        구조물 보수 부위의 손상, 재 박리 등의 2차 피해가 이어지며, 보수 부위의 새로운 거동 평가 기법 에 대한 연구의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 현재 구조물 보수 부위의 거동을 알기 위해서 주로 인력 중 심의 구조물 외관 검사를 진행하고 있으나, 단편적인 검사 결과를 얻게 되어 지속적이고 세밀한 점검 이 어려운 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 탄소나노튜브 기반 폴리머 콘크리트를 활용해 압축과 같 은 외부 응력에 대한 탄소나노튜브 함량별 전기적 변화를 분석하였으며, 균열이 발생한 콘크리트 구조 물을 보수 후 응력을 가해 거동에 따른 전기적 변화를 평가하였다. 압축 시험 결과, 응력에 따른 탄소 나노튜브 기반 폴리머 콘크리트의 전기 저항이 감소하며, 탄소나노튜브 함량이 낮을수록 응력에 대한 저항 감소 폭이 넓게 나타나며 민감도가 증가하였다. 균열 보수 시험 결과, 보수 부위에 응력이 가해 졌을 때 전기 저항이 감소해 앞서 진행된 실험 결과와 동일한 경향을 보였으며, 또한 응력이 가해지지 않을 때 초기 저항으로 회복하는 경향을 보여 구조물 보수 부위 거동에 대한 평가가 가능한 것으로 검 증되었다. 이를 통해, 탄소나노튜브 기반 폴리머 콘크리트는 구조물에 적용이 가능하며, 구조물 보수 후에도 가해지는 응력에 대한 지속적인 감지가 가능해 보수 부위 거동 평가가 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

        본 연구에서는 국내 아스팔트 도로 현장에서 발생한 동절기 도로융기 현상의 발생 원인을 현장 규명하고 동결융해 피해를 보수하고 자 현장조사, 현장 LFWD실험 및 포장 코어채취, 지하수위 측정, 기상데이터 및 설계자료 분석 등을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 동상 원인 분석은 추후 동결융해 피해 재발방지를 위한 적정한 보수보강공법을 선정하기 위해 수행하였다. 분석과정은 지하수위 상승에 의한 동 상피해 가능성, 동결깊이 과소설계에 의한 동결융해 가능성, 포장면 표면수 유입에 의한 동결융해 가능성, 도로 외측 비포장면을 통한 수분유입과 이에 의한 동결융해 가능성으로 조사하여 동상 원인을 파악하였다. 또한 현장에서 소형충격 재하시험 LFWD(Falling Weight Deflctometer)시험을 하여 포장의 구조적 지지력을 측정하여 얻은 처짐값을 통해 포장체 구조적 능력을 분석함과 동시에 도로융기와의 연관성을 파악하여 균열분석 결과를 함께 분석하고 보수방법을 제안하였다.

        국토교통부 보고서 “2022 도로교 현황보고”에 따르면, 국내 교량의 수는 연간 2.9%씩 증가하고 있으며 그에 따라 보수 가 필요한 교량의 수도 늘어나는 추세이다. 교량 하부를 보수할 때 보통은 몰탈을 사용하여 보수해 왔고, 직접 보수하기 에는 작업자의 안전성 및 작업의 효율성이 떨어져 숏크리트를 사용하여 보수해 왔다. 숏크리트는 건식 숏크리트와 습식 숏크리트가 있다. 습식 숏크리트는 시멘트와 골재, 그리고 미리 혼합된 물이 호스를 통하여 이송되고 호스 끝에서 압축 공기가 이를 고속으로 분사하는 공법이다. 다만 재료를 미리 계량하고 배합한다는 한계가 재료 공급의 제약을 가져온다. 건식 숏크리트란 시멘트, 골재, 섬유 등 건조된 재료들이 호스로 빠르게 압송되어 노즐부에서 물과 만나 빠르게 분사되 는 공법이다. 이러한 공법은 장거리 압송 가능, 습식 숏크리트에 비해 상대적으로 적은 장비, 청소와 보수의 용이성, 쉬 운 적용성이 장점이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 건식 숏크리트 공법을 채택하여 교량 슬래브 하부인 천정부에 대한 단면보 수를 진행하고자 한다. 배합설계는 혼합골재 입도곡선을 고려하고 실리카퓸은 중량의 3%를 차지한다. 연구결과 고압 살 수 및 건식 숏크리트의 현장 적용성은 우수하며, 작업의 용이성 등 교량 하부 구조물 보수에 대한 다양한 장점을 가질 수 있다고 사료된다.

        In the contemporary era, 3D printing technology has become widely utilized across diverse fields, including biomedicine, industrial design, manufacturing, food processing, aerospace, and construction engineering. The inherent advantages of automation, precision, and speed associated with 3D printing have progressively led to its incorporation into road engineering. Asphalt, a temperature-responsive material that softens at high temperatures and solidifies as it cools, presents distinctive challenges and opportunities in this context. For the effective implementation of 3D printing technology in road engineering, 3D printed asphalt (3DPA) must exhibit favorable performance and printability. This requires attributes such as good fluidity, extrudability, and buildability. Furthermore, materials utilizing 3DPA for crack repair should possess high viscosity, elasticity, toughness, superior high-temperature stability, and resistance to low-temperature cracking. These characteristics ultimately contribute to enhancing pavement longevity and ensuring worker safety.

        PURPOSES : This study aimed to develop high-performance concrete repair materials for the cross-sectional repair of deteriorated bridge concrete. METHODS : To derive the optimal mix using the dry shotcrete method, experiments were conducted to develop an appropriate performance in terms of durability and watertightness based on basic experiments on materials. By mixing silica fume, GGBFS, and natural fibers, this study compared the differences in each variable. Each variable was compared using compressive strength, flexural strength, plastic shrinkage, chlorine ion penetration resistance, and freeze-thaw tests. RESULTS : By mixing silica fume and natural fibers, watertightness and durability were secured, and by adding an expansion material and polymer powder, a material that exhibited suitable performance as a repair material was developed. The material demonstrated suitable performance in terms of compressive strength, freeze–thaw resistance, plastic shrinkage crack resistance, and chlorine ion penetration resistance. CONCLUSIONS : The repair material developed in this study has a higher performance than repair mortar, and because it uses a dry shotcrete method, the process and post-processing are simpler than the wet shotcrete method; therefore, it is believed to be more efficient for repair work.

        PURPOSES : In this study, the basis for improving the maintenance method of road pavement in Jeju Island, where deterioration is accelerating, was presented through field construction and analysis of various combinations of maintenance methods. METHODS : Construction was performed on Jeju Island's Aejo Road, which has high traffic and frequent early damage, using various asphalt mixtures mainly applied in Jeju Island, with different maintenance cross-sections depending on the level of repair. The quality and performance of the asphalt mixture collected during construction were evaluated, and MEPDG was used to analyze the service life according to the type and maintenance level of the mixture. RESULTS : While the mixture for the surface layer satisfied the quality standards and had excellent rutting and moisture resistance performance, the asphalt mixture for the intermediate and base layer did not satisfy the quality standards such as air voids, so it was judged that quality control was necessary during production. The section repaired to the base layer was found to be advantageous for the integrated behavior of the pavement and had the best structural integrity. As a result of predicting the service life, the estimated life of the section where only the surface layer was repaired was analyzed to be approximately 7 years, the section where the intermediate layer was repaired was 14.5 years, and the section where the entire section up to the base layer was repaired was analyzed to be 18 years. CONCLUSIONS : In Jeju Island, where deterioration is accelerating, it was analyzed that when establishing a maintenance plan, it is necessary to consider repairing the middle and base floors in order to secure the designed life of 10 years.

        PURPOSES : Experimental findings pertaining to the mechanical properties and microstructures of calcium sulfo-aluminate (CSA) cement and amorphous calcium aluminate (ACA) cement based-repair mortars incorporated with anhydrite gypsum (AG) are described herein. METHODS : To prepare the mortars, the CSA or ACA as binders were adopted and the ratio of water–binder was fixed at 0.57. For comparison, mortar made of Type I ordinary Portland cement (OPC) was prepared. The fluidity, setting time, compressive and bond strengths and absorption of the mortars were measured at predetermined periods. In addition, the microstructures of paste samples using OPC, CSA or ACA were visually examined through SEM observation. RESULTS : The ACA-based mortars showed the increases in the fluidity, and the acceleration of the setting time. Furthermore, the ACAbased binder effectively enhanced the compressive and bond strengths of the mortars owing to amount of formation of C2AH8 hydrates. Meanwhile, the mortar with ACA showed an excellence absorption. CONCLUSIONS : Comparing with those of CSA-based mortars, the mechanical properties of ACA based-mortars were more remarkable. However, further studies regarding the durability of repair mortars using aluminate-based binders must be conducted to obtain the optimal mixture.

        PURPOSES : This study proposes a framework for promoting future expressway remodeling projects by reviewing similar overseas cases and comparing them with current Korean expressway remodeling projects. METHODS : Based on a literature review, this study examines the major issues in expressway remodeling projects and proposes the development of a framework for establishing and promoting such projects. This framework provides detailed guidance by categorizing the project into legal system adjustments, traffic management plans, and social consensus. RESULTS : The diagnosis of issues in domestic expressway remodeling projects revealed significant problems in conceptual aspects, criteria for project evaluation, formulation of traffic diversion strategies, and deficiencies in related legal frameworks. To address these issues, a framework for advancing future remodeling projects was established based on the results of overseas case studies. CONCLUSIONS : As roads deteriorate, the demand for remodeling projects to restore them increases. However, the current implementation of remodeling projects lacks systematic procedures. This study serves as foundational research for establishing an environment conducive to the smooth progress of such projects. By initiating subsequent research, conditions for the smooth progress of remodeling projects are expected to be established.

        PURPOSES : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the common performance of asphalt pavements, determine the timing of preventive maintenance, and determine the optimal timing of application of the preventive maintenance methods by analyzing PMS data. METHODS : Using PMS data on asphalt pavement performance on highways, we derived the major damage factors and evaluated them according to the public period and traffic level. Among the factors evaluated, we determined those that could be improved by preventive maintenance, calculated the amount of change annually, and derived the timing of the application of the preventive maintenance method through correlation analysis. RESULTS : Among highway PMS data factors, crack variation was found to affect preventive maintenance, which increased rapidly after five years of performance. Traffic analysis showed that changes increased rapidly in the fifth, sixth, and seventh years when AADT exceeded 20,000, exceeded 10,000, and was under 10,000, respectively. Analysis of the amount of crack variation according to the pavement type showed that crack variation increased rapidly in the overlay section compared to the general AP section. CONCLUSIONS : Crack variation is the performance factor that was expected to be effective in preventive maintenance, and the PMS data showed that the initial application time of the preventive maintenance method varied by one year, depending on the traffic volume.
