        The physiological functions of the ovary and development of the corpus luteum occur through the activation of endocrine hormones. In this process, estrogen, a reproductive hormone, is secreted in the ovarian follicle and corpus luteum and affects corpus luteum formation and regression. Estrogen controls the synthesis of reproductive hormones by binding to estrogen receptor–α and –β. Estradiol–17β, synthesized in the ovary, regulates the physiological function of the corpus luteum and the angiogenesis signaling pathway. Estrogen controls progesterone synthesis, which is regulated by StAR-transported cholesterol, P450scc-converted pregnenolone in mitochondria, and 3β-HSD-synthesized progesterone in the smooth endoplasmic reticulum. Estrogen secretion is also stimulated by kisspeptin and regulated by gonadotropin-releasing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and luteinizing hormone. Moreover, the formation of the corpus luteum is closely regulated by angiogenesis. VEGF is an important factor in angiogenesis and plays a role in the survival, proliferation, and migration of endothelial cells. Especially, VEGF–A is a key factor in the physiological functions of endothelial cells. VEGF binds VEGFR–2 and affects the signaling pathways of PI3K, Akt, MAPK, and ERK. Also, VEGF binds to HIF–1α, inducing VEGF secretion. Estrogen promotes the activation of HIF–1α, while the activation of mTOR and Akt stimulates VEGF secretion. Therefore, estrogen is a major reproductive hormone in physiological function and the synthesis and secretion of endocrine hormones in the ovary and corpus luteum.

        본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 강점인식과 진로관여행동과의 관계에서 진로적응성의 매개효 과를 확인하고자 수행되었다. 연구대상은 G광역시와 J도에 소재한 대학교 3곳의 간호대학생 284명을 대상 으로 하였다. 자료는 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관분석 및 Baron과 Kenny의 3단계 매개 회귀 분석을 이용하였고, Sobel test로 검증하였다. 강점인식과 진로관여행동사이에서 진로적응성은 부분매개효 과를 나타냈으며(Z=6.66, p<.001), 강점인식 수준이 높을수록(β=.24, p<.001), 진로적응성이 높을수록(β =.49, p<.001), 진로관여행동 수준이 높아지며, 진로관여행동을 설명하는 설명력은 47%이었다. 간호대학 생의 진로관여행동 수준의 향상을 위해서는 진로적응력 함양을 위한 구체적인 행동전략과 더불어 진로교 육 및 상담을 통해 개인의 강점을 인지할 수 있는 지도전략이 필요하다.

        This study evaluated the consumers’ demands and points of improvement for restaurant meal replacement through importance–performance analysis by the restaurant meal replacement segment market using food involvement. The results were as follows. First, after segmenting the restaurant meal replacement market using food involvement, it was classified into three markets (multiple involvements, exploration-oriented, and product quality-oriented). Second, an analysis of the importance of restaurant meal replacement selection attributes revealed taste, sanitation, quality, freshness, price, saving time, texture, ingredients, preparation process, and quantity to be highly important. An analysis of the differences according to the market type revealed the multiple involvement type to be more important than other groups, considering the restaurant meal replacement selection attribute element. Third, an analysis of the importance-performance analysis of restaurant meal replacement selection attributes revealed that quantity and price as the selection attributes that needed to be improved first in all three markets. In addition, in the multiple involvement type, food additives appeared as a selection attribute requiring priority improvement, revealing the characteristics of a market that cares about diet and health.

        한국이 인태전략 발표 이후 이를 효과적으로 추진하기 위해서는 지역 안보 분야에서 한국이 더 많은 부담을 감당하기를 바라는 미국의 기대를 어떻게 관리하는가의 문제가 현안으로 부상할 것이다. 미국은 공식적으 로 동맹을 바탕으로 한반도를 넘어 인태지역 전체에서 자유와 평화, 그 리고 번영을 위해 협력해야 함을 강조해왔다. 더구나 한국도 자신의 인 태전략을 발표하면서 역내에 기여와 역할을 약속했다. 이제 양국의 관심 은 한국의 역내 군사적 관여에 집중될 것이다. 본 연구는 미국이 역내 군사 적 관여를 요청해올 때 한미동맹의 비대칭적 관계 속에서 미국과의 협상 전략을 도출하고자 한다. 양면게임이론을 바탕으로 과거 유사 협상 사례를 분석하여 비 준과 윈셋이 협상 전략에 미치는 함의를 끌어내고자 하였다. 비준(국익 기여와 동맹 분담 관점에서 국내 집단 간 논쟁하면서 여론을 수렴하는)은 상대국과의 협 상에서 전략이 될 수 있다. 윈셋(국내에서 양보하거나 혹은 상대의 양보를 끌어 낼 수 있는)도 전략으로 유용할 것이다.

        This study investigates the claim that task-induced involvement load has an effect on vocabulary learning and examines the effect of task types and word concreteness on intentional vocabulary learning in the Korean EFL context. This study aims at testing whether productive word-focused tasks lead to equally effective vocabulary learning when the total involvement load index is equal but the distribution of index levels of each component (need, search, and evaluation) is different. The three productive word-focused task types are gap-fillig, sentence writing, and gap-filling through word transformation. In addition, in order to investigate the effect of word concreteness on vocabulary learning, two groups of target words were selected based on the level of word concreteness. In sum, the results of this study generally supported involvement load hypothesis (Laufer & Hulstijin, 2001) and test types and proficiency levels proved to be important variables that affect vocabulary learning. Moreover, the findings also indicated that word concreteness was not a major factor in vocabulary learning. The pedagogical implications and further suggestions are discussed.

        The purpose of this study was first, to clarify the clothing benefits that Uzbek female college students seek through clothing products; and second, to determine whether there is a difference in clothing involvement and clothing purchasing behavior according to the type of clothing benefits. Data were collected from 290 female university students from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and analyzed using factor analysis, K-means group classification analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test, χ2-test, and frequency analysis. Respondents were classified into four types according to their clothing benefits: individuality/economy-pursuit, comfort-pursuit, fashion/brand-pursuit, and indifference. Significant differences were identified in terms of clothing involvement, information sources, clothing evaluation criteria, clothing store attributes, clothing wearing conditions (including monthly clothing expenses), number of purchases per year, clothing purchase location, clothing preference style, and clothing dissatisfaction. The fashion/brand-pursuit and personality/economy-pursuit types were influenced more by fashion and symbolism of clothing involvement, information sources, clothing evaluation criteria, and clothing store attributes. The individuality/economy-pursuit type purchased more frequently, spent more monthly clothing expenses, and used the internet. Clothing store attributes were considered more important by female students than the other attributes. In these results, clothing benefits were identified as consumer characteristics of female Uzbek college students and market segmentation was determined. In addition, it is meaningful in providing basic data for efficient marketing activities and minimizing trials and errors in establishing local-friendly strategies for target customers in different cultures.

        The expansion of the online market is expected to change the purchasing environment. The purpose of this study is to examine the difference in the moderating effect of each characteristic on perceived quality and purchase intention according to the group according to product involvement and purchaser age. The first step is to identify the characteristics of online information sources and social media platforms through a literature review. Next, when perceived quality affects purchase intention, we verify the moderating effect according to the characteristics of online information sources and social media platforms. The moderating effect is verified at the stage by dividing it into a group according to product involvement and a group according to age. The following results were confirmed throughout the study: First, perceived quality significantly affects purchase intention. Second, in the relationship between perceived quality and purchase intention, the influence of the moderating effect is different depending on the high-involvement product and the low-involvement product. Third, it was confirmed that there was a difference in the moderating effect of online information sources and social media platforms in the relationship between perceived quality and purchase intention according to age. This study intends to increase consumers' purchase intentions by identifying specific age groups and product groups of involvement and establishing strategies suitable for the characteristics of online information sources and social media platforms.

        일반적으로 분노경향이 높은 사람들은 공격적인 행동을 하는 경향이 높다. 이러한 분노와 공격 간의 높은 상관관계는 다양한 사회적 문제를 야기하는 요인이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 관계를 완화하기 위한 개입이 필요하 다는 점에 주목하고, 공감의 두 차원인 공감적 관여(empathic concern)와 조망수용(perspective taking)이 특성분노와 공격성 간의 정적인 관계를 조절할 것이라는 가설을 검증해보았다. 학부생 329명을 대상으로 설문을 통해 특성분노 (분노경향성), 공격성, 공감적 관여, 조망수용 양상을 조사한 결과, 특성분노와 공격성 간의 관계를 공감적 관여는 조절한 반면, 조망수용은 조절하지 않았다. 우선 공감적 관여는 특성분노가 공격성을 높이는 관계를 약화시키는 기능을 보였는데, 이는 특성분노가 낮은 집단에서보다 높은 집단에서 더 강하게 나타났다. 반면, 특성분노가 높은 사람이나 낮은 사람이나 모두 특성분노와 공격성 간에 정적인 관계를 보이지만, 이는 조망수용 정도에 따라 다르지 않았 다. 이 결과는 공감의 기능이 정서적 인지적 측면에 따라 변별적으로 나타날 수 있으며, 특히 분노가 공격으로 이행 되는 과정에서는 정서적 측면의 공감이 인지적 측면에서의 공감보다 더 중요하다는 점을 보여준 결과라고 볼 수 있다. 마지막으로, 이러한 주요 결과와 함께 본 연구의 함의와 시사점, 추후 연구 방향이 함께 제시되었다.

        The aim of this study is to explore diverse characteristics of females aged 25 to 49 years grouped according to Body Mass Index(BMI), and to investigate the effect of body satisfaction and self-esteem on involvement in dieting within each BMI group. In total, 549 females who participated in an online survey were divided into groups based on BMI(underweight, normal, and overweight). Results demonstrated three key factors, as follows. First, differences were identified among BMI groups according to demographic characteristics(age, household income, and marital status), although no difference according to education level was found. Second, differences according to BMI groups were found in body satisfaction and involvement in dieting, whereas were not found in self-esteem. Third, model testing for each BMI group showed, a positive correlation between body satisfaction and self-esteem in all three groups. However, there was a difference in causal relationships among variable across BMI groups. Body satisfaction negatively affected and self-esteem positively affected involvement in dieting for the underweight and normal groups, whereas there was no causal relationship between variables in the overweight group. Based on these results, basic information of groups segmented by the level of BMI was obtained, which could be used for both academic and practical implications.

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate the attributes of consumers global luxury fashion brands and to find the impact of consumer value, meaning the social and pleasure values derived from brands on product purchase involvement. The method in this study was analysis of a total of 298 responses to a questionnaire. The results indicate, first of all, that among the attribute evaluations of global luxury brands, traditionality and splurge affect purchasing involvement. However, prestige and originality were found to have no influence on purchasing involvement. Second, the responses to the questionnaire indicate that social and pleasure values had a statistically significant effect on purchase of luxury brands. Third, the value of cross-group attributes evaluation and consumption value to differences in purchase involvement has had statistically significant results. In conclusion, the traditional and Splurge natures of the luxury global fashion industry’s brand, social consumption value and pleasure consumption value affect the level of purchase involvement. This underscores the importance of attribute Evaluation(traditional and splurge) and consumption value(social and pleasure) when planning consumer marketing strategies for global luxury fashion brands in the future.

        There has been a significant decline in the number of rail accidents in Korea since system safety management activities were introduced. Nonetheless, analyzing and preventing human error-related accidents is still an important issue in railway industry. As a railway system is increasingly automated and intelligent, the mechanism and process of an accident occurrence are more and more complicated. It is now essential to consider a variety of factors and their intricate interactions in the analysis of rail accidents. However, it has proved that traditional accident models and methods based on a linear cause-effect relationship are inadequate to analyze and to assess accidents in complex systems such as railway systems. In order to supplement the limitations of traditional safety methods, recently some systemic safety models and methods have been developed. Of those, FRAM(Functional Resonance Analysis Method) has been recognized as one of the most useful methods for analyzing accidents in complex systems. It reflects the concepts of performance adjustment and performance variability in a system, which are fundamental to understanding the processes of an accident in complex systems. This study aims to apply FRAM to the analysis of a rail accident involving human errors, which occurred recently in South Korea. Through the application of FRAM, we found that it can be a useful alternative to traditional methods in the analysis and assessment of accidents in complex systems. In addition, it was also found that FRAM can help analysts understand the interactions between functional elements of a system in a systematic manner.

        This study investigated differences in cosmetic buying behavior and personal characteristics between cosmetic involvement groups. Cosmetics buying behavior refers to reason for using cosmetics, use of information sources, selection criteria, place of purchase, use/non-use of cosmetics, purchase propensity, purchase frequency, purchase amount, and satisfaction with cosmetics. Personal characteristic contains pursuing image, age, residence area, job, and average household monthly income. Data was collected from 5-10 December 2016, from 308 females in their 20s using an internet survey. The analysis included descriptive statistics, t-tests, Mann-Whitney U tests, and chi-square tests. The respondents were divided into two groups (a high cosmetic involvement group and a low cosmetic involvement group) according to the degree of cosmetic involvement. The results of t-tests revealed significant differences between groups in terms of reasons for using cosmetics, use of information sources, selection criteria, purchase frequency, place of purchase, use/non-use of cosmetics, and satisfaction with cosmetics. The results of Mann-Whitney U tests highlighted a significant difference in purchase frequency between both groups. The results of chi-square tests indicated significant differences in purchase frequency, purchase amount, pursuing image, and average household monthly income. However, no significant differences were evident in terms of purchase propensity, age, job, and area of residence between groups.

        This review summarizes the studies on a wide variety of yeast found in kimchi and the effects of yeast on kimchi fermentation, and discusses the direction for further research. Yeast belongs to the genera Trichosporon, Saccharomyces, Sporisorium, Pichia, Lodderomyces, Kluyveromyces, Candida, Debaryomyces, Geotrichum, Kazachstania, Brassica, Yarrowia, Hanseniaspora, Brettanomyces, Citeromyces, Rhodotorula, and Torulopsis have been identified using culturedependent methods and metagenomics analysis. The application of yeast as a starter into kimchi has resulted in an extension of shelf life and improvement of sensory characteristics due to a decrease in the amount of lactic acid. On the other hand, some yeast cause kimchi spoilage, which typically appears as an off-odor, texture-softening, and white-colony or white-film formation on the surface of kimchi. In contrast to lactic acid bacteria, there are limited reports on yeast isolated from kimchi. In addition, it is unclear how yeast affects the fermentation of kimchi and the mechanism by which white colony forming yeast predominate in the later stage of kimchi fermentation. Therefore, more research will be needed to solve these issues.

        For the past decade, the convenience of sharing information online has improved drastically with the development of smart devices and social media. Such changes have contributed to regarding online word-of-mouth (WOM) as one of the most important consumer information sources. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine online WOM effects (acceptance/redelivery intention) with the two-way interaction effects of fashion involvement and the market maven. The empirical study consisted of an offline survey that collected data from 341 respondents and analyzed the data by factor analysis, independent t-test, and two-way ANOVA with SPSS 20.0, producing the following results. First, the market maven effect was found to differ significantly based on the level of fashion involvement, and is also higher when fashion involvement is high. Second, fashion involvement primarily affected online WOM acceptance, while the market maven significantly affected redelivery intention. Moreover, fashion involvement and market maven had relevant two-way interaction with both of the online WOM effects. Third, market maven had measurable effects on WOM redelivery types (objective/subjective) and directions (positive/negative/ neutral), whereas fashion involvement did not have any primary effects on them. However, fashion involvement and market maven had two-way interaction effects on the positive and negative direction of WOM redelivery. Based on these findings, the study suggests the importance of investigating and understanding the complicated online WOM behaviors of consumers, specifically from both managerial and theoretical perspectives.

        The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the contribution of job characteristics (work, autonomy, reward, community, fairness, value) towards job burnout (emotional exhaustion, cynicism), job engagement (vigor, dedication, absorption) and turnover intention in school foodservice employees. Typically, 594 school foodservice employees in the Busan area participated in our survey. Workload (β=-0.512, p<0.001) had the highest negative influence on emotional exhaustion, whereas reward (β=-0.216, p<0.001) and community (β=-0.214, p<0.001) had the highest negative influence on cynicism. Community (β=0.305, p<0.001) and workload p<0.001) had the highest positive influence on vigor. Community (β=0.261, p<0.001) and (β=0.238, p<0.001) had the highest positive influence on dedication. (β=0.287, p<0.001) and community (β=0.224, p<0.001) had the highest positive influence on absorption. Workload (β=-0.195, p<0.001) and community (β=-0.182, p<0.001) had the highest negative influence on turnover intention. Overall, the results show that job characteristics are very important factors affecting foodservice employee’s burnout, engagement, and turnover intention. So should try to reduce the employees’ workload and increase the rewards for them along with activating communication among each other.         The purpose of this study was to examine the differences of the information searches and purchasing behavior Korean men in their 20s and 30s, focusing on cosmetic involvement. Research methods consisted of qualitative and quantitative approaches. For the qualitative approach, in-depth interviews and participant observations were conducted to investigate male customers' cosmetic characteristics in information searches and purchasing behavior. Then, the study conducted a quantitative study methodology based on the questionnaires from the in-depth interviews, participant observations, and literature review. The study surveyed 340 Korean men in their 20s and 30s. The cosmetic involvement of the target group was classified into the amusing high-involvement group, the rational low-involvement group, and the obligatory high-involvement group. The results from this study indicated that the groups of male customers classified by cosmetic involvement showed statistically significant differences in terms of information searches and purchasing behaviors. Especially, the obligatory high-involvement group generally displayed high-involvement traits likewise the amusing highinvolvement, was more similar to the rational low-involvement group regarding cost effectiveness than the obligatory high-involvement group. Moreover, the classifications of men generally had different characteristics of cosmetic purchasing behavior and information searches than women. This study has a distinctive significance compared with other studies in discovering differences of cosmetic purchasing behaviors of Korean men in their 20s and 30s’ cosmetic involvement groups classified using qualitative and quantitative approaches.

        양평군 잣나무림 간벌지에서 수집한 잣나무 이목으로부터 우화 탈출한 북방수염하늘소(Monochamus saltuarius)성충을 격리된 우화망실에 방사한 후 우화 경과일에 따른 집합페로몬 루어(monochamol +  -pinene + ethanol)트랩에 유인 포획되는 시기를 비교하였다. 우화직후에는 모든 개체가 집합페로몬 루어에 유인되지 않았으나, 후식1일차에는 암컷 2.5%, 수컷 2.5%가 유인 포획되었고, 후식 7일차에는 암컷 41.9%, 수컷 25.0%가 유인 포획되었으며,교미 후에는 암컷 7.5%, 수컷 15.0%가 유인되었다. 북방수염하늘소 성충의 집합페로몬 루어에 유인되는 시기는충분한 후식과 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 특히 암컷의 경우 교미 유무에 따라 유인효과에 큰 차이를 보였다. 한편,후식 경과에 따른 성충 암컷의 복부를 해부하여 난(卵) 성숙도를 분석한 결과 우화직후와 후식 1일차에는 성숙된알이 전혀 없었으며, 후식 7일차에는 5.6개, 교미 후에는 6.8개로 확인되었다. 그러나, 집합페로몬 루어 트랩에포획된 개체와 미포획 개체 간에는 성숙된 알의 수량에 유의미한 차이는 없었다.

        본 연구는 사전지식 수준이 어떠한 조절요인을 통해서 소셜커뮤니케이션 행동을 하는지를 검 토하였다. 정치쟁점 ‘사드’에 대한 사전지식 수준이 관여도와 뉴스신뢰도에 미치는 영향을 검증 한 결과, 관여도 구성 요소중 이슈관여, 가치관여 측면에서 차이를 보였고, 뉴스신뢰도에는 영향 을 미치지 않았다. 정치쟁점 ‘사드’에 대한 사전지식 수준이 소셜커뮤니케이션 행동에 미치는 영 향을 검토한 결과, 정보전달과 정보공유행동에 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그러나 정치쟁점 ‘사드’에 대한 사전지식 수준과 소셜커뮤니케이션 행동의 관계에서 관여도와 뉴스신뢰도가 조절 요인으로 효과가 있는지 살펴보았다. 그 결과 모두 조절요인으로서 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났 다. ‘좋아요’에는 뉴스신뢰도와 가치관여가 조절변인으로서 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. ‘댓글달기’는 가치관여가 가장 높게, 정치관여가 조절효과를 보였다. ‘공유하기’의 경우엔 뉴스신 뢰도, 이슈관여, 정치관여, 가치관여등 모든 요인이 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

        멸종위기야생식물의 효과적인 보전을 위해서는 종이 소유하는 특성과 더불어 각 분포지에서 나타나는 환경요인과의 상호작용에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 먼저 분포특성을 조사하였고 석호의 분포지를 중심으로 4년간에 걸친 모니터링을 실시하였다. 또한 토양과 빛 조건에 따른 월동아, 열매 및 종자 생산특성을 비교하였다. 다음으로 재배실험에서 생산된 종자를 이용한 발아실험을 통해 종에 대한 정보를 확보하였다. 갯봄맞이꽃은 우리나라가 세계적인 분포의 가장자리에 해당하며 4개의 분포지는 서로 먼 거리에 격리되어 분포하였다. 2개의 분포지는 해안의 바위지대에 형성된 소규모 습지와 미사 퇴적지에 위치하였고 다른 2개 분포지는 하구가 바다와 연결되어 있는 석호에서 모래로 구성된 입지에 분포하였다. 갯봄맞이꽃은 염분과 주기적인 침수 그리고 낮은 토양층에 따라 경쟁관계에 있는 식물의 침입과 생육이 억제되는 공간에 분포하는 것으로 보였다. 갯봄맞이꽃은 월동아에 의한 보충과 종자에 의한 유묘 보충에 의해 개체군이 유지되었다. 월동아의 생산은 토양의 유기물과 더불어 모래의 입자에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 추정되었다. 종자에 의한 유묘 보충은 호수의 가장자리에 있는 모래언덕 배후에 위치한 염습지에서만 관찰되었다. 갯봄맞이꽃 개체군 마다 서로 다른 위협요인이 존재하는 것으로 관찰되었다. 포항의 개체군은 해안도로의 개설로 월동아의 보충에 영향을 미치는 미사의 퇴적현상이 제거된 것으로 보였다. 울산의 개체군은 분포지로 유입되는 용출수의 단절로 경쟁종의 급격한 확대와 갯봄맞이꽃 분포 면적의 축소가 나타났다. 반면에 석호의 분포지는 비교적 안정적인 개체군을 유지하였 다. 특별히 송지호의 개체군은 가장 안정적인 개체군으로 판단되었다. 석호에 분포하는 갯봄맞이꽃 개체군의 지속을 위해서는 석호가 소유하는 바닷물의 유입과 주기적인 침수를 포함하는 기작이 잘 유지되도록 광역적인 규모에서의 보전활동이 필요함을 제안하였다.
