곤충의 노래 소리는 구조적으로 프레이즈(pharase)와 처프(chirp), 임펄스(impulse)로 구분한다. 왕귀뚜라미의 노래 소리(Teleogryllus emma (Ohmachi et Matsuura))는 프레이즈 당 처프의 횟수로 노래 소리를 유인노래, 구애노래, 경쟁노래 3가지로 구분할 수 있다. 왕귀뚜라미의 소리의 처프 횟수를 자동 계수하기위해 웨이블릿 변환(Wavelet transformation)을 시도하였다. 웨이블릿 변환은 퓨리에 변환(Fourier transformation)과 유사하나 삼각함수 대신 적절한 기저함수(Basis function)를 이용하고 이들의 집합으로 신호를 분해하여 정보를 추출하는 수리적 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 방울벌레의 소리를 Morlet 함수를 기저함수로 사용하여 신호를 분석하였다. 마이크로 녹음된 왕귀뚜라미의 소리를 웨이블릿 변환의 입력 자료로 활용하여 변환을 하였다. 변환된 신호 중 왕귀뚜라미의 처프 주기와 가장 유사하고 변화폭이 뚜렷한 고주파 영역대의 신호를 선택하였다. 선택된 신호는 적절한 과정(smoothing, interpolation)을 거쳐 처프 횟수를 자동계수하게 된다. 40회의 울음소리를 랜덤하게 선택하여 실제 처프 횟수와 계수 횟수를 비교하였다. 두 횟수의 유사성을 나타내는 R2 값이 0.97로 나타나 자동 계수 값이 실제 처프 횟수를 대변할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Real-time PCR could help to provide answers to urgent questions about the incidence, prevalence, and epidemiology of currently emerging food-borne bacteria and diseases as identification and detection tools. The objective of this study was carried out to examine several critical parameters that must be optimized when converting from the ABI Prism 7000 SDS platform to the Cepheid SmartCycler Ⅱ so as to directly use the same primer and probe sequences. A lyophilized master mix-OmniMix HS bead, MgCl2 concentration, and PCR cycling conditions were evaluated so as to convert to a new platform, Smartcycler Ⅱ. The best optimal cycling conditions to detect Cronobacter sakazakii on SmartCycler Ⅱ were as follow: initial denaturation at 95℃ for 2 min followed by 45 cycles of 95℃ for 15 s, and 60℃ for 60 s using OmniMix HS bead contained 6 mM MgCl2 concentration. And the Ct value was 16.97 compared to 23.84 of Ct value in ABI Prism 7000 SDS. This result showed that when the several analytical parameters were taken the consideration for optimization, it could be performed assays between real-time PCR platforms. Also it is need of further study to develop the new single multiplex real-time PCR method for determining various Cronobacter spp. including three subspecies, too.

In a bi-fuel engine using gasoline and LPG fuel, with the current ignition timing for gasoline being used, the optimum performance could not be taken in LPG fuel supply mode. The ignition timing in LPG fuel mode must be advanced much more than that of gasoline mode for the compensation of its higher ignition temperature. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the ignition spark timing conversion influences the engine performance of LPG/Gasoline Bi-Fuel engine. In order to investigate the engine performance during combustion, engine performance are sampled by data acquisition system, for example cylinder pressure, pressure rise rate and heat release rate, while change of the rpm(1500, 2000, 2500) and the ignition timing advance(5°, 10°, 15°, 20°). As the result, between 1500rpm, 2000rpm and 2500rpm, the cylinder pressure and pressure rise rate was increased when the spark ignition was advanced but pressure rise rate at 20° was smaller value.

근래에 전기추진선박의 필요성이 대두되고 있으며 특수선박을 시작으로 건조가 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 선박은 운항 환경에 따라 추진기의 출력 토크 및 속도의 변동이 심하므로 전기추진시스템에 큰 영향을 미친다. 대표적으로 출 입항시, 정상상태의 대양 항해시, 황천 항해시에 선박 추진시스템의 토크 및 속도 변동이 짧지만 빈번하게 변동하게 되므로 전기추진시스템의 전력변환장치에서 전류 및 전압파형에 고조파가 크게 포함되어 발전기, 변압기, 컨버터, 인버터 및 추진전동기에 손실의 증가, 기기의 열화 및 토크 맥동 발생 등의 좋지 않은 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 연구에서는 선박의 운항 환경에 따른 추진시스템의 전류 및 전압파형에 포함되는 고조파 함유율을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 저속 영역에서의 잦은 속도 및 부하 변동에 따라서 전동기에 공급되는 전류 및 전압 파형에 포함된 총 고조파 왜형율과 전동기의 토크 맥동이 증가됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

차세대 웹 기술로 각광 받고 있는 시맨틱 웹에서 웹 리소스는 온톨로지에 기술된 다양한 메타데이타에 의해 가용하게 되며 이러한 온톨로지를 대상으로 한 검색을 위해 SPARQL과 같은 여러 시맨틱 질의 언어가 제안되었다. 그러나 이러한 시맨틱 질의 언어를 사용자가 습득하였다 하더라도 올바른 정보를 찾기 위해서는 사용자가 온톨로지의 구조와 어휘를 잘 파악하고 있어야 한다는 어려움이 있다. 특히 사용자가 질의 언어의 문법과 복잡한 형식 논리이론에 익숙하더라도

식물공장 내 생육과 안토시아닌 함량을 동반 제고시킬 수 있는 최적 광조사 방법을 구명하고자 적색광과 청색광의 비율 및 단기간 광질변화 조건을 달리하여 어린잎 상추의 생육 및 안토시아닌 색소발현 양상을 비교 평가하였다. 적색광 단일파장에서 어린잎 상추의 생육이 가장 좋았으며 혼합광, 청색광 및 형광등의 순으로 생육이 억제되었다. 어린잎 상추의 엽내 총 안토시아닌 함량은 청색광과 적색광의 혼합광(R57-B43) 처리에 의해 적색광 단일광원 조건에 비해 4.1배, 형광등(FL) 조건에 비해 6.9배 각각 증가되었다. 청색광의 혼합비율이 43%까지 순차적으로 높아짐에 따라 생육은 억제되었으나 상대 엽록소 함량과 적색도의 발현은 크게 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 수확전 9일간 적색 단일광으로의 광질변환시 생육은 크게 증진된 반면 색소는 급격하게 소실되었으며 반대로 혼합광으로의 광질변환시에는 생육속도는 감소한 대신 안토시아닌 색소함량은 형광등과 적색광에 비해 크게 높아졌다. 따라서 수확 전의 단기간 광질변환 시 적색광의 비율이 높은 광원조건에서 생육을 촉진시킨 후 적색과 청색의 동등 혼합광원으로 변환할 경우 생산성을 유지하면서 고품질의 고색도 상추를 생산할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

Although scholarly terminology should have clear meanings as signs, Korean pagoda terminology has become jargon and is creating difficulties in communicating meanings which are far from the originally intended meanings; this terminology is sometimes notated in dead language, meaning old Chinese characters, or Japanese styled Chinese characters. Nobody has asked questions on the terminology itself which has long been commonly used for a century, since the Japanese-ruling period. One of the main reasons for this error is that the Indian Buddhist scriptures in Sanskrit has been translated into Chinese with vague understanding of form and meaning of stupa since 3rd Century A.D. On the other hand, the English-language terminology, already built by Indology scholars since the beginning of the 20th century, consists of easier language and clearer meanings. This paper examines misunderstanding and mistranslation of the original Indian stupa terms and suggests new terminology in current, easier language.

In a split beam echo sounder, the transducer design needs to have minimal side lobes because the angular position and level of the side lobes establishes the usable signal level and phase angle limits for determining target strength. In order to suppress effectively the generation of unwanted side lobes in the directivity pattern of split beam transducer, the spacing and size of the transducer elements need to be controlled less than half of a wavelength. With this purpose, a 50 kHz tonpilz type transducer with a half-wavelength diameter in relation to the development of a split beam transducer was designed using the equivalent circuit model, and the underwater performance characteristics were measured and analyzed. From the in-air and in-water impedance responses, the measured value of the electro-acoustic conversion efficiency for the designed transducer was 51.6%. A maximum transmitting voltage response (TVR) value of 172.25dB re 1μPa/V at 1m was achieved at 52.92kHz with a specially designed matching network and the quality factor was 10.3 with the transmitting bandwidth of 5.14kHz. A maximum receiving sensitivity (SRT) of -183.57dB re 1V/μPa was measured at 51.45kHz and the receiving bandwidth at -3dB was 1.71kHz. These results suggest that the designed tonpilz type transducer can be effectively used in the development of a split beam transducer for a 50kHz fish sizing echo sounder.

곡면 모델링 분야에서 서브디비전 서페이스 기법은 NURBS 모델링의 단점을 해결할 수 있게 해준다. 특히 모델링하고자 하는 형태의 토폴로지의 제한이 NURBS 모델링에 비해 거의 없다는 점은 많은 3D 애니메이션 시스템에 서브디비전 서페이스 모델링 기법을 도입하게 하였다. 최근 서브디비전 서페이스 모델링에 대한 다양한 연구가 진행되어 왔지만 기존의 실시간 렌더링 라이브러리에는 베지어(Bezier) 서페이스나 NURBS 모델링 등의 tensor product 서페이스 위주로 구현되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 PCCM 변환에서 사용되는 자료구조를 1차원 배열형태로 구성함으로써 효과적으로 변환 알고리즘을 구현할 수 있도록 제안한다.
