        Prestressed concrete PSC girders are efficient in terms of structural performance, economical efficiency and constructability. However, PSC girders have overtuning risk in construction in which extra work needs to protect. The low center of gravity girder (MPC girder) is more stable and easier to construct than the traditional PSC girder, which has tweaked end point and mono-tendon anchor. In this study, we evaluated the structural advantages in the deflection (slope) and stress on the link slab by using the finite element method. As a result, it was found that the reinforcement in the link slab for the bridge continuation may be reduced because of less displacement.

        본 연구에서는 구조용강 시험편 내의 크랙의 성장특성을 주제로 하여 중앙크랙만이 존재하는 시험편과 중앙 크랙의 주변에 대칭으로 구멍들이 존재하는 시험편에 대한 파괴역학적 거동을 규명하고자 하였다. 구조용강으로 만들어진 시험편 내에 두 가지의 조건들을 적용하여 인장실험을 수행하였으며, 이를 통하여 시험편의 응력, Strain energy와 변형량에 대하여 해석하였다. 그리고 이러한 실험값들을 바탕으로 하여 응력확대계수를 구하였으며, 구해진 실험값들의 검증을 위하여 ANSYS 유한요소 해석 프로그램을 사용하여 시뮬레이션 해석을 수행하였다.

        A Korean-designed cruiser class sailing yacht, based on the form of traditional yachts, has been developed. In this paper, structural design procedures for the yacht are studied. The scantling of structural members and loads is carried out based on the guidelines suggested by Australian Standard 4132-1993, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Patran/Nastran finite element analysis is performed on models of the trial sailing boat, and from these results, the structural strength of the ship’s hull is verified.

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural stability of pavement due to water infiltration at the road with infiltration trench as using the FEM(finite element analysis). Five cases for FEM is divided considering the amount of rainfall and rain duration time. The results of FEM show that the more rainfall in a short period time is faster the change of moisture content. Also, it is the proportional relationship between and changing area of moisture content of more than 40% due to rainfall. Case 3 and 4 are necessary to check the installation of infiltration trench because of moisture content of more than 40%, recovery time of initial moisture content, and changing area of more than 40%. Case 1,2, and 5 have no a significant effect on road pavement structure due to lower moisture content and shorter duration time of higher moisture content.

        In recent years, technology has been developed the way the volume of the portable communication device is reduced but its performance is maintained. The COF(Chip On Film) packaging method is used due to the densification of the lead pitch, especially for the display driver IC. During COF packaging, lead break and film detachment could occur by the high bonding temperature and pressure, and possibility for lead interference can emerge by deformation of leads. In this study, a new double-column arrangement of leads is considered to increase lead density further than the existing zigzag arrangement of leads, and nonlinear structural analysis was carried out to examine whether the interference can occur. The results showed that stress and deformation of the corner region appear relatively higher than those of central region, and interference did not occur by the lead strain for the double-column arrangement of leads with pitch of 25μm. Therefore, double-column lead arrangement can improve lead density by about 176% compared to the zigzag lead arrangement

        인양장비는 원자력발전소에서 발생하는 사용후핵연료를 운반하는 운반용기를 인양하기 위해 사용된다. 본 연구는 원자력 안전위원회고시 제2013-27호와 미국 10CFR Part 71 §71.45에서 규정하는 기술수준에 따라 이론적인 방법과 유한요소방법 으로 인양장비의 구조적안전성을 평가하였다. 이론적으로 평가한 결과 모든 구성 요소에서의 응력이 응력제한치 내에 있어 운영상 발생하는 구조적 안전성을 확보하고 있는 것으로 판단하였다. 또한 유한요소해석을 통한 평가결과, 항복과 극한조건 모두에서 설계기준을 만족하는 것으로 평가되었다. 모든 구성요소에서 충분한 안전여유도(항복조건에서 3 이상의 안전율, 극한조건에서 5 이상의 안전율)를 갖는 것으로 나타나 구조적으로 안전하다고 판단하였다.

        In this study, Intersecting Tensegrity System that is integrated solid compression members with tension members was presented. This system is set up by connecting upper and lower compression members of pyramid shape with exterior tension members. In this system, the solid compression members are intersected each other and connected by a tension member in the center. This system is a variation of Tensegrity system, has a improved feature that the system is able to induce prestresses in all of tension members easily by adjusting the distance of a tension member in the center. The proposed system was studied by modeling, and the structural behavior of the system was investigated by mechanical analysis of the model. Furthermore, the features of the structural behavior variations was investigated when the composition elements(total height, size of surface, intersection length, etc.) are changed variously. It was also showed that the system is able to be used as a temporary space structure system with a membrane roof of inverse conical shape.

        PURPOSES: Daejeon is basically divided into an old downtown and a new downtown, and the recent relocation of the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government of Republic of Korea from the old downtown and the opening of governmental buildings in the new downtown as well have made this new downtown only densely populated with industrial and business facilities. Such changes in the downtowns have promoted the conditions of the new downtown while, consequently, dragging down the old downtown. Out of concern for those unbalanced developments of the two downtowns, Daejeon is now carrying out several city projects to revive the old downtown. In the light of that, as a part of the project to promote the old downtown, this study aims to conduct an evaluation on landscape of the culture and arts street in Daeheungdong which was built upon those ideas of a theme street project by Daejeon. METHODS: Based on the findings from the questionnaire not only on the components that would design the streetscape of the culture and arts street but also on the public satisfaction with the streetscape, the study defined how those changes in the components affect emotional factors of the pedestrians. In order to achieve the research goal, the study made changes in D/H ratio of the street structural components as well as the roadside trees. In terms of the questionnaire method, the study used the SD scale, and proceeded with its investigation through the frequency analysis, the principal component analysis (the factor analysis) and the structural equation model. RESULTS : According to the results from the factor analysis and the regression analysis, of those three factors, such as the openness, the comfortable sensation and the safety, the openness followed by the comfortable sensation and the safety was determined to have the most positive influence on the total satisfaction. The structural model analysis reported that the D/H and the structural components of the roadside trees and planting have a positive effect on the emotional image, and this emotional image also appeared to be positively related to the total satisfaction. CONCLUSIONS : This study looked into how the changes in the street structural components of the culture and arts street in Daeheungdong would affect the satisfaction with the streetscape, and finally confirmed that the D/H and the planting are what would have a positive effect on this satisfaction. What has been learned from this study will be the basic data to figure out how to promote and improve the culture and arts street in Daeheung-dong as this data will also help designing and developing of those specialized streets in other regions.

        Osmia cornifrons plays a major role in the pollination of orchards, but basic information on vitellogenin and the oocyte development is limited. To better understand vitellogenin in hymenopteran insects, we cloned a cDNA encoding vitellogenin from the hornfaced bee O. cornifrons. O. cornifrons vitellogenin cDNA contains 5477 bp with an open reading frame of 1,783 amino acid residues, and has a predicted molecular mass of approximately 200.21 kDa and a pI of 6.55. O. cornifrons vitellogenin possesses four consensus (RXXR/S) cleavage sites and has conserved DGXR and GL/ICG motifs in the C-terminus. The deduced amino acid sequence of the O. cornifrons vitellogenin cDNA showed a 66% identity with Megachile rotundata, 53% to Apis mellifera, 51% to Bombus ignitus, and 42%-30% with other hymenopteran insect vitellogenins. Phylogenetic analysis showed that O. cornifrons vitellogenin clustered with vitellogenins from Megachildae, Apidae, Vespidae, and Formicidae species but not with those from Pteromalidae, Aphelinidae or Ichneumonidae species.

        ‘In structural system, a certain amount of uncertainties always persists in material properties, geometric parameters and applied loads. In this study, the structure is designed to withstand the uncertainties which are caused by either measurement inaccuracy or system complexity. Random structures are modelled by using ANSYS probabilistic design module. It can be applied easily to any structural system with random parameters. The aim of this paper is to make optimal design for the beam with random input variables due to width and height and response parameters due to displacements and stresses. The probabilistic design is also carried out with ANSYS APDL and then the optimal design is sequentially solved. As the total volume of beam, stresses and displacements at the beam are treated as random parameters, the numerical results are obtained.'

        우리나라 농가용 도정기의 구조요인과 도정성능을 분석하기위하여, 판매되고 있는 농가용 도정기 29개 모델을 이용하여제현장치와 정미장치로 분류하였고, 각 장치별로 구조적 특징을 조사하였고 그 결과를 바탕으로 성능요인을 분석하였다.제현장치는 임펠러 회전속도가 주요 구조적 요인으로 조사되었으며, 4,800rpm의 임펠러 회전속도가 65.5%로 가장 많이사용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 회전속도에서 탈부율이99.45%로 가장 높게 나타났고, 현미동할립율이 가장 낮게 나타나 제현성능에 가장 좋은 임펠러의 회전속도는 4,800rpm인것으로 분석되었다(p<0.05). 정미장치는 로터 선속도가 주요구조적 요인으로 조사되었으며, 2m/s의 로터 선속도가 60.1%로 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 선속도에서도정수율이 75.07%로 가장 높게 나타났고, 유실곡비율과 싸라기율이 각각 0.02%, 7.06%로 가장 낮게 나타나 정미성능에가장 좋은 로터의 선속도는 2 m/s인 것으로 분석되었다(p<0.05).

        When we excavate an underground to build basement, the ground anchors are needed to prevent collapse of neighboring ground, subsidence and movement. Ground anchor construction required shore sheet piles, wales and struts as to maintain secure excavation. Existing box-type bracket using head part of ground anchor can not be possibly adjustable to the boring angle because the brackets are manufactured with unified angle in a factory. Also, box-type brackets have imperfection and instability caused by inequable force. In this study, a new bracket system is proposed. The bracket's side plate is reinforced and the angle of boring can be controlled. To investigate the structural performance of presented brackets, FEM analysis has been performed by using ANSYS commercial program. As a result, this bracket shows sufficient stability for all angle case and the strength is increased about 24% than existing bracket.

        본 연구에서는 텅스텐합금강의 상부구조와 폴리에틸렌소재로 구성된 하부구조의 인공관절이 하중을 받았을때의 인공관절의 하중분포와 인공관절의 설치를 위한 지지구멍에 가해지는 응력분포에 대하여 유한요소해석을 통하여 결과값을 도출하였으며, 실물을 이용한 다음 실험을 위한 기초자료를 얻을 수 있었다. 이를 통하여 나온 해석결과의 하중분포는 텅스텐합금의 상부구조가 모서리 끝부분부터 하중이 집중되어 크랙이 발생하며 이는 의학계에 보고된 인공관절파손에 의한 조직괴사사례와 그 거동이 일치 하였다.

        This study presents a structural safety analysis method for a plant annunciator panel under the seismic effect. Seismic qualification analysis for the nuclear plant annunciator panel is carried out to confirm the structural integrity and the results are represented by required response spectra. For the numerical analysis, finite element method is adopted. Mode combinations are also used to obtain the reliability of the spectrum analysis. The analysis results shows that the nuclear plant annunciator panel is designed as a dynamically rigid assembly, without any resonance frequency blow 33Hz. The calculated stress of the nuclear plant annunciator panel is much less than yield stress of used steel.

        Accumulation of more than 20,000,000 vehicles since the establishment of the quality of life and economic development needs several parking lots and cause crack problem in Korea. Related structures in large cities due to the lack of parking garage attached to secure underground parking structures are actively being built, and the basement parking lot will continue to increase more stories and the trend is expected to be larger. But so far, construction of the underground parking structure is related to a number of problems, including cracks in the structure. Therefore, in this study, repair, reinforcement and a few non-economic losses in the current design criteria are presented. The review of the structure used to current design criteria is to minimize crack and maximize usability.

        In animals, structural coloration is the production of color by microscopically structured surfaces of many birds as well as many butterfly wings and beetles wing cases. This structural coloration is caused by interference effects rather than by pigments. It has been known that the colors are produced when a material is scored with fine parallel lines, formed of one or more parallel thin layers, or otherwise composed of microstructures on the scale of the colour’s wavelength. Current research is performed using light and scanning electron microscopes to examine the fine structural characteristics of scales in the three species of iridescent butterflies Papilio maackii, Charaxes tiridates and Anaea glaucone. It has been revealed that the structural coloration of these butterflies is responsible for the blues and greens of the scales of wings. In addition, the reflected color depends on the viewing angle, which in turn controls the apparent spacing of the structures responsible for specific color patterns of the wing scales.

        광역방제기의 송풍팬은 방제성능을 좌우하는 핵심 부품으로서 구조적으로 안전성이 확보되어야 한다. 따라서, 대풍량 축류식 송풍기의 알루미늄 축류팬의 안전한 운용을 위해, 축류팬 블레이드에 대해 3차원 전산유동해석과 구조상호해석을 실행하여 축류팬의 요구수명을 만족할 수 있는 개선된 축류팬을 제시하고자 하였다. 이에 제1 보에서는 유동해석과 구조해석을 통하여 기존의 일체형 모델의 안전성을 검토하였는데, 그 결과 축류팬의 기계적 강도가 다소 미흡하여 무한수명을 보장할 수 없음이 판단되어 개선 설계가 절실히 요구되었다. 제2 보의 개선된 설계에서는 축류팬의 각 블레이드를 허브에 조립하여 응력을 분산시킴으로써 등가응력 수준을 반감시킬 수 있었다. 개선모델의 경우 유동저항에 의한 압력분포와 원심력으로부터 예측된 최대 등가응력(74.21MPa)이 소재 항복강도의 1/2 이하로 저감되었고, 내구수명해석을 통해 알루미늄 합금 소재의 무한 피로한도를 보장할 수 있을 것으로 예상되었다. 또한 제1 모드 고유 진동수가 105.62 Hz로서 공진현상은 발생하지 않을 것으로 예상되어 안전한 설계임을 확인할 수 있었다.

        광역방제기의 송풍팬은 장비의 안전성과 방제성능을 좌우하는 핵심 부품으로서 구조적으로 안전성이 확보되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 광역방제기에 사용되는 축류식 송풍기의 안전한 운용을 위해, 알루미늄 축류팬 블레이드에 대한 3차원 전산유동해석과 구조상호해석을 실행하여 축류팬의 요구수명을 만족할 수 있는 개선된 축류팬을 제시하고자 하였다. 이에 제1 보에서는 유동저항과 회전력에 의해 발생하는 최대등가응력 값을 구조해석을 통하여 축류팬 재질의 기계적 피로강도와 비교하여 기존모델의 안전성을 검토하고자 하였다. 송풍기 작동 시 발생하는 최대 등가응력값(138.68 MPa)은 축류팬 알루미늄 소재(AC3A, 413.0-F)의 항복강도(145 MPa)에 근접한 값으로 축류팬의 기계적 강도가 다소 미흡하였고, 내구수명은 1.24~11.15×106 회(최대 90시간)으로 분석되었다. 따라서 피로강도의 산포를 고려할 때, 관행기존 설계의 축류팬에 대한 무한수명을 보장할 수 없으며 개선 설계가 요구되었다.
