        본 연구에서는 고속도로를 대상으로 각각의 구간에 대한 선형유형을 구분하여 사고빈도모형을 개발하였다. 현재 사고빈도모형 부문의 연구는 주로 고속도로 구간 전체를 대상으로 한 연구가 대부분이기 때문에 거시적인 측면에서 사고빈도모형이 개발되었다고 할 수 있으며, 이에 따라 각각의 구간특성이 정확히 반영되지 않은 상태에서의 사고빈도를 예측하였다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 인식하여, 동질구간 분할법을 사용하여 고속도로의 평면선형을 직선부, 곡선부, 연속곡선부로 구분하였고, 이를 군집분석을 통하여 직선부와 곡선부의 유형을 구분하여 고속도로의 각각의 구간별 특성을 반영한 사고빈도모형을 구축하였다. 본 연구 결과는 고속도로 각 구간의 사고빈도를 예측하는데 있어 더 정확하고 합리적인 결과를 도출해 낼 것이라 판단한다.

        To control mastitis in dairy cattle, National Mastitis Control Program (NMCP) has been conducted in Korea since early 2000s. Nevertheless, mastitis still remains one of the most important disease in dairy cattle in Korea as other countries worldwide. Under the NMCP, a total of 343,090 lactating cows nationwide were tested for mastitis during 2004~June 2010 based on California Mastitis Test (CMT), and 7.8% (26,782/343,090) and 13.8% (47,335/343,090) of the cows tested were infected with clinical and subclinical mastitis, respectively. Relative frequency of 2,058 bacteria isolated from bovine milk samples with somatic cell count of ≥200,000 cells/㎖ during 2006~2010 were analyzed. The most frequently isolated bacteria were Staphylococcus spp. including Staphylococcus aureus, accounting for over 50% of the total number of isolates. The highest frequency was observed for coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS), followed by Gram negative bacteria (GNB), S. aureus, Streptococcus spp., and Enterococcus spp. Based on the results of recent studies in Korea, the majority of pathogens isolated from subclinical mastitis in dairy cattle in Korea are environmental minor pathogens. Therefore, more attention should be paid to control of environmental pathogens such as CNS, GNB, and Streptococcus uberis in dairy farms in Korea.

        북서태평양에서 발생하는 열대 저기압의 이동경로에 대한 변화패턴을 1951-2007년의 열대 저기압 경로 자료에 경험적 직교함수(Empirical Orthogonal Function, EOF)법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 북서태평양을 5˚×5˚의 격자간격으로 나뉘어 연별 열대 저기압의 이동빈도를 각 격자에서의 변수로 정의하였다. 첫번째 모드는 동서성분(동경125도 기준)을, 두번째 모드는 남북성분(필리핀 동쪽해상에서 남지나해를 가로지르는 축 중심)을, 그리고 세번째 모드는 대각성분(타이완 동쪽 해상을 중심으로 동북방향과 동남방향을 축으로 하는)으로 나누어짐을 알 수 있었다. 첫번째와 두번째 모드의 주성분 시계열에서 각각 1997년과 1991년 부근을 기점으로 해서 주성분들의 부호가 교차되는 데, 이는 1990년대 이전 약 20년 동안에 남중국해 부근지역에서의 열대 저기압 이동 빈도가 동아시아 중위도 지역에서는 최근 20년 동안에 더 높았던 것과 관련성이 있는 것으로 보였다. 열대 저기압 발생의 경우, 첫번째와 두번째 모드에서 고유벡터 값이 음이고 진로가 북서태평양으로 주로 이동했던 열대 저기압은 고유벡터가 양의 값을 보였던 열대 저기압보다 더 동쪽에서 발생했던 것으로 나타났다. 이동특성에 있어 첫번째 모드는 바이칼호 남쪽에서 형성되는 기압 패턴에, 두번째 모드는 30˚N 부근을 중심으로 남과 북 사이에 형성된 진동패턴에, 세번째 모드는 일본 부근에 위치한 기압패턴에 의해 열대 저기압의 이동경향이 많은 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 해수면 온도 아노말리 값과 상관분석결과 첫번째 모드는 Niño-3.4 지수와 높은 음의 상관관계를 보여 ENSO의 영향을 받고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate Chinese customers' perceptions of Korean foods and their satisfaction toward Korean cuisine restaurants. The subjects of this study were 202 Chinese individuals who visited Korean cuisine restaurants in Shanghai, China. The subjects viewed Korean foods as favorite foods and perceived them as fresh and seasonal, and mostly composed of cereals and vegetables however they did not view Korean cuisine as good for health. As compared to customers visiting a Korean restaurant for the first time, those who had visited Korean restaurants previously agreed more strongly with the following items: 'Korean food has a beautiful color', 'Korean food is familiar', 'Korean food smells good', 'Korean food is healthy', 'Korean food is nutritious', and 'Korean food is salty and spicy'. In addition, as compared to occasional visitors, frequent visitors of Korean cuisine restaurants more strongly agreed with the followings: 'Korean food has a beautiful color', 'Korean food is expensive', 'Korean food is healthy', 'Korean food is nutritious', 'Korean food is salty and spicy', and 'Korean food includes many fermented foods'. The subjects considered 'appearance of menu', 'variety of menu', 'nutrition of menu', and 'Chinese characters for menu and ingredients' as the most important attributes when choosing Korean cuisine restaurants. The frequent customers of Korean cuisine restaurants considered 'kind service', 'employee knowledge of Korean foods', 'operation hours of restaurant', and 'cleanliness of restaurant' as the most important restaurant attributes. In addition, the frequent customers of Korean cuisine restaurants were more satisfied than the occasional customers with the followings: 'nutritional quality of menu', 'quick service', 'cleanliness of restaurant', 'appearance and signboard of restaurant', and 'image of restaurant'. The implications of the data are discussed.

        The consumption of a wide variety of food groups is considered one of the key components of nutritional adequacy. The 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Koreans includes the consumption of a variety of foods from diverse food groups as a component of a normal diet. A survey was conducted to evaluate the relationship between the dietary diversity of food groups and nutrient intake in elderly patients (age 65 and above) at a rural area in Korea (Inje). 296 subjects (111 male and 185 female) were probed in a 3 day 24-recall dietary survey. Subjects were grouped according to food group intake frequency, based on six food groups (grain, meat/fish/legume/egg, vegetable, fat/oil, dairy, fruit). Nutritional quality was evaluated according to the numbers of nutrients under EAR (Estimated Average Requirements), and MAR (mean adequacy ratios). The frequency of elderly subjects consuming a meat/fish/legumes/egg food group less than once per day was 29.4%. The frequency of elderly subjects consuming fat/oil food group less than once per day was 65.8%. The percentage of subjects who did not eat dairy food was 88.8%, and that of subjects who did not eat fruit was 57.5%. A stepwise multiple regression analysis was used to develop models relating nutritional quality to possible food group intake frequency factors. Using the number of nutrients under EAR as a dependent variable, the meat/fish/legume/egg food group intake frequency explained 9.9% of variance, followed by the grain group, fat/oil group, dairy group, and vegetable and fruit group (Model R2=0.260). For mean nutrient adequacy ratio as a dependent variable, the model R2 was 0.326. The results of this study suggest that a highly varied diet in elderly might be associated with better nutritional quality, as assessed by nutrient intake. Accordingly, dietary guidelines should take into consideration nutritional characteristics in order to improve intake from all major food groups and to provide a variety of foods in the diet.

Frequency and severity of occurrences was acquired mainly through universities and research institutions which have reported occurrences of accidents to the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. Quantitative danger evaluation was conducted through frequency and strength of occurrences. Case study was carried out by selecting bio science laboratory of university and as the result of this study, degree of danger among the inspection objects of bio science laboratories, laboratory work place was evaluated as the most dangerous with the scores of 155.00 and as the result of average danger level, compression gas cylinder was evaluated as the most dangerous with the scores of 6.4000.

        본 논문은 朝鮮 正祖 16年(1792)에 刊行된 『生生字譜』를 對象으로 삼아 이에 反映된 當時의 漢字 빈도 狀況과 그것이 漢字 頻度 硏究史에서 가지는 의의에 대해 논의하고자 기획되었다. 形·音·義 외에 漢字의 第4要素라 불리는 “글자의 빈도(字頻)”는 해당 글자의 실제 사용 능력을 나타내 준다는 의미에서 漢字의 字頻硏究는 漢字 그 자체는 물론 漢字의 應用硏究에도 중요한 의의를 가진다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 『生生字譜』에 수록된 1만4천9백82개의 字種을 대상으로 하여 (1) 한자빈도 연구사에서 가지는 『生生字譜』의 가치, (2) 『生生字譜』에 대한 간단한 소개, (3) 『生生字譜』와 18세기 후반 朝鮮時代의 文獻用 漢字頻度, (4) 고빈도 상위 50한자의 속성 분석과 빈도 비교 등에 논의했다. 특히 (3)에서는 『生生字譜』에 수록된 부수별 자종과 주조 수량, 빈도별 글자례, 收錄字의 累積 計頻度, 收錄字의 頻度 等級 分類 등에 대해 논의했고, (4)에서는 고빈도 상위 50한자를 추출하여 이들의 품사, 선진시대 각종 역대 문헌 자료, 동한시대 실물 자료, 위진남북조 석각문자 등과의 빈도 비교를 통해 『生生字譜』가 가지는 빈도의 의의에 대해 논의했다. 다만, 『生生字譜』에 기록된 주조량이 어떤 방식에 의해 조사되고 63등급에 의해 분류되었는지, 당시의 다른 “字譜”들과의 차별성은 무엇인지에 대해서는 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.

        The objective of this study was to investigate the consumption pattern of snacks-containing trans-fatty acid in adolescents living in the Kwang-ju area of Korea, and to analyze the relevance toward their eating behaviors, body composition, nutrient intakes, and consumption frequency of snacks-containing trans fatty acid. A survey questionnaire was developed in order to investigate general environmental factors, eating behavior, nutritional knowledge, and the consumption frequency of snacks-containing trans fatty acid. A total of 312 middle school students were surveyed. The collection rate was 97% and ultimately 282 cases were analyzed. Anthropometric measurements, body composition data, and nutrient intakes were also collected. The consumption frequencies for snacks-containing trans-fatty acid were negatively correlated with food behavior scores (p〈0.01) however, pocket money and snack intake frequency per day were positively correlated with consumption frequency. Also, snack consumption frequency had some correlation with the subjects' anthropometric measurements and body composition data such as total body water (p〈0.01), body protein (p〈0.01), body minerals (p〈0.01), and skeletal muscle mass (p〈0.01). Finally, the consumption frequency of snacks-containing trans fatty acid was significantly correlated with calcium intake (p〈0.05), it also showed correlations with vitamin A, retinol, β-carotene, and folic acid intake, although statistical significance was not verified.

        The underwater sound transmission system(USTS) was experimentally made to monitor the cetacean's appearance by telemetry, and then its system was tested to evaluate its performance from July to October, 2007 at the Kimnyeong berth and the dolphin's breeding ground of Pacific Land in Jeju island, respectively. The results showed that the sweep sound in the trial experiment and the whistle sound of bottlenose dolphin(Tursiops truncatus) were favorably received by telemetry. Therefore, we could confirm the USTS is able to monitor the cetacean's appearance in real time without direct observation at sea within effective range of code division multiple access(CDMA) communication method.

        To find out the affection of the sampling techniques to the result of a faunistic study, we surveyed the insect fauna of the Chungbuk National University (four different sites) for a year, from spring to fall. For each site, four different collecting methods: light trap, net sweeping, pitfall trap, and window trap, were applied and the collecting was done every other week for a total of 16 times. A total of 14 orders and 672 species were collected. 501 species were collected by the light trap, which covers about 75% of the total number of species, turn out to be the most effective, while other methods could only cover 18% or less. On average, only about 30% of the species collected at a given time of collecting were re-collected at the next collecting, which means about 70% of the species collected from the first collecting remains not collected in the next collecting if you collect insects every other week. The result suggests that, in addition to applying diverse collecting methods, frequent sampling, or narrow sample window, is another very important factor for a good representation of species diversity in an insect faunistic study.

        This study was performed to investigate the effect of the health related factors on the preference and frequency of intake of coffee and traditional beverages among 280 university students (128 males and 152 females) who were residing in Incheon areas. The results were as follows; 1. Male students of over weight and obese were more than female students and female students of under weight were more than male students. Female students were interested in weight control and had an experience in weight control more than male students. 2. The group who was much interested in weight control preferred green tea, yuja tea and dunggulre tea. The group who was much interested in health when drink beverages preferred green tea, ginseng tea, dunggulre tea, vinegar drinks and water but didn’t prefer coffee. 3. The frequency of intake of green tea is high in the group who had an experience in weight control. And the frequency of intake of honey tea was high in the group who drank alcohol almost every day. Coffee intake was the highest among beverages in smokers and water intake was the highest among beverages in nonsmokers. In conclusion this study showed that as an interest in health is higher, the preference and frequency of intake of coffee was low whereas those who intake of traditional beverages was high in general.
