        This study was performed to improve the efficiency of guided bone regeneration by adapting the tissue-engineered bone regeneration approach. The PHBV-collagen nonofibrous membranes cultured with rat calvarial periosteum derived cells in osteogenic culture medium for 7 days were applied to 5 x 2mm size artificial rat tibial defects for 3weeks and evaluated its efficiency as an alternative cell engineered membrane for effective guided bone regeneration by routine histological observation. The defects covered with cell attached PHBV-collagen nanofibrous membrane complexes showed favorable bone repair compared to both membrane non-covered control and membrane only covered group without specific side effects. These findings suggest that the favorable guided bone generation can be achieved by adapting the tissue engineered bone regeneration approach using PHBV-Collagen nanofibrous membrane scaffold.

        The PHBV nonofibrous membrane fabricated by electron-spinning method for tissue engineered bone regeneration scaffold was evaulated in terms of cellular prolieration and cryopreservation efficiency. The rat calvarial periosteum derived primary cells were cultured with PHBV nanofibrous membranes and analyzed the cellular proliferation and differention fashion and cryopreservation potential by in vitro MTT assay as well as ALP staining and Alizarine red staining with or without cryopreservation for 2 weeks. The rat calvarial periosteum derived primary cells cultured with PHBV nonofibrous membrane showed favorable proliferation and alkaline phosphatase activity with numerous mineral nodule formation regardless of cryopreservation, even though its efficiency was slightly decreased in cryopreserved condition. These findings suggest that PHBV nanofibrous membrane can be applicable as an efficient cell engineered membrane for guided bone regeneration or scaffold for tissue engineered bone regeneration.

        This paper aims to introduce an overall game application as an effective tool for various corporation-related purposes. This work lies in the communication and sharing frameworks: Serious games, Advergames, Gamifications. We first discussed on the serious games, advergames, and gamification for both employee and customer based on previous literature review. Second, we synthesized the key features of game applications benefits that make them promising to be used for corporation purposes. All three of them, it will be efficient not only corporation (employee training & education, advertising & marketing) but also customer (information delivery capability, communication & feedback control etc). Moreover, various game-related factors are more effective means rather than antecedents of other media such as Internet and TV. Overall, game applications play a significant role in influencing the intention to corporation’s goals. Finally, implications of applications benefits for corporation purposes and future direction for research in this area are discussed.

        본 연구는 저관리형 옥상녹화에서 보수성을 높일 수 있는 식재지반을 조성하기 위해 친수성 중합체인 hydrophilic polymer의 효용성을 평가하고자 현장실험을 수행하였다. Hydrophilic polymer의 농도는 각각 인공배합토 100kg을 기준으로 0%(대조구), 1.0%, 2.5%, 5.0%, 10% 등 총 5가지로 구성하였다. 가로 1.0m, 세로 1.0m, 높이 0.3m로 자체 제작한 실험구에 2013년 5월 20일에 각각 10반복의 식물을 정식하였으며 식재기반 내 토양용적수분함량을 모니터링하였다. 또한 현재 이용되는 수종인 눈향나무, 황금줄사철나무 등의 목본류와 잠재종으로 가능성이 높은 통보리사초, 좀보리사초 등의 사초류를 중심으로 식물생육을 측정하였다. 토양의 hydrophilic polymer의 농도에 따른 토양용적수분 함량은 강수량과 상관없이 2.5%이상의 hydrophilic polymer 처리구에서 97%~98%로, 100%에 가까운 토양용적수분 함량을 보였다. 강우 후 27일 동안 토양용적수분함량이 대조구에서 50%~60%를 보인 반면, 1.0%의 hydrophilic polymer 처리구에서는 70%~80%로 약 20%가 증가되었다. 식물생육을 조사한 결과, 황금줄사철나무와 통보리사초는 2.5% 처리구에서 가장 생육이 좋았고, 눈향나무는 1.0% 처리구, 좀보리사초는 0%(대조구)에서 생육상태가 가장 양호하였다. hydrophilic polymer 1.0% 처리구와 2.5% 처리구에서는 모든 식물이 생존하였으나 5.0%와 10.0%의 처리구에서는 식재 후 3개월 이내에 모두 고사하였다. 이는 hydrophilic polymer 배합비는 수종별 특성에 따라 다르게 적용되어야 함을 보여준 결과라 할 수 있다.

        This study explored the effectiveness and second language (L2) writers' perceptions of process-oriented writing, using portfolio-basedinstruction in a secondary English class at general school settings. The participants were 110 high school students enrolled in a private independent school in Gyeonggi. They learned to produce a four-paragraph-English-essay based on the process-oriented writing methodology, keeping a portfolio note for the entire semester. The instructor was a bilingual teacher of English whose native language is Korean. The 17 weeks' records written in the portfolio note were analyzed to portray whether the approaches enhanced overall performance and understandings about essay-writing. Findings revealed that the participants were satisfied with this approach and improved their writing skills using portfolio-based- instruction. For the sake of implementing the new assessment appropriately at public school settings, further studies are suggested to develop how to enhance classroom environment in order to increase the degree of learner-satisfaction in the essay-writing classes.

        바다에 기름오염 사고가 발생하면 여러 가지 방제 방법 중 물리적 회수 방법을 우선적으로 사용하고 유처리제는 최후 수단으로 고려하는 경향이 있다. 유처리제는 수중으로 기름이 신속히 분산되도록 하여 해수면으로부터 제거하는 방법이다. 해수면으로부터 신속히 기름을 제거하는데 대한 유처리제의 효용성은 널리 증명되어 왔으나 아직도 대부분의 국가들은 해양환경에 미치는 독성을 우려하여 적극적인 사용을 하지 않고 있는 실정이다. 보고된 자료에 의하면 유처리제 사용 후 수중생물에 대한 독성은 발견되지 않았으며, 유처리제와 혼합된 기름이 기 름 그 자체보다 독성이 더 크게 나타나지 않았다. 멕시코만 기름유출 사고 시 미국 정부와 BP사는 최대한 해안에 기름이 도달하지 않는데 중 점을 두고 해수면뿐만 아니라 수중의 기름에 대해서도 유처리제를 사용하였다.

        본 연구에서는 국내의 시설 내 작물재배에 적합한 자동관수 기술을 개발하기 위한 첫 단계로 전기저항의 변화원리를 이용하는 워터마크 센서를 장착한 소형 컨트롤러를 작물재배에 활용하여 자동관수기술의 효용성을 구명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 비닐하우스 내에 다른 토성을 갖는 토양을 격리베드에 인공적으로 조성한 후 토마토를 정식하여 수분퍼텐셜을 -20kPa 수준으로 자동으로 조절하면서 재배하였다. 점적관수에 따른 토양 내 깊이별 수분변화는 Sentek 축전형 수분센서를 이용하여 측정하였다. 워터마크센서를 이용한 수분퍼텐셜 제어성능은 (-)20kPa 수준부근에서 유지되지 않고 반복적으로 0~(-)20kPa 대역에서 높은 변화 값을 나타내어 안정적이지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 물 공급은 관수시마다 약 50~60분 비교적 긴 시간동안 진행되어 수분공급이 과잉되는 문제가 나타났으며 건조시에도 수분퍼텐셜의 변화가 계단응답 반응의 형태로 변하는 불량한 측정해상도를 나타내었다. 이러한 문제는 워터마크센서의 토양과 전극 접촉형태가 다공컵식 수분장력계에 비해 수분값에 연속적으로 반응할 수 없는 구조이기 때문인 것으로 판단하였다. 자동관수에 따른 토양종류별 수분변화는 그 기울기가 토성별로 서로 달랐으며 양질사토의 경우 수분함량의 변화정도가 가장 높았다. 수분함량의 변화속도는 낮과 밤의 경우 시간에 따른 변화율이 달라서 변곡선의 형태를 나타내었다. 이러한 이유는 낮과 밤의 일교차와 태양광 유무에 의하여 수분증발량 차이가 발생하였기 때문인 것으로 판단하였다. 직물에서 20cm 떨어진 지점의 깊이별 수분함량은 작물에 인접한 위치와 비교하였을 때 세가지 토양 모두 관수에 의한 변화정도는 미미하여 직물에 인접한 곳만 수분공급이 효율적으로 이루어지는 것을 확인하였다. 추후 연구에서 양질사토 베드에서 관찰된 토마토 생육 불량 문제 개선과 관수멈춤 시간을 적용하여 물공급의 과잉 문제를 해결하는 보완실험이 요구되었다.

        본 연구에서는 한자를 기반으로 하는 지구과학 용어의 이해정도를 살펴보고 활 용방안을 제시하고자 한다. 기존의 연구에 의하면 한자는 지구과학의 개념을 이해 하는데 도움이 되지만, 한자에 대한 지식이 부족하면 지구과학의 개념을 파악하는 데 오히려 장애가 된다. 초등학교 3학년에서 6학년까지의 과학교과서에 게재된 지구과학 관련 용어의 70%에서 80%는 한자에서 유래되었다. 9학년에서 한자기 반 지구과학 용어의 이해정도는 한글과 한자를 함께 제시할 때 보다 효과적이다. 10학년에서 한자기반 지구과학용어는 한자의 뜻과 음을 자세히 설명할 때 이해정 도가 향상되었다. 대학의 자연과학 전공 교육에서는 한자기반의 용어가 고등학교 에 비해 급격히 증가한다. 따라서 새로운 지구과학의 용어를 완벽하게 이해하기 위해서는 한자에 대한 별도의 교육이 필요한 상황이다. 또한 한자는 대학교육에서 새로운 학술정보를 습득하는데 매우 유용하며, 외국어로 기술된 과학문서를 명확 히 번역하는데도 매우 효율적이다. 이 논문을 통해, 지구과학 용어를 효율적으로 이해하기 위한 새로운 교과서 표기방법을 제안한다. 즉, 교과서에서 한자기반 용 어에 대해서는 한자를 병기하고, 한자의 의미를 제공하는 형태이다. 또한 교과서한쪽에 사전식 용어 풀이를 제공한다면 보다 효과적일 것이다.

        The purpose of this study is investigation of understanding levels and utilities of the earth science educational terms written by Chinese characters. Kim and Koh (2003)'s analysis of the earth science concerned vocabularies in science textbooks for 3rd to 6th grades of elementary school. In the books, earth region vocabularies were derived from 70% to 80% words of Chinese, below 10% of pure Korean, and other languages. Jeong et al.(2007) analyzed 9th grade(middle school grade of the Korea) students' understanding about the earth science terms written by Chinese characters depending on their learning style and attitudes toward science. They selected the eight students, the students were judged middle level of science. Students were divided into four groups: verbal-high attitude toward science, verbal-low attitude toward science, visual-high attitude toward science, and visual-low attitude toward science learners. Researchers had three types of questionnaires including Korean character type, picture type, and Korean and Chinese characters type to how developing the students' understanding about the earth science terms written by Chinese characters. The results of data indicated that the 9th grades students' understanding showed no significant difference by their different learning style, and yet demonstrated higher level of understanding in Korean and Chinese characters type questionnaire rather than Korean characters type only or picture type. On the other hand, the level of students’ understanding both in Korean characters type and picture type was equal. In conclusion, it seems more effective learning earth science terms written by Chinese characters when they were provided with both Korean and Chinese characters.Jeong et al.(2007) analyzed 10th grade students’ understanding level about earth science terms written in Chinese characters according to learners’ characteristic. In older to investigate the responses followed their various characteristics, first of all, proper scientific terms were selected, and then corresponding questions about them were offered as subjects, which consisted of Korean characters type, picture type, and Korean and Chinese characters type. During paper test and interview, the questions were given to fifteen students from general high school. The results of the study are as follows; Students in formal operation level and field independency answered very well and also the terms of Chinese characters type and picture type improved the students' understanding and memorization. Generally, Chinese characters have more positive influence on their learning than negative. Therefore, in general, it seems that more effective to explain the sound and meaning of terms in detail. In addition to give learners enough time to draw a picture about each terms by themselves when scientific terms are delivered to students in Chinese characters in class.Lee et al,(2002) investigated that whether 11th grades students with more knowledge of Chinese Character get higher academic adaptability in inquiry activities using the concept and understanding level of earth science terms than the students with less knowledge of Chinese Character. They analyze which relationship exist between two groups. The students with more Chinese Character knowledge show high understanding level and high corrected answer rate in inquiry questions. However, the students with little knowledge also high corrected answer rate in inquiry question, but there is only a little difference on the level of concept understanding for earth science education is linearly connected from elementary school to high school. In a prior study, researchers reported that Chinese Character learning will help understanding concept better but the lack of knowledge about Chinese Character will not be obstacle to understand the concepts in earth science, futhermore to do inquiry activities using the concept. Under the college education, however, science terms written by Chinese characters in science major tend to compare with the highschool abruptly. In order to get a complete concepts of new science terms, learning of the Chinese characters is needed. In conclusion, Chinese Characters learning will help understand new knowledge in college education and is very efficient at translation of science literatures written by foreign language without confusion.

        The purpose of the study was to explore the reflective process of pre-service English teachers by analyzing critical incidents entered in their teaching journals during a fourweek student teaching practicum. Thirty-three student teachers were asked to report critical incidents in their journals once a week, especially focusing on „lesson breakdowns‟ or „events that deserve critical significance‟ during a lesson. 133 journal entries were collected and a total of 104 critical incidents were analyzed to see some aspect of secondary classroom teaching and the reflective processes that student teachers went through right after the incidents. From the content analysis, it was found that many critical incidents happened during the initial stage of lesson and were mostly caused by student teachers‟ lack of experiences in either time management or material preparation tailored to students‟ level. By describing and analyzing critical incidents, student teachers became more aware of their assumptions about language teaching and learning and tried to transfer knowledge into real practices. A survey administered after the practicum also revealed that self-observation of critical incidents in their own classroom helped them to generate powerful insights about teaching and to develop reflective teachers.

        The organotypic raft culture model has been shown to be a useful method for examining the effects of biochemical manipulation on various epithelial cell types, using in vitro conditions that simulate the in vivo environment of the tissue of origin. To investigate this method as a model for photodynamic therapy (PDT), we cultures the oral squamous carcinoma cell line YD-10B on fibroblast-containing collagen gels at the air-liquid interface and assessed the efficacy of PDT using a photosensitiser 5-ALA-hexenyl ester. PDT effect on YD-10B organotypic raft cultures after twenty- four hours was determined. The number of residual cells was significantly reduced in comparison to control at all four different conditions. PCNA immunostaining and TUNEL assay revealed that PDT inhibited cell proliferation and increased apoptosis. These findings suggest that the organotypic raft culture model provides an effective and rapid laboratory method of investigating strategies for PDT on oral precancerous lesions and squamous cell carcinomas

        In this study, deodorizing efficiency of three deodorant products (1) A = ClO₂ Gel + charcoal, (2) B=Charcoal Gel, and (3) C = Gel (for Kimchi)) was investigated. For these experiments, a total of 15 odorants (4 reduced sulfur compounds, 2 volatile organic compounds, 7 carbonyl compounds, and 2 nitrogenous compounds) were investigated for a short term period. For the comparative analysis, 2 food types with strong odor properties (Kimchi and Fish) were selected and investigated. The analytical results were compared with respect to the blank sample (without deodorants) after normalization. Hence, if normalized concentration values are lower than unity one can assume that sample has positive deodorizing efficiency. The results of deodorant experiments indicate that the effects of the most common deodorant products are not effective enough to remove offensive odorants. However, the selection of deodorant products appears to be important, as they have very specific deodorizing efficiencies for certain compounds.

There have been some former studies which have been misunderstood the employment of disabled due to the declining employment of the disabled and prejudice to the disabled based on biased perspective and public opinion. This study have analyzed the employment conditions of the ordinary workers and disabled workers out of those prejudices and biased opinions. Wage, economic activity ratio, age, educational background and industry those 5 parameters are brought for analyzing the two comparison group. Each parameter have compared based on the statistical data of ordinary workers and disabled workers for past 7 years. Weight between each parameter have been drawn by collecting the experts' opinion using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process), and utility of employment of two comparison groups have been estimated through progress inclination of each parameter. Through the estimated outcome, present condition and controversial issues and way of improvement of domestic employment of ordinary workers and the disabled is mentioned.
