        The purpose of this study is to execute the investigation of injurious factors causing muscle-skeletal diseases at an automotive glass manufacturing company and, on the basis of the results, to enhance productivity by the improvement of working environment. By using an survey and an ergonomic evaluation method, symptoms of muscle-skeletal diseases of workers and working postures at each process were analyzed, and quantitative evaluation of muscle-skeletal disease risk against each process was performed. Based on the result of the evaluation, to enhance the working environment, improvement of worktable, working space, tools, and outfit was suggested, and induction of mechanical system was also suggested. Suggested improvement plan was applied to the workplace step by step and it is confirmed that improvement plan not only removes the injurious factors of muscle-skeletal diseases but also is effective to enhance productivity.

        This paper concerned with design of constant stress accelerated lift test(ALT). Becase a major factor to affect a life of automotive V-ribbed belts is a temperature, we selected a temperature as a accelerated fator to perform a test. Acclelerated life test plans were developed with the assumption of weibull lifetime distribution. The genreal value of beta parameter was accepted in this life test (β=1.1). The sample number was calculated by alpha parameter which was induced by beta.

        Resource recovery and recycling of materials and products, including polyurethanes is viewed as a necessity in today's society. Most urethane polymers are made from a polyol and a diisocyanate. these and be chemicals such as water, diamines or diols that react with isocyanate groups and add to the polymer backbone. The problems of recycling polyurethane wastes has major technological, economic and ecological significance because polyurethane itself is relatively expensive and its disposal whether by burning is also costly. In general, the recycling methods for polyurethane could be classified as mechanical, chemical and feedstock. In the chemical recycling method, there are hydrolysis, glycolysis, pyrolysis and aminolysis. This study, the work was carried out glycolysis using sonication ant catalyzed reaction. Different kinds of recycled polyols were produced by current method(glycolysis), catalyzed reaction and sonication as decomposers and the chemical properties were analyzed. The reaction results in the formation of polyester urethane diols, the OH value which is determined by the quantity of diol used for the glycolysis conditions. The glycolysis rates by sonication for the various glycols, increased as fallows: PPG <PEG < DEG < EG. The recycled polyol of sonication reaction had much higher OH value, much lower decomposition temperature and time than the recycled polyol of current method in which same glycols and catalyst were used.

        운전자의 안전과 감성적 요구사항이 중요시 되는 차세대 자동차의 IP(Instrument Panel) 설계를 위해 운전자으 인지특성을 고려하였다. 오디어 유닛과 HVAC(Heat, Ventilation and Air Condition)등의 주요 IP 구성요소 설계에 중점을 두었으며, 운전자의 인지특성과 가장부합하는 형태의 IP를 도출하기 위해 인지실험을 실시하였다. 첫 번째로, 기존의 차량에 설계된 IP 궁성요소를 분석하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 버튼의 수와 배열, LCD패널의 위치등을 조합하여 총 16개의 IP 프로토타입을 제작하였다. 다음으로, 제작된 프로타입을 각각 0.2, 0.4, 0.6초의 간격으로 Tachisto scope를 이용하여 피실험자에게 제시한후, 인간의 인지 지도(Human cognitive Map)에 근거한 '그리가 방법(Drawing Method)'을 이용하여 그들의 단기기억(Short-term Memory)상의 정보를 주어진 답안지에 그리도록 하였다. 이 인지실험의 다구찌 분석을 통하여 운전자의 인지특성을 고려한 최적의 IP형태를 제시하였다.

        The objective of this research is to examine the factors affecting the decision-making of International Commercial Terms (Incoterms) of automotive parts manufacturers in Thailand. This mixed method study applied qualitative and quantitative research methods and utilized the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) to prioritize the significance of the factors. By an in-depth literature review and expert interview, four main criteria were identified. These criteria include Operating costs, Cooperation and bargaining power, Knowledge and understanding and Operation duration then main criteria divided into fifteen sub-criteria. The common Incoterms, Ex Works (EXW), Free On Board (FOB), Free Carrier (FCA), and Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF), were determined as alternatives to the incoterms through a preliminary survey. The results revealed that the operating costs were the most important factor for the company. Moreover, it was discovered that this was consistent with the priority of the secondary factors, which included the annual budget for the transportation expenses and product value at one time. The respondents’ perspective suggested that FCA was the most appropriate Incoterms for international trade for a company. The findings of this research suggest a hierarchy model for organizations to prioritize the significant factors in order to make a decision on the most appropriate Incoterms.

        The aim of this research is to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of automotive parts suppliers while departing from the dependent relationship structure, by developing and interpreting factors that affect sale, which are financial achievements, in a practical way. The research data covered 200 companies from 2013-2017. The study hypothesis was verified by dividing the hypothesis into Model1 with control variables only and Model2 with control variables in independent variables. As a result of hypothesis testing, regarding sales, only capital size showed to have an effect in Model1, while in Model2, asset size, number of employees and joint ventures with foreign companies did but the other remaining factors did not. In particular, the results showed that an increase in financial performance required ‘Economies of scale’, and that companies that concentrated on a small number of items, diversified products into four or more items, or owned two to four suppliers, reaped positive results in financial performance. Therefore, in addition to the selection and concentration of corporate management for production items and account management, applying strategies, like the inter-company M&A, consortiums and co-branded strategies to achieve ‘Economy of scale’, would highly enhance the financial performance of automotive parts suppliers.

        The study aims to investigate corporate social responsibility (CSR) best practices of the world automotive industry - Peugeot, BMW, Ford, Hyundai and Toyota among others – and recommend that they plan their business strategies and managerial responses accordingly. Based on the comparative research and case studies, this research finds that all five automobile manufacturers have taken very similar measures and actions in order to establish and maintain a high level of CSR practices. Sustainability was a core value in all five companies and served as a guiding principle in every aspect and approach of their business. This study finds that all five companies have CSR strategies in place to increase energy efficiency as well as reduce the usage and wastage of water in their production and plants. This research also finds that all companies monitor their suppliers and their own production process to ensure that they maintain their CSR standards. More impressively, this sustainable management practice is transferred along the companies’ supply chain through education and training. Their suppliers and business partners are closely monitored to make sure that their high CSR standards are respected and followed. However, we find that there also are some differences in terms of their CSR deliveries and activities.

        Domestic automotive shredder residue (ASR) recycling facilities must comply with 60% of the energy recovery criteria calculated by the waste control act, based on resource circulation of electrical and electronic equipment and vehicles. The method of calculating energy recovery criteria was newly enacted on November 6, 2017, and it has been judged that it is necessary to consider applicability. In this study, the energy recovery efficiency of 7 units was calculated by past and present calculation methods. Furthermore, this study attempts to find applicability and a method of increasing the energy recovery efficiency by taking advantage of available potentials. An analysis of the calculation results showed that the average values calculated by past methods, present methods, and the method that includes available potentials are 76.35%, 70.68%, and 78.24%, respectively. Therefore, the new calculation method for energy recovery efficiency is also applicable to domestic automotive shredder residue recycling facilities.
