        Due to its capacity to manufacture low-cost 3D-printed structures, 3D-printing technology offers a unique opportunity for the fast epitome of various applications. Using a typical fused deposition modeling 3D printer along with a Discovery extruder, a graphene-ink can be 3D printed to produce an interdigitated electrode (IDE) arrangement. This work fabricated a 3D-printed planar supercapacitor from pristine graphene-ink without using high-temperature processing or functional additives. The printable ink (89%) is formulated from pristine graphene without the addition of any functional additives. The symmetric flexible supercapacitor is demonstrated with an excellent specific capacitance of 137.50 F/g at 0.5 A/g and an energy density of 12.23 Wh/kg. The obtained gravimetric energy density beats reported earlier carbon-based supercapacitors that are 3D or inkjet printed. The flexibility and robustness of 3D-printed devices are achieved up to 150° folding angles. This work demonstrates an efficient and easy method for fabricating practical energy storage devices featuring a customizable shape and excellent flexibility.

        The aim of this study was to develop Jiangxi Nuo masks using 3D digital fashion design technology and suggest various ways to utilize traditional culture based on the characteristics of Nuo masks, a traditional Chinese artifact of intangible cultural significance. The researchers conducted a literature review to gather information about Nuo culture and masks that could represent Jiangxi. Features of the masks were analyzed and classified. The result are as follows. First, the symbolic characteristics of Jiangxi’s Nuo masks can be divided into those based on their origin and history, the user’s social status, and the notions of primitive beliefs of the chosen people, such as naturism and totemism. Second, Nuo masks’ splendid decorations convey meanings such as luck, the bixie, longevity, wealth, and peace in the family. Third, playfulness in mask-making is about dismantling the original form of the mask, re-creating it through application. Fourth, the masks express primitiveness mostly by conserving the wood’s original color or material. The initial masks carved to represent images of figures aptly deliver the primitive forms and images of Nuo culture. In this study, Nuo masks were developed and produced using the 3D digital technology CLO 3D by adopting the expressive characteristics and applying design methods such as asymmetricity, exaggeration, and modification. The results of this study demonstrate the possibility of creating diverse as well as economical designs through the reduction of production.

        The purpose of this study was to develop a 3D mesh-type impact protection pad with excellent motion adaptability and functionality by applying 3D printing technology. The hexagonal 3D mesh, which constitutes the basic structure of the pad, comprises two types: small and large. The bridge connecting the basic units was designed as the I-type, V-type, IV-type, and VV-type. After evaluating the characteristics of the bridge, it was found that the V-type bridge had the highest flexibility and tensile elongation. The hip joint pad and knee pad were completed by combining the hexagonal 3D mesh structure with the optimal bridge design. The impact protection pad was printed using a fused deposition modeling-type 3D printer with a filament made of thermoplastic polyurethane material, and the protection pad’s performance was evaluated. When an impact force of approximately 6,500N was applied to the pad, the force attenuation percentage was 78%, and when an impact force of approximately 8,000N was applied, the force attenuation percentage was 75%. Through these results, it was confirmed that the 3D-printed impact protection pad with a hexagonal 3D mesh structure connected by a V-shaped bridge developed in this study can adapt to changes in the body surface according to movement and provides excellent impact protection performance.

        Aluminum alloys are extensively employed in several industries, such as automobile, aerospace, and architecture, owing to their high specific strength and electrical and thermal conductivities. However, to meet the rising industrial demands, aluminum alloys must be designed with both excellent mechanical and thermal properties. Computer-aided alloy design is emerging as a technique for developing novel alloys to overcome these trade-off properties. Thus, the development of a new experimental method for designing alloys with high-throughput confirmation is gaining focus. A new approach that rapidly manufactures aluminum alloys with different compositions is required in the alloy design process. This study proposes a combined approach to rapidly investigate the relationship between the microstructure and properties of aluminum alloys using a direct energy deposition system with a dual-nozzle metal 3D printing process. Two types of aluminum alloy powders (Al-4.99Si-1.05Cu-0.47Mg and Al-7Mg) are employed for the 3D printing-based combined method. Nine types of Al-Si-Cu-Mg alloys are manufactured using the combined method, and the relationship between their microstructures and properties is examined.

        본 연구에서는 3D 프린팅 FDM 방식의 적층 방향에 따라 기계적 물성이 달라지는 이방성 특성을 확인하고 이를 이용하여 위상 최 적설계를 수행하였다. 벤치마크 문제인 자동차 현가장치 부품 중 하나인 로어 컨트롤 암에 대하여 밀도법 기반 위상 최적설계를 수행 하였으며, 외부 하중과 이방성 특성에 따라 위상 최적결과가 다르게 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 이를 이용하여 최적화된 모델에 대하 여 3D 프린터로 적층 방향을 달리하여 2가지 시험품을 제작하였으며 인장시험을 수행하였다. 시험시 3D 비접촉 변형률 측정기를 이 용하여 변형률을 구하였으며 이를 CAE 응답해석으로 얻은 변형률과 비교한 결과가 정량 및 정성적으로 일치하는 것을 확인하였다. 3D 프린팅 적층 방향을 고려한 위상 최적모델의 인장 실험 결과를 통해 해당 최적설계 방법론의 유효성을 검증하였다.

        목적: Gullstrand 모형안에서 색수차를 이론적으로 산출하였으며, 3D 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였고, 두 결과를 서로 비교하고자 했다. 방법 : 이론적 색수차는 Mathematica 12.3.1(Wolfram Research, USA)를 통해 산출하였으며, Gullstrand 모형안의 3D 구현은 Ansys SPEOS Ver. 2012(ANSYS Inc, USA)를 이용하였고, 가시광선 영역의 파장에서 노 란색( =586.700  ), 파란색( =486.100  ) 및 빨간색( =656.300  ) 광선의 종색수차와 횡색수차를 측정하였다. 결과 : 이론적 및 모의적인 방법 모두에서 입사광선의 높이가 증가하고, 파장이 짧아질수록 모형안을 통과한 광선의 초점거리는 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 모형안의 중심부에서 주변부로 갈수록 종색수차는 미세하게 감소하 였으나, 횡색수차는 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 : 이론적 및 모의적인 방법으로 확인한 색수차는 거의 유사한 추의를 보였으나, 매우 미세한 차이가 발견 되었다. 색수차의 다양한 특성을 파악하기 위해서는 모형안에서 조절이나 굴절이상과 같은 조건의 정밀한 모델링 이 반영된 후속 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

        PURPOSES : The objective of this study is to develop an optimal placement of the overturning prevention device based on a 3D object model during the development of the girder-type overturning prevention device for the remote control construction of bridges METHODS : Based on existing construction methods and literature research, a detailed design model of a phase-optimized conduction prevention device is presented. The 3D-object model data, optimal placement, and an operating range of the equipment developed for the remote control construction of bridge girders were considered. RESULTS : The shape of the overturning prevention device was selected taking into account the dimensions and operating range of numerous devices developed for the remote control construction of the bridge. In particular, the detachable device was chosen to allow a trouble-free construction considering the spacing between the pier cap of the bridge and the girders. The overturning prevention device presented based on this 3D object model will be manufactured as a mock-up and used for a demonstration project on remote control bridge construction. CONCLUSIONS : This will enable easy and economical construction as this development will support remote control construction of bridge girders to avoid accidents such as workers falling from high places like piers.

        Considering the characteristics of nuclear power plants in order to decommission nuclear power plants safely and economically, this thesis provides a methodology for optimizing the technology for developing decommissioning characteristic evaluation system using simulation technology for core facilities of the plants based on 3D that reflects various factors. The results of pollution assessment and radiation assessment for the Kori Unit 1 reactor building, auxiliary building, and each major device are displayed in 3D drawings and viewer, and the radiation dose rate and radiation assessment results are displayed separately for each major location. Furthermore, this D/B development method which includes inserting result values of characteristic evaluation and the quantity of waste is one of the main technology to optimize the system which enables users to select decommissioning processes and predict the quantity of waste. (Refer to the presented 3D models of the containment building, D/B, tag search module, the scale calculation result of models after visualizing the result value of 3D based decommissioning characteristic evaluation) The methodology for optimizing decommissioning characteristic evaluation result value DB development system using 3D models of the first major nuclear power plant allows the display of decommissioning characteristic values in virtual reality, the selection of decommissioning process, the establishment of the decommissioning procedure. Hence, this study is expected to provide reliable guidelines for managing a decommission business efficiently in the near future and can be used in the related field if needed.

        In this experiment, the error according to the measurement method was analyzed for the length, angle, radius of curvature, and diameter of the measurement system analysis using a profile projector device used in the field. One-way analysis was performed on each data tested 30 times using a statistical technique. Through the experiment, it was found that an error occurred in each data when measuring the angle according to the measurement method, and the null hypothesis that no error occurred when measuring the length, inside dia and radius was established.
