This study was to investigate the association among satisfaction of nutrition labeling, change of purchase behaviors, and dietary life care, based on the awareness of nutrition labeling at expressway rest areas. The subjects (n=903) were divided into two groups, according to the awareness of nutrition labeling: Awareness of Nutrition Labeling (ANL) group, n=367; Non Awareness of Nutrition Labeling (NANL) group, n=536. Effort of health care and identification of nutrition labeling was significantly higher in the ANL group, compared with the NANL group. As for the main reason for not identifying nutrition labeling, ‘not interested in nutrition labeling’ was the highest in the ANL group, and ‘Don't know nutrition labeling is provided’ in the NANL group. Identification ratio of nutrition labeling in future was significantly higher in the NANL group, compared with the ANL group among the subjects who didn't identify nutrition labeling before. After their becoming aware, a change of food purchase after reading the nutrition labeling was significantly higher in the ANL group, compared with the NANL group. Health beliefs on the nutrition labeling were significantly higher in the ANL group, compared with the NANL group. Satisfaction of nutrition labeling was also significantly higher in the ANL group, compared with the NANL group. The ANL group also expressed a necessity of expansion of nutrition labeling, compared with the NANL group. In the ANL group, identification of nutrition labeling was significantly higher in the hard effort group, compared with the little effort group of dietary life care. Therefore, improvement and campaign of nutrition labeling for consumers at expressway rest areas, especially for the NANL group, will be effective in identifying nutrition labeling for their health care.
천연기념물은 역사와 자연적 가치가 있는 자연유산으로 희귀성, 특수성, 역사성 등 학술 가치가 커 자연문화재로 지정 및 보호됐으나 최근에는 삶의 질 향상에 따른 국민의 문화생활에 대한 욕구를 충족시키는 것도 천연기념물 관리의 주요한 임무가 되었다. 이를 위해 내장산국립공원에 소재하고 있는 천연기념물 제91호 내장산 굴거리나무군락과 제153 호 장성 백양사 비자나무 숲을 대상으로 천연기념물의 지속 가능한 보전 및 이용 측면에서 방문객의 천연기념물에 대한 기본적 인식을 살펴보고 천연기념물 인식수준에 따른 자연에 대한 태도 차이를 분석하였다. 내장산국립공원 방문객 240명에 대한 설문조사 분석 결과, 응답자의 절반 이상이 대상지의 천연기념물을 정확히 인식하지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 굴거리나무군락의 인지도가 상대적으로 비자나무 숲보다 더 낮았다. 또한, 천연기념물에 대한 인식수준이 높고, 문화재적 가치 수준이 높다고 인식한 집단의 자연에 대한 태도가 그렇지 않은 집단보다 긍정적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 향후 이 지역의 천연기념물 활용방안 수립을 위한 정책시사점을 제안하였다.
The people who are in the noise factory are difficult to hear and recognize about fire and to evacuate quickly when a fire occurs. This study was conducted to analyze workplace’s background noise of 31 factories in Incheon and to know the workplace noise level comparing to fire alarm sound level. The measured average noise level was 96.8dB(A). Noise level of measured result was exceeded as 6.8dB(A) comparing to NFSC (National Fire Safety Code) noise level of 90dB. NFPA suggests that when background noise exceeds 85dB or more than that, other methods should be considered to know alarm sound. Also fire alarm sound should exceed more than 15dB(A) comparing to background noise level. Therefore it was concluded that the design of the fire alarm systems should not be applied to the workplace without considering background noise and it needs to be improved with regulations and the systems.
본 연구는 국유림 참여경영에 대한 인식분석을 위하여 산림참여에 관한 선행연구를 분석하였으며, 또 한 선행 연구에서 자료가 미비한 일반국민의 국유림 참여경영에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 선행연구 분석 결과, 참여 산림경영의 문제점으로 개인, 기업, 그리고 시민단체는 대부분 정부의 다양한 정보제 공과 권유의 부족, 제도의 불안정을 지적하였으며, 정부는 일반국민들의 무관심과 복잡한 법률체계 등 을 지적하였다. 또한 설문조사는 일반국민 총 150명을 대상으로 2015년 4월 2주간 2차례 실시하였고, 설문 문항은 국유림 참여경영에 대한 인식, 참여 의향, 참여 형태, 참여단계, 일반국민·기업·시민단체 의 국유림 경영사업 참여시 문제점 및 해결방안 등 총 16문항으로 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 여러 이해당 사자의 국유림 경영 참여시 문제점에 대해서는 일반국민의 경우‘무관심(29.5%)’이 가장 높은 응답률을 보였고, 기업의 경우는‘자사 이기주의(31.5%)’, 시민단체의 경우는‘전문성 결여(32.9%)’가 높은 응답 률을 나타냈으며, 여러 이해당사자의 효율적인 국유림 경영 참여 방안에 대해서는 일반국민의 경우‘대 국민 국유림 경영 관련 정보 제공(30.0%)’이, 기업의 경우‘협력시스템 구축(26.0%)’이, 시민단체의 경 우‘시민단체의 전문자문/세미나 활성화(32.9%)’가 높은 응답률을 나타냈다.
We are aimed to conduct the survey research to evaluate the university students's awareness pn the care systems of abandoned animals. We deals with the findings obtained from extensive interviews with a representative samples. The objectives of interviews included 546 students in Wonkwang, Keimyung and Chosun University. Questions focused on how students were recognized the need and policies of the care systems of the abandoned animals. Questionnaire and technical data are analysed and summarized.
As the results of the survey research, the objectives of interviews had well understood about the policies of adoption of the abandoned animals.
Conclusionally, the promotions of adoption of the abandoned animals were need. The effective promotions of the adoption of the abandoned animals will be desirable for the establishment of abandoned animal welfare.
The study was carried out to investigate the efficacy of current nutrition labeling of processed foods and examine awareness among university students of nutrition information given current nutrition labels, and also awareness of the one-serving size of snacks that come in differently sized packages. A total of 100 students in Chungbuk, Korea participated in this study. About 60% of the subjects knew about nutrition labeling; however, a very small percentage (11%) of the subjects reported an experience of being educated about nutrition labeling. Also, just 32% of the students checked nutrition labels when they purchased processed foods. When understanding of nutrition information on labels of snacks in differently sized packaging was tested, over 80% of the subjects understood nutrition information accurately. Five different package sizes were studied. Of these 5, packages containing about 200% of one standard serving showed the highest rate of misunderstanding of total energy contents per container. Interestingly, the students most strongly preferred containers that contained 300% of one standard serving. From these results, we conclude that students consider the current recommendation for a serving size to be small, which may be related to misreading of nutrition labels of snacks that come in packages containing less than 300% of one standard serving size. To improve accurate understanding of nutrition labels of snacks, total package labels or dual column labels on packages containing less than 300% of one standard serving size should be considered.
The aim of this study was to investigate school dieticians’ awareness of the necessity for nutritional education and job satisfaction via qualitative research. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were carried out with 10 school dieticians. Results revealed that all participants said that schools urgently need nutritional education, and dietary attitude and unbalanced eating habits were the most urgent matters to be addressed. They made various suggestions related to revitalization of nutritional education: turning dieticians into nutritional educators, improving awareness of teachers and parents, receiving training on appropriate teaching methods, and so on. In response to their tasks, they considered bargaining with vendors and examination foods as the most burdensome tasks. In response to questions about how participants were treated in their workplaces, all participants reported low job satisfaction due to excessive work, lack of promotion opportunities, and low salary. To improve this, participants recommended creating a task manual, strengthening their role as managers, increasing their salary, and so on. Therefore, institutional support is necessary for dieticians to efficiently handle their excessive workload. In addition, an educational environment where dieticians can effectively carry out nutritional education needs to be created.
This research was conducted to examine the awareness and preference levels related to MSG (monosodium glutamate) according to well-being dietary life pursuit attitude factors as well as to improve opportunities to meet value conscious consumption of well-being-oriented customers. According to well-being dietary life pursuit attitude factors, respondents were divided to three clusters, indifference type, well-being-oriented type, and active health action type. Sensory evaluations were carried out on soybean paste soup (Doenjang-guk) and seasoned spinach with different levels of MSG. In the results, 74.4% of all respondents preferred Doenjang soup with 2% MSG, 65.4% preferred seasoned spinach with the same ratio of MSG, and 35.9% preferred seasoned spinach with 0.5% MSG. Regarding the acceptance level of MSG, addition of MSG to improve taste was acceptable to the indifference type (cluster 1). On the contrary, active health action type did not prefer MSG, wanted natural seasonings despite high prices, and preferred to dine at restaurants that serve MSG-free foods. Based on this study, restaurant companies should segment their customers on the basis of MSG usage and establish their positioning strategies according to their concepts.
본 연구는 야생조수(황새)보호지역에 사는 주민들의 환경적 인식에 관한 연구이다. 연구방법은 문화인류학적 접근방법의 하나인 심층인터뷰 방식에 의존했으며, 연구대상지는 경상북도 금위군 효령면 금매리이다. 연구의 주된 내용은 환경적 인식에 대한 문화적 구조를 밝혀내는 것이다. 연구의 결과는 황새에 대한 생태적, 긍정적, 부정적, 문화 생태적 관점에서 보면 다음과 같다. 첫 번째는 주민들은 황새의 먹이공급처, 종의 변화, 개체군, 이주, 생육, 서식처 그리고 예측 등의 생활에 대하여 예상을 넘어설 만큼 구체적으로 알고 있었다. 두 번째는 주민들의 긍정적 존재감과 마을에 대한 자부심을 가지고 있었다. 세 번째는 소음, 악취 그리고 수목에 대한 피해 등 환경적 불편함을 경험하고 있었다. 특이한 조수의 이동을 통해 주민들이 하루, 일년, 계절의 시간 변화를 인식하는데 매우 민감했다. 또한 조수의 이동 현상을 통해 그들은 계절에 대한 일기를 미리 예측을 하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 황새 서식지에 대한 문화생태적 관점에서 보았을 때 황새의 존재적 인식, 위계적 인식, 의미부여적 인식 등으로 구분하여 황새의 서식지에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 비록 황새가 환경문제를 어느 정도 유발하고 있지만 마을 공동체의 중요한 일원으로 인식되고 있음을 알 수 있었다.
Research in foreign accent has reported various factors of accentedness. However, very little attention has been given to the relationship between L2 speakers’ accentedness and their awareness of, or sensitivity to, L2 phonological system. The present study aims to explore the relationship between ESL learners’ phonological awareness, as measured by several tasks, and their accentedness, as rated by native speakers of English. Twelve advanced adult ESL speakers participated in seven tasks purported to tap into their sensitivity to English sounds and sound structures. They also read an English passage, and four native speakers rated their foreign accentedness on a 9-point scale. The learners showed individual differences in their phonological awareness despite the fact that they were from an intact class presumably at the same proficiency level. They also exhibited varying degrees of foreign accent. Correlational analyses revealed that in general there was a nonsignificant correlation between the learners’ L2 phonological awareness and their accentedness, and that the awareness did not seem to have translated into L2 production. The study addresses some methodological and procedural issues that suggest crucial points for refinement of the phonological awareness tasks and the L2 speech data collection method.
The study examined the relationship between workers’safety awareness, safety performance and the components of the intelligent image analysis system in accordance with preventing the workers from safety hazard in dangerous working area. Based on the safety performance model, we include safety knowledge, safety motivation, safety compliance and safety participation, and we also define three additional factors of the intelligent image analysis system such as functional feature, penalty and incentive by using factor analysis. SEM(Structural Equation Modeling) analyses on the data from the total of 73 workers showed that functional feature of intelligent analysis system and incentive were positively related to safety knowledge and safety motivation. And mediation effects of the relationship were verified to safety compliance and safety participation through safety knowledge as well.
The study was conducted with statical analysis of data (828 data in 2010, 752 data in 2012, 648 data in 2014) in order to evaluate laboratory awareness difference of research employees working in different types of universities.
Results of the study were as follows: First, university institutes in the order of polytechnic colleges, university, and junior college showed the highest laboratory safety awareness in 'awareness and education of laboratorial safety regulation' and 'awareness in laboratory risk factors'. Second, the difference in safety awareness of universities by year(years that conducted current status survey) was the highest in year 2014, then in 2010, and in 2008. Third, the difference of research employees working for laboratory safety management by year(years that conducted current status) showed that university had the highest laboratory safety awareness in year 2010, but it changed to polytechnic colleges in year 2012 and 2014.

본 연구는 가정폭력 가해자를 대상으로 한 가정폭력 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하는 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 가정폭력 프로그램의 개입 효과성을 검증하기 위해 갈등, 폭력, 분노, 의사소통, 자아인식이 프로그램 전과 후에 어떤 변화를 보이고 있는지를 분석하였다. 그 결과 갈등, 폭력, 분노, 부정적 의사소통 변인은 사후 점수가 사전 점수보다 더 낮게 나타났으며, 자기 자신과 긍정적 의사소통 변인은 사후 점수가 사전 점수보다 더 높게 나타났다. 각 변인들의 사전, 사후 점수의 유의성을 분석한 결과, 갈등과 자기 자신, 긍정적 의사소통이 유의미한 통계적 결과를 도출하였다. 프로그램 종료 후 대다수 연구 참여자들은 가정폭력 프로그램이 행동 변화, 신체적 폭력 행사, 가정에서의 노력 등에 있어 긍정적인 변화를 경험했다고 응답했다. 이러한 결과는 가해자 대상 가정폭력 프로그램이 연구 참여자의 부정적 변인들의 수준을 낮추고, 긍정적 변인들을 수준을 높이며 행동 변화로까지 연결됨을 의미하는 것이다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구는 가정폭력 프로그램에 대한 구체적 제언을 제시하였다.
본 연구는 야생동물의 존재에 대한 인식 및 야생동물의 종류에 따라 국립공원 방문객의 휴양경험의 종류 및 질에 차이가 있는지를 알아보기 위해 시행되었다. 연구대상지역은 지리산국립공원이며 2014년 5-6월 중, 성삼재 휴게소와 노고단 대피소 이용객을 대상으로 편의 추출된 502명과 전남대학교 대학생을 대상으로 편의 추출된 173명의 표본으로부터 모의조작 사진(곰과 고라니)과 자기기입식 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 전반적으로 국립공원 내 서식 야생동물의 존재에 대한 인지에 따른 장소 속성에 대한 지각(혼잡성, 자연성, 안전성) 및 휴양경험의 종류에 차이가 없었다. 그러나 반달곰의 존재에 대한 인지도가 높은 그룹은 낮은 그룹에 비해 지리산국립공원이 '야생' 또는 ‘자연경험’에 더 가까운 휴양기회를 제공한다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 야생동물의 종류에 따라서 장소속성에 대한 지각과 응답자가 느끼는 휴양경험의 종류에도 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 곰 또는 고라니 노출 그룹이 컨트롤 그룹에 비해 ‘야생’에 더 가까운 휴양경험을 느꼈다. 국립공원 내 야생동물의 존재는 응답자의 휴양경험의 질에 긍정적 작용을 하는 것으로 나타났으며 야생동물의 종류에 따라서도 응답자가 느끼는 휴양경험의 질에 차이가 있었다. 본 연구의 결과에 대한 시사점을 국립공원 야생동물의 관리적 관점에서 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of awareness and knowledge of the efficacy of carbonated water on consumption patterns and satisfaction for college students, who are the principal consumers of carbonated water. A survey was conducted with 502 college students in the Metropolitan area from May 13 to 18, 2015 and 455 questionnaires were analyzed. As for the differences in awareness and knowledge of the efficacy of carbonated water according to gender, females (14.60 and 0.76) had better awareness and knowledge than males (13.40 and 0.58) (p=0.000 and p=0.036). The more positive the awareness of carbonated water, the greater the knowledge (p=0.000); the greater the knowledge of carbonated water, the higher level of consumption satisfaction (p=0.006). The odds ratio of awareness for carbonated water was 11.98; that is, positive awareness led to higher levels of satisfaction than negative awareness (p=0.003). Since awareness of the efficacy of carbonated water was found to affect carbonated water drinking and satisfaction, it is necessary to provide correct information about the efficacy of carbonated water.
In the present study, we conducted in-depth interviews with school dieticians and nutrition teachers to determine the local foods they were aware of and their experiences with local foods. We also aimed to obtain more detailed measures for local food vitalization and suggestions for improvements. In-depth interviews were performed with 8 school dieticians and nutrition teachers, who stated that local food vitalization was needed for school food services, because it could be a foundation for securing safefood products, student healthi mprovements, environmental protection, and the establishment of a general consumption market. However, they were aware of a higher number of disadvantages than advantages in school situations and indicated the deterioration of the quality of food products as the biggest disadvantage. The most-suggested measurement items for local food vitalization in schools included improvement of the food distribution system, expansion of education, information sharing, prevention of monopolies, improvement of food-product quality, and mass production. In addition, it was suggested that school dieticians and nutrition teachers should invest efforts in the development of excellent recipes and varied diets utilizing local foods. Therefore, system supplementation is urgently required in order for school food service officials, and consumers, to efficiently introduce and vitalize local foods. It is also necessary to foster an environment that encourages trust-based relationships with producers to maximize the effect of system supplementation. This would be the foundation for improving the health of students, improving food-service quality, nutrition management, and vitalization of the regional economy in the future, and will positively affect students’ food consumption patterns even after they become adults.
The authors of this research show that gender plays a role in whether public star ratings of branded content films (e.g., ratings on Rotten Tomatoes) and increased awareness of surroundings differentially affect movie viewers’ willingness to spread word-of-mouth about films. For men, no matter whether they have high or low awareness of surroundings, a higher versus lower star rating uniformly enhances the likelihood they will recommend the film to others. In contrast, for women, momentarily heightened awareness of their surroundings enhances (diminishes) the likelihood of recommending the higher (lower) star-rated film. If women have low awareness of their surroundings, however, the differences do not emerge.
This research examined the effect of social media marketing on college students’ behaviors toward cotton clothing. The results showed that social media marketing had a greater impact on college students than conventional marketing or no marketing. Fashion brands should utilize social media to communicate with college students more effectively.
The purposes of this inquiry were to seek the multicultural awareness of students at homogeneously and heterogeneously populated schools in the Municipality of Sungai Penuh, Jambi, Indonesia. Data were collected through administrating the adapted version of Multicultural Awareness Scale to 334 students from one homogeneously populated senior high school and one heterogeneously populated madrasah aliyah (Islamic senior high school). Data were analyzed by using Rasch Analysis and tests of inferential statistics. The results of data analyses indicated that 1) the students had a relatively high multicultural awarness, 2)the examination on the map of item endorsabilty indicated that the students had high cultural awareness but low self-awareness, 3) the students at the heterogeneously populated madrasah aliyah had a higher multicultural awareness than their counterparts at the homogeneously populated senior high school, and 4) no statistically significant differences were found in the comparisons of the students’ awareness across the demographic variables across and within the same school. Policy implications and suggestions for future research are also discussed.
