수의사 보조원은 동물병원에서 동물에 대한 처치, 접수, 보호자 안내, 수납 업무 등을 통해 수의사를 지원하고 보조한다. 이러한 역할을 수행하기 위해서는 적극적 경청과 원활 한 의사소통 능력을 갖춰야 한다. 이것과 관련하여 조사와 분석을 통해 도출된 결과로 인 식의 함양이 필요하지만 현재 이와 관련된 선행연구가 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 동물 병원 서비스 이용 경험이 있는 전라북도 반려인의 이용 만족도 현황과 정도를 파악하고 이에 수의사 보조원의 언어적, 비언어적 의사소통 능력이 미치는 영향의 유무를 규명하고 자 한다. 또한, 전반적인 의사소통 능력의 중요성과 영향력을 인식하는 데 목적을 둔다. 2022년 4월 30일부터 2022년 5월 29일까지 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 응답 결과 의 데이터는 빈도 분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관 분석을 사용하여 인구통계학적 기준으로 분석 하였다. 첫째, 수의사 보조원의 언어적, 비언어적 의사소통 능력의 개념을 정리하기 위한 신뢰도 분석 결과 Cronbach’s alpha 계수는 모두 0.8 이상으로 나타나 신뢰도가 검증되 었다. 둘째, 수의사 보조원의 언어적, 비언어적 의사소통 능력이 동물병원 이용자의 만족 도에 미치는 영향의 여부와 정도를 파악하기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 모두 정(+)의 상관관계로 나타났다. 하여, 본 연구는 수의사 보조원의 언어적, 비언어적 의사 소통 능력의 영향력 인식을 통해 중요성 함양하고자 하는 데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions of radiation safety supervision in animal clinics using inspection standard of X-ray generator for diagnosis. The surveys for inspection standard system, equipment condition, and safety supervision were carried out in 18 animal clinics randomly. The inspection standard included reproducibility of dose exposure, kVp, mAs, collimator accuracy test, collimator luminance test, X-ray view box luminance test, grounding system equipment test and external leakage current test. The surveys of equipment condition and safety supervision used one-on-one interview with 5 points measurement. As a result, 44.44% of reproducibility of dose exposure was proper, 81.25% of kVp test was good, and 100% of mAs test was appropriate. Also, 66.66% of collimator accuracy test was proper, 61.11% of collimator luminance test was good, 53.13% of X-ray view box luminance test was suitable. In addition, only 5.55% of grounding system equipment and ground resistance was proper, 63.64% of external leakage current test was appropriate in grounding system equipment test. The 100mA electric capacity of X-ray generator for diagnosis was popular with 44.44%, and its 55.56% was purchased used equipment. Monthly average of less than 50 times (61.11%) was top frequency in use, and no animal clinic had a thermo-luminescence dosimeter(TLD). The 16 animal clinics with radiation safety zone and 2 without radiation safety zone were appeared.

The surveys for QA/QC, equipment condition, and safety supervision were carried out in 18 animal clinics randomly. The QA/QC included reproducibility of dose exposure, kVp, mAs, collimator accuracy test, collimator luminance test, X-ray view box luminance test, grounding system equipment test and external leakage current test. As a result, 44.44% of reproducibility of dose exposure was proper, 81. 25% of kVp test was good, and 100% of mAs test was appropriate. Also, 66.66% of collimator accuracy test was proper, 61.11% of collimator luminance test was good, 53.13% of X-ray view box luminance test was suitable. In addition, only 5.55% of grounding system equipment and ground resistance was proper, 63.64% of external leakage current test was appropriate in grounding system equipment test.

동물병원에서 행해진 진료현황, 총 41,305건에 대해 WHO의 질병분류법(ICD)에 따라 검증한 결과 예방의학이 42.2%, 피부질환이 16.4%, 소화기계가 12.0%, 耳科가 8.5%, 호흡기계 질환이 4.3%이었다. 내과질환에서는 내원한 진료 중에서 소화기계 질환이 52.9% 호흡기계 질환이 18.9%, 순환기질환이 13.2%, 종양이 4.4%순이었다. 피부질환 총 6,774건 중에서 농피증이 50%, 외부기생충증이 12.2%, 피부사상균증이 11.0%, 알레르기성 피부병이 9.8%이었다. 동물병원의 수입을 진료부분과 용품 판매, 애견 미용 등 크게 3부분으로 구분하였을 때 전체 매출의 71.6%가 진료부분, 용품의 판매가 16.9%, 애견 미용이 11.5%를 차지하였다. 동물병원의 홍보 형태는 인터넷 웹사이트를 통한 홍보가 47%로 가장 많았으며, 지역광고지가 23.5%, 전단지와 전화통신 서비스가 11.8% 순이었다. 동물병원의 인적구성에서는 수의사가 절반정도인 45.5%를 차지하였으며 전문적인 교육과정을 거친 수의테크니션은 없었다. 동물병원의 시설구획에서는 평균 진료실은 2.7실, 입원실은 1.7실, 격리입원실은 0.5실이었고 이외 수술실과 방사선촬영실을 병용하는 동물병원도 있었고 일반 처치실의 시설은 미흡하였다.
