        The purpose of this study was to explore the potential of agricultural heritage as a sustainable agricultural and rural paradigm with a focus on the “Argan-based agro-sylvo-pastoral system in the area of Ait Souab-Ait Mansour”, a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) site in Morocco. Based on the inscription criteria of the GIAHS, we analyzed the economic-industrial, sociocultural, and ecological-environmental perspectives and presented strategies for revitalizing agricultural and rural development cooperation through the Moroccan Argan GIAHS. The argan tree has been a source of economic, cultural, and environmental stability for the Berber people for centuries, but today it is exposed to many threats. In particular, the declining consumption of argan oil by Berbers, the lack of financial independence of women's cooperatives, and the over-exploitation of the tree suggest that it is time to balance the three pillars of environmental, economic, and social sustainability that development has sought to achieve. Agricultural heritage can be preserved when local people take ownership of their heritage and utilize it to generate economic activities. Only a symbiotic way of life between humans and agricultural heritage can overcome the possibilities and limitations of the ecological environment and generate local value through the accumulation of knowledge, technology, and culture. Only on these premises, can local self-sustaining development based on the pluralistic values and public functions of the world's important agricultural heritage be possible.

        The purpose of the study was to analyze effectiveness of Korea’s bilateral development cooperation for the agricultural sector in Myanmar using secondary time-series data from 1991 and 2018. This study utilized the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). Results showed that Korea’s bilateral development cooperation in the agricultural sector had a positive effect on the agricultural GDP in Myanmar with a significant contribution. This study suggests that the Myanmar government needs to use ODA (Official Development Assistance) for efficient and sustainable agriculture in a more timely and manageable manner. Although the agricultural sector in Myanmar has great potential for development, there are various weaknesses such as the lack of access to foreign aid compared to other ASEAN countries due to the lack of stability in policy legislation. If it formulates better agricultural policies, laws, and legislation, there would be more support from Korea and other partner countries than ever before.

        스마트농업의 활성화를 위해서는 농업환경 데이터의 관측과 모델 그리고 통계자료의 상호운영성 확보가 중요하므로, 이를 위한 격자체계의 적용방안을 탐색하고자 한다. 국내외 격자체계 표준에 대한 사례조사와 농업분야의 격자표준 적용사례조사를 벤치마킹하고 국립농업과학원과 상위기관의 표준현황을 살펴보고, 농업환경 공간정보의 목록과 분류체계를 구축한 후, 사용자 요구사항을 파악하기 위한 설문을 실시하여 적정한 격자 크기를 선정하였다. 농업환경 공간정보의 공유와 활용을 위하여 국토지리 정보원의 기관표준을 차용하여 군 이하 소규모 지역은 10m, 광역시・도는 100m, 농촌경관 목적으로는 500m, 전국은 1km 격자 크기로 안을 제시하였고 원활한 표준 적용을 위한 전략을 제안하고, 현장 조사 및 관측 결과를 격자로 변환할 수 있도록 오픈소스 기반의 변환 툴을 개발하여 격자표준 적용 용이성과 시간 절약성을 확보하였다.

        Climate change due to global warming causes a rise in atmospheric air temperature to rise and extreme shift in precipitation patterns. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is widely known as one of the major cause of global warming and accounts for about 72% of total greenhouse gas emissions. Agriculture is more vulnerable to climate change than other industries. Many studies have been conducted to investigate how agroecosystems, both natural and controlled, will respond to the rising level of CO2. Studies on the responses of crops and agricultural environments to climate change are crucial in predicting changes in agro-ecosystems. Research facilities for various types of CO2 treatment have been developed. The representative research facilities are SAR (Soil-Plant-Atmosphere-Research), OTC (Open Top Chamber), FACE (Free Air CO2 Enrichment System), and TGC & CTGC (Temperature Gradient Chamber & CO2-Temperature Gradient Chamber). Therefore, this study reviewed research data and their application in agriculture.

        The purpose of the study is to analyze the agricultural cooperation of Central Asian countries selected as the 3rd Official Development Assistance (ODA) priority countries based on the New Northern Policy. This study classified the types of agricultural cooperation by country and established cooperation strategies based on SDG2 in the Voluntary National Review (VNR) of ODA priority countries in Central Asia. First, 'Aid first'-Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan should attempt to expand agricultural productivity through ODA and agricultural technology cooperation. Second, 'Economic cooperation'- Ukraine, Uzbekistan should be carried out to promote overseas agricultural development and investment. Furthermore, it is necessary to attempt agricultural minilateral triangular cooperation centered on Uzbekistan for effective development. Therefore, this study presented practical strategies and approaches for agricultural cooperation between Korea and Central Asia's ODA priority countries for the future.

        Agrophotovoltaic (APV) system is an integrated system producing crops as well as solar energy. Because crop production underneath Photovoltaic (PV) modules requires delicate management of crops, smart farming equipment such as real-time remote monitoring sensors (e.g., soil moisture sensors) and micro-climate monitoring sensors (e.g., thermometers and irradiance sensors) is installed in the APV system. This study aims at introducing a decision support system (DSS) for smart farming in an APV system. The proposed DSS is devised to provide a mobile application service, satellite image processing, real-time data monitoring, and performance estimation. Particularly, the real-time monitoring data is used as an input of the DSS system for performance estimation of an APV system in terms of production yields of crops and monetary benefit so that a data-driven function is implemented in the proposed system. The proposed DSS is validated with field data collected from an actual APV system at the Jeollanamdo Agricultural Research and Extension Services in South Korea. As a result, farmers and engineers enable to efficiently produce solar energy without causing harmful impact on regular crop production underneath PV modules. In addition, the proposed system will contribute to enhancement of the smart farming technology in the field of agriculture.

        돌발성 해충인 매미나방의 방제체계 수립을 위해 시판 유기농업자재 21종에 대한 살충 활성을 실내 검정하였다. 90% 이상의 살충 활성을 보인 유기농업자재 11종을 선발하였으며, 유효성분들을 분석하였다. PLS 제도의 대응하여 본 연구 결과는 돌발성 매미나방의 친환경 방제 및 향후 유기농업자재의 개발에도 활용이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

In addition, the proposed system will contribute to enhancement of the digital twin technology in the field of agriculture.

        본 연구는 지역의 환경·사회·풍습 등에 적응하면서 오랫동안 형성시켜온 유형·무형의 농업자원을 보전하기 위해 시행되고 있는 국가중요농업유산(KIAHS)에 대한 방문객의 인식을 파악함으로써 농업유산지역의 자원과 행태 등의 이용 특성을 도출하고 지속가능한 발전 방향을 제시하는 것에 연구의 목적이 있다. 이에 KIAHS제도 도입 시점부터 현재까지의 블로그 및 카페 데이터 수집과 분석을 토대로 특성을 고찰한 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상위 키워드 분석을 통해 농업유산지역이 무형의 특성을 보유한 공간이라는 것을 방문객이 인지하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 여행의 목적이 역사문화적 가치로 인해 발생되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 키워드 연결망 분석 결과 농업유산지역과 대표자원이 연결되고 있어, 지역의 대표자원이 방문객 인식에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요소임을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 시계열적 관점에서 살펴본 결과 농업 유산제도 시행목적에 정합한 키워드가 다수 도출되었으나, 세계중요농업유산(GIAHS) 등재 이후에 집중적으로 등장하여 KIAHS 인식 확대 방안이 요구됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 감성분석을 통해 제도에 대한 이해와 인식 확대 등을 위한 홍보가 필요한 것을 알 수 있었다. KIAHS는 역사성과 대표성을 보유한 곳으로 지식, 문화, 경관 등 다양한 관점에서 접근할 필요가 있으며, 추가적으로 세부적인 지역별 특성에 대한 고찰을 진행한다면 지역의 대표자원 인식을 근거로 지역 활력화 방안을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

        식량에 대한 수요 증가, 날씨의 불확실성, 생산성 손실, 운영 효율성 부족으로 인한 낮은 수익률 등의 문제를 개선하기 위한 기술의 필요성이 정밀 및 스마트 농업 기술 시장 성장을 촉진하고 있다. 센서, 센서 융합 기술, 작물 재배 및 디지 털 기반 기술은 앞으로 정밀 및 스마트 농업 분야에서 성장 및 발전이 기대되는 기술로 전망된다. 2050년까지 90억명으로 증가하리라 예상되는 인구, 기후변화와 지구 온난화, 환경악화, 음식물쓰레기, 소비자 건강과 만성질환 문제, 그리고, 끊 임없이 변화하는 소비자의 요구사항 등 농식품 관련 기술 혁신의 필요성은 그 어 느 때보다도 크다. 1차 산업, 2차 산업, 3차 산업이 결합된 6차 산업으로 발전하 는 과정, 더 나아가서는 바이오 및 에너지 기술 등과의 융합으로 인한 6차 및 알 파 산업화로 새로운 부가가치 창출이 기대된다. 본 연구에서는 KISTI가 보유한 글로벌 R&D 과제정보 및 인텔리전트 분석형 콘 텐츠(DB)를 기반으로 정밀농업, 스마트농업 시스템 자동제어기술, 식품 안정성 기 술, 작물 생산성 향상 정밀농업 분야 대표적 글로벌 공공투자 과제 현황 및 주요 국 연구개발 공공투자 프로파일 분석으로 연구개발 지형분석 및 글로벌 주요영역 별 R&D기반 공공투자 규모를 비교분석하였다. 향후 글로벌 선행 공공투자 대응 국내 디지털농업 분야 미래유망기술 R&D 발굴 및 전략수립을 지원하고자 한다.

        Ecological occupation in irrigation ponds is a well-acknowledged fact that is essential for biodiversity conservation in agricultural ecosystems. However, there are few studies on the ecological functions and relationship between a paddy field and irrigation using macroinvertebrates in an environmentally friendly paddy field. The objective of this study is to identify the community and distribution characteristics of macroinvertebrates in an agricultural paddy field and irrigation pond ecosystems, and to provide basic data on the ecological function of an environmentally friendly paddy field. Macroinvertebrate sampling was conducted from May to September in an agricultural paddy field and irrigation pond in an environment-friendly paddy field in Boryeong city. We conducted a study to identify the distribution characteristics using macroinvertebrate species analysis, such as Functional Feeding Groups (FFGs), Habitat Oriented Groups (HOGs), rarefaction curve, and a two-way dendrogram. A total of 37 species of macroinvertebrates in 28 families, 13 orders were collected study during the period of the investigation. Dominant taxa of macroinvertebrates included Coleoptera, Hemiptera, and Odonata. In terms of FFGs, predators and gathering collectors accounted for approximately 70%, in relation to HOGs, and climbers and swimmers occupied more than 50% from both the paddy field and irrigation pond. With respect to the rarefaction curve, the irrigation pond (July) was high as E (S, 141)=18 species, while the paddy field (May) was comparatively low as E (S, 141)=9 species. In conclusion, our results revealed that macroinvertebrates, such as Notonecta triguttata, Peltodytes intermedius, Appasus major, Laccotrephes japonensis, Appasus japonicus, Sigara substriata, Enochrus simulans, and Sternolophus rufipes, were used as a habitat and spawning ground in both paddy field and irrigation pond. The irrigation pond appears to be a very important spawning ground for macroinvertebrates.

        To assist farmers in shifting from subsistence to commercial agriculture, the government of Laos has promoted farmer organizations throughout the country. The farmer production groups have gradually transformed and emerged into strong cooperatives or associations. The purpose of this study was to examine the factors affecting farmers’ participation in FPGs. Data were collected from primary and secondary sources. A total of 140 respondents participated in a field survey in three kumb ban (village groups) in the Xepon District. Descriptive statistics and binary logistics regression models were used to analyze the data. The results show that the education level of household head, farmland size, access to credit, and perceived trust for farmer production group membership are significantly different from those who are non-members of the groups. However, non-members of FPGs face more constrain in accessing the market, as compared to the members of FPGs. The empirical results from the Binary Logit Model indicate that education level of headed household, farmland size, access to credit, perceived trust, and constraint to market are factors that significantly determine farmers’ participation in FPGs. This study contributes to the empirical literature by providing a better understanding of farmer participation in the groups. The government of Laos should consider and promote access to credit, farmer learning, and market integration to improve farmers' participation in FPGs.

        The purpose of this study was to examine the extent to which influencing factors impact the transference willingness of farmers. The research method is based on the survey data on transference willingness, and the binary logistic model was used to analyze the influencing factors. The results show that the educational level, annual household income, farm labor, and farmers' understanding of land transfer policy notably influence land transfer. Based on the results, suggestions include improving farmers' social security system, improving a sound market for rural land transfer, and deepening the promotion and explanation of land-related policies.
