Maintaining the permanence of a company in the current rapidly changing business environment is not an easy task. Rather, the lifespan of a company can be said to be gradually decreasing. As such, the author of this paper, which describes the current market environment, is the sales organization of a large company. While leading the company, I thought about how to overcome the rapidly changing market and create an organization that continues to grow. As a result, I succeeded in creating an organization that continued to grow over the past two years, and the main activity of this result was the use of sales computer. It was clear that it was an information sharing activity. This can be said to be a result of proving that a series of activities to create and share information is important for the sales organization of ICT companies to actively respond to the rapidly changing market environment. Therefore, this study attempted to examine the relationship between knowledge management and business performance in the sales field of ICT companies, which has not been covered so far. Knowledge management is a four-stage activity from a process perspective, divided into knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge transfer, and knowledge utilization. did. As a result of the study, first, knowledge management activities, such as knowledge creation and knowledge storage, were found to have a significant impact on financial performance. Second, knowledge management activities such as knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge transfer, and knowledge utilization were all found to have an impact on non-financial performance. In the end, this study confirmed that efforts to turn tacit knowledge into knowledge in order to respond to the ever-changing ICT market are ultimately an important factor in growing a company.
다수의 이론적, 실증적 연구에도 불구하고 지식재산권 제도와 기업의 기술혁신 및 경영성과간의 일반적 인과관계는 명확하지 않다. 본 연구는 산업별 기업 경영성과의 핵심요인이 상이하다는 점에 주목한다. 이를 바탕으로 ①지식재산권 강화→연구개발의 투입/산출 증가→매출증가로 이어지는 기본 성과창출경로가 작용하는 제약 산업, ②지식재산권 강화와 연구개발 투입/산출간 관계가 약한 반도체산업, ③연구개발과 매출 간 관계가 약한 조선산업까지 세 산업을 대상으로 지식재산권 제도가 기술혁신과 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석했다. 한국의 특허제도가 선진국 수준에 이른 TRIPs 이후 15년간의 대기업 패널 데이터를 사용했으며, 고정효과모형을 차분 GMM으로 추정해 동태적 인과관계를 분석했다. 결과적으로, 지식재산권 강화가 제약 산업에서는 연구개발의 투입/산출 및 경영성과를 모두 증가시켰지만, 반도체-조선 산업에서는 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 지식재산권 강화를 위한 제도 구축과 정책은 산업별로 맞춤화될 필요가 있으며, 획일적인 강화/약화는 특정산업의 경영성과 제고에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못한다.
지식정보사회의 등장은 개인과 기업, 또는 공공기관 및 국가에게 부여된 목표와 성과를 달성하기 위해 유용한 정보를 획득, 가공하여 이를 활용할 수 있는 환경과 능력을 갖추기 위한 IT 기반의 지식경영 시스템 구축을 조직성과 향상의 핵심요인으로 인식하게 하였다. 이러한 환경의 변화는 국방획득사업을 관리하는 관련조직들에게도 전문성, 기밀성, 정보접근의 제한성이라는 국방획득사업의 특성과 권위성, 보수성, 비밀성, 정보보호의 의식 등의 국방조직의 특징을 극복하기 위한 수단으로 기존의 아날로그적 방식으로 관리 및 유지되던 사업 관리의 Know-How나 중요 지식 정보들을 IT기반으로 구축된 지식경영 시스템을 이용한 시스템 구축 및 체계적 관리의 필요성을 인식하게 하였으며, IT기반의 지식경영 시스템의 도입 및 정착을 진행하게 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 국방획득사업의 성과를 향상시킬 수 있다면, 지식경영의 핵심요인 중 하나인 지식경영 시스템 역시 국방획득사업의 성과를 향상시키는데 기여한다는 실증적 연구결과를 제안하였다.

Purpose - In this research, we investigate the relationship between the level of information technology utilization, social capital and knowledge management, organization performance. For information and knowledge management, participants’ certain level of information technology utilization is required and connections among participants are necessary for performing and for synergy effects.
Research design, data, and methodology - Reflecting on these, we empirically analyze the effects of participant’s information technology utilization level and social capital on knowledge management and organization achievement for the case of Incheon International Airport. Questionnaire is distributed to the airport employees and collected 221 samples for analyzing. SPSS and AMOS statistic programs are used for analysis. Factor analysis, Credibility adaptability, path analysis, hypotheses are verified.
Results - The study research shows as follow. First, the level of IT utilization does affect social capital but does not affect knowledge management. Second, social capital affects both knowledge management and organization achievement. To investigate more about the relationship between the level of IT utilization and knowledge management, we analyzed the control effects of personal characteristics, and findings are, first, employees with longer time service recognize the importance that the level of IT use and knowledge management affect organization achievement more seriously than employees with shorter time service do. Second, employees with shorter time service and younger employees have relatively lesser social capital and participate in knowledge management passively. Third, higher position employees think that the level of IT utilization affects knowledge management while lower position employees do not.
Conclusions – The level of IT utilization affects social capital, and social capital affects knowledge management and organization achievement. These results suggest that the level of IT utilization is very important to both organization and each employee. So providing related training and education opportunities or incentives to induce employees to make efforts for higher level of IT utilization and thus to participate in knowledge management more actively is necessary. The level of IT utilization affects social capital which airport employees lack. The one of study results indicates the importance of social capital and for higher competitiveness of the airport social capital should be increased.
