 환경오염에 대한 인식에서 효과가 있으며, 학년이 낮을수록 교육에 의한 차이가 있었다. 저학년부터 다양한 환경 교육 활동을 경험하게 되면 환경 감수성이 향상될 것으로 기대된다. 식 물 교육활동은 식물 친숙도에 긍정적 효과가 있으며, 인지적 측면에서 지식습득의 효과 뿐 아니 라 정서적 측면의 향상에도 유리하다. 환경친화적 태도와 식물친숙도 향상에 효과가 있는 식물 교육프로그램의 참여도 향상을 위해서는 만족도를 제고해야 하며, 이를 위해서는 프로그램 시 간, 강사, 내용 등의 운영 및 구성이 중요할 것으로 판단된다.

        To investigate the effect of thinning intensity on environmental factors and ectomycorrhizal mushroom fruiting in forest ecosystems, we studied canopy closure, throughfall, soil temperature, soil moisture, light response of understory vegetation, and ectomycorrhizal mushroom fruiting in a 10-year-old pine forest after 34%, 45%, and 60% thinning. Canopy closure was significantly higher in the 34% treatment and control plots, ranging from 80–85% in April. However, in November, all thinning treatment plots showed a decrease of approximately 5–10% compared with the control plot. The 60% treatment plot had over 200 mm of additional throughfall compared with the control plot, and monthly throughfall was significantly higher by more than 100 mm in October. The soil temperature in each treatment plot increased significantly by up to 1°C or more compared with the control plot as the thinning rate increased. The soil moisture increased by more than 5% in the thinning treatment plots during rainfall, particularly in the 34% treatment plot, where the rate of moisture decrease was slower. The photosynthetic rate of major tree species (excluding Pinus densiflora)was highest in Quercus mongolica, with a rate of 7 μmolCO2·m-2·s-1. At a lightintensity of 800 μmol·m-2·s-1, Q. mongolica showed the highest photosynthetic level of 6 ± 0.3 μmolCO2·m-2·s-1 in the 45% treatment. The photosynthetic rate of Fraxinus sieboldiana and Styrax japonicus increased as the thinning intensity increased. The Shannon– Wiener index of mycorrhizal mushrooms did not significantly differ among treatments, but the fresh weight of mushrooms was approximately 360–840 g higher in the 34% and 45% treatments than in the control. Additionally, the fresh weight of fungi in the 60% treatment was 860 g less than that in the control. There were more individuals of Amanita citrina in the control than in the thinning treatment, while Suillus bovinus numbers increased by more than 10 times in the 34% thinning treatment compared with the control.

        Targeting Microcystin (MC), which is most abundantly detected in the North-Han River water area, we analyzed the relationship between the MC biosynthesis gene (mcyA gene), cyanobacteria cell density, and MC concentration, derived an RNA-MC conversion formula, and derived the cyanobacteria. The concentration of MC present in cells was predicted. In the North-Han River waters, the mcyA gene was found mainly at downstream sites of the North-Han River after Muk-Hyeon Stream junction, and higher copy numbers were found on average than other sites. In the Uiam Lake waters upstream of the North-Han River, the mcyA gene copy number increased at the Kong-Ji Stream point, and after September, the mcyA gene copy number decreased throughout the North-Han River waters. The expression of the mcyA gene was concentrated in the short period of summer due to the spatio-temporal difference between upstream and downstream water bodies. The mcyA gene expression level was not only highly correlated with MC concentration, but also correlated with the cell density of Microcystis aeruginosa and Dolichospermum circinale, which are known to biosynthesize MC. Six conversion formulas derived based on the RNA-MC relationship showed statistical significance (p<0.05) and exhibited high correlation coefficients (r) of 0.9 or higher. The expression level of MC biosynthesis gene present in eRNA determines the synthesis of cyanotoxin substances in water, quickly quantifies gene activity, and can be fully utilized for early warning of MC development.

        남북관계는 여전히 교착되어 있다. 본 연구는 기후변화 시대를 맞아 남북 기후변화 공동대응을 위한 정책적 시사점을 전달하는 것에 목적을 둔다. 본 연구는 텍스트마이닝을 통해 북한의 기후변화 관련 보도를 분 석하였다. 분석 결과, 북한의 기후변화 대응은 국제협력과 지속적으로 연 계되고 있다는 점을 파악했고, 북한의 국제사회 발표자료를 중심으로 질 적연구를 진행하여 그 논의를 검증하는 절차를 거쳤다. 북한은 국제협력 을 통해 기후변화에 대응하고자 하며, 산림보호를 통한 기후변화 대응을 강조하고 있다. 따라서 남북 기후변화 공동대응을 위해서는 우선적으로 남북산림협력을 통한 노력이 요구된다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 김정은 시기 북한의 산림 논의와 북한 산림 보도의 특징을 분석하기 위해 텍스 트마이닝을 다시 수행하며 남북교류협력 추진을 위한 시사점을 도출하였 다. 이를 통해, 본 연구는 국제사회의 대북제재로 인해 남북협력의 한계 가 있는 현 상황에서, 실현가능한 협력사업으로 인도주의적 사업과 역량 강화, 능력배양 사업을 제언하였다.

        Recently, local studies looking at the 'local(region) as a whole' are gradually increasing. The study of local architectural history is important in that it provides specific information that encompasses the local and the entire and clues to three-dimensionalize the time and space in the local. To infer the 'presentness' of each era, reliable data in various fields are needed. Recently, as many databases (DB) and archives, from the 'National Archives of Korea' to other local archives, have been established and publicized, research resources in the local are growing rapidly in quantity and quality. Nevertheless, it is difficult to comprehensively check the data necessary to study the local architectural history(local architectural history research resources). Against this background, this study confirmed the trend of changes in the archive construction environment and the status and problems of local architectural history research resources in places that currently disclose local history research resources among generalized web-archives. Next, the relationship between the actual research on local architectural history was confirmed through the analysis of existing studies and the data used for Jeju. As a result, local studies, local archives, and local architectural history research agree with recent changes in local research trends, and the degree of archival construction has reached the same level as the available research resources except core data in local architectural history research. However, there is a problem that the density of information that can be used is low because the local architectural history research resources that can be obtained are fragmented because there are no archives and construction entities specialized in local architecture. As each archive has entered the stabilization and upgrading stage, the construction of new archives needs to be reconsidered, but it is time to find a detailed way to link related information quickly and accurately, such as private records, to reduce the gap in information needed in terms of research on local architecture and architecture history.

        본 연구는 2019년부터 2021년 9월까지 수집된 홀스타인 젖소 19,930두의 자료를 수집하였으며, 3 SD (Standard Deviation, SD) 범위에서 벗어나는 이상치를 제외한, 8,675두를 분석에 이용하였다. 자료분석은 Statistical Analysis System (SAS) 9.4 software를 사용하였고, 뒷유방높이, 뒷유방너비, 유방깊이, 유두길이 및 유두둘레의 실측치를 사용하였다. 그리고 뒷유방높이, 뒷유방너비, 유방깊이, 유두길이 및 유두둘레의 실측치와 산차, 305일 유량, 비유단계 및 착유속도의 환경요인의 효과를 추정하였다. 산차와 유량이 증가함에 따라 뒷유방너비, 유두길이 및 유두둘레의 실측치는 유의적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며(p < 0.0001), 비유단계에 따라서 뒷유방너비 및 유방깊이의 실측치는 비유단계가 증가할수록 유의적으로 감소하는 것으로 나타났다(p < 0.0001). 각 환경효과에 따른 유방형질 실측치의 표현형 상관의 결과에서는 뒷유방너비와 유방깊이 실측치가 산차 및 유량수준에 대해 높은 상관을 나타냈으며, 특히, 유방형질 중 유방깊이 실측치와 산차에 대해 -0.40 ~ -0.67로 높은 음(-)의 상관을 보였다. 본 연구 결과로 미루어 볼 때, 유방형질이 유생산에 밀접한 관련이 있는 만큼 중요한 형질로 취급되어야 하며, 이들의 기초연구와 함께 유전적 특성을 구명하는 등 더 많은 연구가 수행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

        본 연구의 목적은 스마트시티 구축의 핵심인 수소연료전지의 활용형태를 분석하고 해결방안을 제시하는 것이다. 수소연료전지를 활용하는 발전소의 경우 간헐성 문제가 없다는 장점 때문에 향후 가장 유망한 사용 형태로 분석됐다. 다만 많은 장점에도 불구하고 폭발 우려와 특정 수소 생산방식의 경우 이산화탄소 발생 문제 등으로 지역주민들의 반발이 지속적 으로 나타나고 있어 이를 해결하는 것이 스마트시티 구축의 주요 관건이 될 것으로 분석된다. 마지막으로 현재의 수소 생산 방식을 분석하고 이에 따른 문제점을 파악하여 스마트시티의 완전한 구축을 위한 해결책을 제시하였다.

        This study investigated the effect of the simulated refrigerated distribution environment on the quality characteristics of green lettuce and ground meat. The simulated refrigerated distribution conditions were as follows: (A) the door was not opened while storing the product in the refrigerator, (B) the door was opened for 20 s every 10 min, and (C) the door was opened for 1 min every 10 min (C). In A, B, and C conditions, the bottom temperature was higher, and the average temperature and temperature deviation of the inside of the packaging box, green lettuce, and ground meat increased according to door opening time. According to simulated refrigerated distribution conditions, food qualities such as browning index, total chlorophyll content, and vitamin C content in green lettuce, moisture content, water holding capacity, and volatile basic nitrogen in ground meat were changed.

        The external weather conditions including temperature and wind speed in the Saemangeum reclaimed land is different from that of the inland, affecting the internal environment of the greenhouse. Therefore, it is important to select an appropriate covering material considering the insulation effect according to the type and characteristics of the covering material considering the weather condition in the Saemangeum reclaimed land. A hexahedral insulation chamber was designed to evaluate the insulation efficiency of each glass-clad material in the outside weather condition in reclaimed land. In order to evaluate the insulation effect of each covering material, a radiator was installed and real-time power consumption was monitored. 16-mm PC (polycarbonate), 16-mm PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), 4-mm greenhouse glass, and 16-mm double-layered glass were used as the covering materials of the chamber. In order to understand the effect of the external wind directions, the windward and downwind insulation properties were evaluated. As a result of comparing the thermal insulation effect of each greenhouse cover material to single-layer glass, the thermal insulation effect of double-layer glass was 16.9% higher, while PMMA and PC were 62.5% and 131.2% higher respectively. On average the wind speed on the windward side was 53.1% higher than that on the lee-wind side, and the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the chamber at the wind ward side was found to be 52.0% larger than that on the lee ward side. During the experiment period, the overall heating operation time for PC was 39.2% lower compared to other insulation materials. Showing highest energy efficiency, and compared to PC, single-layer glass power consumption was 37.4% higher.

        Environmental noise occurring on ships has various negative impacts on sailors’ health conditions such as hearing loss, sleep disturbance, psychological stress, etc., so regulations on them are required, but the ship noise regulations are usually applied to only large merchant ships. Although regulations on fishing boats with strong fishing and work intensity are determined to be necessary, there has been little relevant research. This study, therefore, attempted to measure the environmental noise of coastal composite fishing vessels less than two tones and provide the results of basic research on the noise regulations for fishing vessels. It measured them by setting the measurement zones as after side, midship and fore side, and based on the criterion of IMO MSC 337(91). The findings showed that the noise of them often exceeded 75dB(A), the criterion of the open deck noise in the zones in which the load of main engines was increased. In particular, the noise of the stern was as high as 92.2dB(A) during the full ahead. Hence, hearing loss may be caused by such a noise, so a variety of regulations on it are determined to be necessary.

        2000년 이후 급격한 생활환경의 변화와 근래에 발생한 예측 불가능한 전염병 등의 영향으로 국내․외의 여행과 이동을 자제하고 건강을 위한 야외활동은 기존에 조성되어 온 유명한 둘레길, 숲길 등의 공익적 가치가 더욱 중요하게 부각되고 있다. 본 연구는 CVM을 활용하여 충청도와 경상도를 가로지르는 숲길을 연결하는 가칭 ‘동서트레일’에 대한 환경적 가치를 추정하였다. 연구는 동서트레일을 방문한 탐방객을 대상으로 하였으며, 723부를 분석에 이용하였다. 조사대상지 를 방문한 응답자의 기본적인 이용행태는 주 2-3회 정도 운동하는 건강에 관심이 많은 사람들이며, 거주지에서 멀지 않은 곳의 숲길을 친구나 가족들과 방문하고, 1회 방문 시 약 5만원 이상을 소비하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 둘레길을 방문할 때 숲길코스에 대한 안내판이 부족하다는 것을 느끼고 있으며, 적절한 장소에 쉼터를 설치해 주기를 원하는 것으로 나타났다. 동서트레일의 보존가치를 추정하기 위한 방법은 Hanemann식 이중경계 로짓모형을 이용하였다. 동서트레일 방문자가 1회 방문 시 얻을 수 있는 환경적 가치는 30,087원으로 추정할 수 있었다. 추정된 금액을 동서트레 일 인근 직접이용권에 속한 인구로 환산하면 동서트레일의 연간 환경가치는 약 940억원으로 추정할 수 있다. CVM을 이용한 숲길에 대한 환경의 가치추정에 대한 연구는 현재까지 진행된 적이 없으며, 추정된 연구 결과는 국가 숲길 정책에 대한 타당성을 제시해 줄 수 있을 것이다.
