        PURPOSES : The pole electrode method damaged the concrete pavement on inserting the electrode into the pavement surface. This study examined the feasibility of the flat electrode method to observe the concrete pavement instead of the pole electrode method and analyzed the resistivity characteristics of the concrete by performing laboratory tests. METHODS : The resistivity of the concrete specimens manufactured with three different mixing ratios (38.50%, 39.50%, and 40.50%) were measured using the pole and flat electrode methods according to the concrete age (7 and 28 days) and electrode spacing (20 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm). RESULTS : In both pole and flat electrode methods, the resistivity increased with increasing fine aggregate proportion regardless of the concrete age. The resistivity measured at a concrete age of 28 days was slightly larger than that measured at 7 days. In the case of a concrete age of 7 days, the resistivity measured by the flat electrode method was larger than that measured by the pole electrode method. The difference disappeared at 28 days. CONCLUSIONS: The results suggest that the flat electrode method can replace the pole electrode method because the resistivity measured by both methods was similar. Hence, the development of a technology to apply the flat electrode method to actual concrete pavement is necessary.

        콘크리트 도로 하부의 이상대를 찾기 위해 전기비저항 탐사를 수행하였다. 콘크리트의 접지저항효과를 줄이기 위해 전기전도성이 좋은 매질과 평판 전극을 이용하였다. 전기비저항 탐사 결과를 분석하고 같은 장소에서 수행한 지하투과레이더 탐사, 충격응답기법, 다중채널 표면파 탐사 결과와 비교하였다. 전기비저항 탐사 결과는 함몰과 포장 구간에서 높은 비저항 분포를 보였으며, 지하투과레이더 탐사 결과는 보강으로 인한 형태를 보였다. 또한 충격응답기법과 전기비저항 탐사 결과의 비교를 통하여 보강 구간에서의 높은 동적강성도가 높은 비저항 분포의 원인임을 확인하였다. 동일한 장소에서 수행한 전기비저항 탐사와 다중채널 표면파 탐사 결과를 공동 크리깅한 결과, 지구통계학적 복합 해석이 각 지구물리 탐사결과에 대한 개별적인 분석보다 더 명확하게 이상대를 확인 할 수 있었다. 이 연구는 지구물리 탐사에 기초한 의사결정 과정에서 지구통계학을 이용한 복합 해석 결과의 활용 가능성을 제시한다.

        콘크리트 비저항에 대한 실험실 단위의 측정시, 실험체의 제한된 크기로 인해 겉보기 비저항은 측정위치에 따라 영향을 받게 된다. 콘크리트 실험체를 대상으로 한 비저항 측정에서 위치에 따른 영향을 분석하였으며 겉보기 비저항이 가장자리로 이동할수록 그 영향이 높게 나타난다는 것을 확인하였다. 콘크리트 비저항 추정의 정확성을 높이기 위해 이에 대한 사전 검토가 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

        In this study, chloride penetration resistance and electrical resistivity properties of concrete using industrial waste were evaluated. From the results, the chloride diffusion coefficient increases and electrical resistivity decreases when electric furnace slag is mixed. It is needed that the comparison of results with long-term because the electric furnace slag has a ferrous component.

        Recently, high-performance and high-fluidity concrete have been studied and developed because high-rised build is constructed. An early-age properties of these concretes have been studied and developed bacause of comparing existed concrete. This study proposed non-destructive method as electrical resistivity measurement, which evaluates setting time of cement-based materials. An assessment of the effect on the setting time was studied on the addition of a superplasticizer to delay the setting time and the curing temperature to promote the setting time. 6th of samples prepared mortar according to adding superplasticizer(PNS) or curing temperature and measured the electrical resistivity during 24 h. As the results, mortars which curing higher temperature were promoted rising time which is setting time in the electrical resistivity, also mortars which adding superplasticizer were retard rising time.

Through the electrical resistivity method(Wenner’s four electrode method), the effect of chemical admixture(AE admixture and superplasticizer) added for setting time of concrete mixtures is confirmed. As a result, it is observed that AE admixture dose not affect to change of concrete microstructure but delaying on setting time, and superplasticizer is affected not delaying on setting time, but changing in concrete’s microstructure

        A new array was suggested for effective leakage detection of concrete water facility. This array was modified to serve the purpose. Plus and minus currents have been installed respectively on the upstream and downstream water in order to detect the flow of water floating through the crack of facility. Potential poles in two lines have been installed closer than current sources to the weir to measure potential difference in upstream and downstream. Interpreting the potential difference data acquired by the new array, we could predict that where is the leakage zone. The possibility that can distinguish the leakage zone has been confirmed by numerical and physical modeling and problem position expected to leak was verified in field exploration.
