행복은 개인들이 추구하는 삶의 가장 중요한 목적이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 행복 증진을 위해서 개인들이 스스로 자신의 웰니스를 점검하고 관리하는 것이 필요하다고 보고, 셀프 라이프코칭 앱의 웰니스 증진 효과에 대한 예비 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해, 총 36명의 참여자를 실험집단(1·2)과 통제집단에 무선배정하고, 실험집단에는 연구용 앱을 활용해 4주간 셀프 라이프코칭을 수행하도록 하였다. 실험처치 중 주간 피드백을 실험집단1에는 제공하 고, 실험집단2에는 제공하지 않았다. 종속변인으로 노동자를 위한 웰니스 지수(WIW)와 한국형 웰니스 척도(KWS) 를 사용하였다. 실험결과, 사전, 사후, 추후의 시점과 집단 간의 상호작용 효과는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았으나, 효과의 경향성을 확인하였다. 주간 피드백 유무에 따른 실험처치 효과 차이는 확인되지 않았다. 시간에 따른 웰니스 증진 효과가 통계적으로 유의미했으며, 실험처치가 웰니스에 미치는 효과가 선형적임을 확인하였다. 참여의견 조사 결과, 참여자의 84.2%가 이번 활동이 도움이 된다고 하였으며, 78.9%가 상용화된 앱이 있다면 1주 또는 2주에 한번 사용하겠다고 응답하였다. 본 연구는 누구나 스스로 자신의 웰니스 증진에 활용할 수 있는 방법론을 제시하였으며, 그 효과를 일정 부분 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

In the phonosemantic books listed in Jing Dian Shi Wen (經典釋文), Chunqiu Zuoshi Yin (春秋左氏音) authored by Fu Qian during the late Eastern Han dynasty is the earliest one, marking it as the first work in Chinese phonosemantics studies. From that point, the study of Chinese Phonosemantics has spanned over two millennia. In 721 AD, during Kaiyuan ninth year of Tang Dynasty, Yuan Xingchong presented the Kaiyuan Qunshu Sibu Lu (開元群書四部録) in 200 volumes. It established the “Exegesis of the Classics” category, which included Jing Dian Shi Wen (經典釋文), altering the dependent relationship of phonosemantic books to the classics. It also introduced the “Interpretation of Ancient Texts” category for exegetical books, and the “Traditional Chinese Linguistics” category exclusively for books on Chinese characters and phonology books, subtly forming a structure divided into character, phonology, exegesis, and phonosemantics, which is a significant event in the history of Chinese phonosemantics studies. In Year 1041, during the first year of the Qingli reign of Emperor Renzong of Northern Song Dynasty, Ouyang Xiu compiled the state bibliography Chong Wen Zong Mu (崇文總目) and moved Jing Dian Shi Wen (經典釋文) from the “Exegesis of the Classics” category to the “Traditional Chinese Linguistics” category. Works like You Mao’s Sui Chu Tang Shu Mu (遂初堂 書目), Chao Gongwu’s Jun Zhai Du Shu Zhi (郡齋讀書志), and Chen Kui’s Zhong Xing Guange Shu Mu (中興館閣書目) followed this arrangement, affirming the Chinese linguistic attributes of phonosemantic books, having profound and far-reaching implications. During the Qing Dynasty, Xie Qikun’s Xiao Xue Kao (小學考) established “Phonosemantics” as a distinct category, encompassing various phonosemantic books from the Han and Wei dynasties onward, without restricting them to the type of Jing Dian Shi Wen (經典釋文). This positioned phonosemantics alongside exegesis, character, and phonology as one of the four major branches of traditional Chinese linguistics, solidifying its academic status. In addition to Xiao Xue Kao (小學 考), other significant works of the Qing dynasty, such as Lu Wenchao’s Jing Dian Shi Wen Kao Zheng (經典釋文考證), Wu Chengshi’s Annotations on Prologue of Jing Ji Jiu Yin (經籍舊音序録疏證), Prologue of Jing Ji Jiu Yin (經籍舊音序録), Differentiation of Jing Ji Jiu Yin (經籍舊音辨證), Huang Zhuo’s Collation on Jing Dian Shi Wen (經典釋文匯校), and Hong Liangji’s Han Wei Yin (漢魏音), have become vital works in the disciplinary history of Chinese Phonosemantics. Entering the 21st century, the research in Chinese phonosemantics studies has seen expansive and deeper developments, particularly in the studies of Tang and Five Dynasties’ Buddhist Scriptures phonosemantics and correspondence of sound and meaning. The former was a weak area in earlier Chinese phonosemantics research, while the latter addresses the core issues of the field. Seizing this opportunity, Chinese scholars formally proposed the disciplinary concept and objectives of “Chinese Phonosemantics”, leading the establishment and in-depth exploration of its theories, materials, and research methods, creating an unprecedented surge of interest in the field.

본 연구는 전원주택단지를 대상으로 한 경관영향평가에서 진행하고 있는 각 단계별 계획항목과 내용 등에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 체계적인 경관영향평가 수립을 위한 기초자료를 제시하는데 주안점을 두 었다. 각 평가항목 별 중요도는 전문가 설문을 바탕으로 수행하였으며, 구체적인 분석방법으로는 기술 통계분석, 요인분석, MCB분석 등의 통계분석방법이 사용되었다. 분석결과 평가항목의 중요도 평균은 5.73(7)으로 높게 나타났으나 ‘이용자 안전을 고려한 가로시설물 시설계획’의 중요도가 6.38(7)로 가장 높게 나타난 것에 비해 문헌분석 출현빈도는 8%로 나타나 그 중요도에 비해 기존 경관영향평가에 활용 된 평가항목은 미흡했던 것으로 분석되었다. 평가항목은 33개의 평가항목이 7개의 평가항목 군과 3개 의 경관영역에 유형화되어 평가항목 리스트로 구성되었다. 평가항목 군별 중요도 분석결과 모두 5점 이상으로 높게 나타났으며, 그 중 색채 군에서 6.04로 가장 높게 나타났다. 본 연구는 문헌분석으로 도출 된 평가항목이 전문가 설문 분석결과 대부분 중요도가 5점대 이상으로 높게 나타나 경관영향평가 평가 항목 리스트에 적용함에 무리가 없을 것으로 판단된다.

The purpose of this study is to experimentally analyze the seismic performance of column with RSB (Replaceable Steel Brace), a steel brace system with slot length as a variable. To evaluate the seismic performance of the RSB, three specimens were manufactured and subjected to cyclic loading tests. The length of the sliding slots were considered to be 5 mm and 10mm to enable the brace to resist the load from the initiation of flexural crack and shear crack. As a result of the test, the specimen reinforced with the RSB showed improved maximun load and effective stiffness, and energy dissipation capacity compared to the non-reinforced specimens. The specimens with 5mm sliding slot showed little difference in test result compared to the specimen with a 10mm sliding slot, indicating that the length of sliding slot has little influence on the effectiveness of RSB.

The Syrian crisis has been persisting for more than eleven years, but shows no signs of resolution or end yet. Various reports from the United Nations and other reputable organizations have extensively documented a multitude of atrocities perpetrated by all factions involved in the conflict. This article examines the Syrian crisis from a perspective of international law. The author analyses the legal justifications put forward by the parties involved in the conflict, including humanitarian intervention, the responsibility to protect, etc. This research paper employs an analytical and descriptive research methodology. The finding concludes that the Syrian Civil War is not likely to be over for the foreseeable future in spite of many efforts under international law. The author also finds that there have been numerous violations of international law by both sides in the conflict related to human rights and humanitarian protection.

As a treaty obligation and customary international law, universal jurisdiction is crucial in the global fight against impunity. While Western countries have been at the forefront, actively expanding and developing universal jurisdiction, East Asian countries have adopted a more conservative approach, emphasizing state sovereignty. This article begins by exploring the theoretical construction, legal frameworks, and state practices of East Asian countries (China, Korea, and Japan) when exercising universal jurisdiction, highlighting the typical differences between these countries and Western countries. It is then observed that the passive universal jurisdiction system in East Asia is deficient in defending state interests or counteracting other countries’ inappropriate extraterritorial jurisdiction. Accordingly, this article advocates a more proactive approach to the application of universal jurisdiction in East Asian countries. By doing so, while assuming responsibility to prevent impunity, the state can use universal jurisdiction as a legitimate countermeasure and reprisal in reciprocal international relations.

AI-driven technology is becoming an integral part of our daily lives, spanning from smart home devices to social media platforms. However, the uneven distribution of AI technologies could result in a scenario where certain groups exert dominance over the direction of AI development. The consequences of inequality in AI evolution could further exacerbate existing economic gaps by concentrating benefits among a privileged few with access to advanced AI technologies. To address this question the, international communities should come forward and regulate the just development of AI with new and existing international laws. Although the existing international legal frameworks can be adapted to address AI-specific issues without the need for entirely new laws, however, the novel challenges presented by AI require unique and new international laws. Issues such as data sovereignty, data privacy, and data localization are areas where international laws and agreements need to evolve to accommodate the just development of AI.

Velvet antler is widely used as a traditional medicine, and numerous studies have demonstrated its tremendous nutritional and medicinal values including immunity-enhancing effects. This study aimed to investigate different deer velvet extracts (Sample 1: raw extract, Sample 2: dried extract, and Sample 3: freeze-dried extract) for proximate composition, uronic acid, sulfated glycosaminoglycan, sialic acid, collagen levels, and chemical components using ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-light mass spectrometry. In addition, we evaluated the cytotoxic effect of the deer velvet extracts on BV2 microglia, HT22 hippocampal cells, HaCaT keratinocytes, and RAW264.7 macrophages using the cell viability MTT assay. Furthermore, we evaluated acute toxicity of the deer velvet extracts at different doses (0, 500, 1000, and 2000 mg/kg) administered orally to both male and female ICR mice for 14 d (five mice per group). After treatment, we evaluated general toxicity, survival rate, body weight changes, mortality, clinical signs, and necropsy findings in the experimental mice based on OECD guidelines. The results suggested that in vitro treatment with the evaluated extracts had no cytotoxic effect in HaCaT keratinocytes cells, whereas Sample-2 had a cytotoxic effect at 500 and 1000 μg/mL on HT22 hippocampal cells and RAW264.7 macrophages. Sample 3 was also cytotoxic at concentrations of 500 and 1000 μg/mL to RAW264.7 and BV2 microglial cells. However, the mice treated in vivo with the velvet extracts at doses of 500–2000 mg/kg BW showed no clinical signs, mortality, or necropsy findings, indicating that the LD50 is higher than this dosage. These findings indicate that there were no toxicological abnormalities connected with the deer velvet extract treatment in mice. However, further human and animal studies are needed before sufficient safety information is available to justify its use in humans.

지구 온난화로 인한 기후변화는 이미 세계 곳곳에서 확인할 수 있으며, 특히 해수면상승으로 인하여 소도서 개발도상국은 국가의 존립과 국민의 생존에 위협을 받고 있다. 국제사회는 이를 해결하기 위하여 노력하고 있으나, 많은 어려 움이 산재해 있는 것 또한 사실이다. 소도서 개발도상국들은 2022년 국제해양법재판소에 기후변화와 해수면상승 에 대한 유엔해양법협약 당사국의 의무에 대하여 권고적 의견을 요청하였다. 비록 권고적 의견이 구속력을 가지고 있지 않으나, 법적 효력이 전혀 없다고는 할 수는 없을 것이다. 만약 재판소가 권고적 의견을 제시할 경우, 우리나라를 포함한 협약 당사국에게 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 국제해양 법재판소의 재판관할권 문제는 우리에게도 중요한 문제이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 권고적 의견요청에 대한 국제해양법재판소의 재판관할 권에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 국제사회 및 소도서 개발도상국 의 노력과 소도서국위원회의 권고적 의견요청 과정에 대해 살펴보고, 동 사건 에 서면 진술서를 제출한 유엔해양법협약의 당사국 및 관련 국제기구들의 서면 진술서를 분석하였다. 마지막으로 2013년 북서아프리카 소지역수산위원회 (SRFC)의 권고적 의견요청 사건을 분석하고, 이를 통해 재판소의 재판관할권 존부에 대해 생각해 보았다.

Purpose: To determine whether artificial -intelligence quarantine robots can positively contribute to environmental management in medical institutions. We conducted in-depth interviews to understand the experiences of hospitalized patients receiving environmental management from such robots. Methods: Data were collected during March 20~May 20, 2023. individual in-depth interviews were conducted with 15 hospitalized patients, who could provide specific details of their experience of receiving environmental management from a quarantine robot. Results: Qualitative content analysis identified four themes, including “First encounter with an amazing and new quarantine robot,” “Efficiently performs non-face-to-face quarantine work in hospitals,” “Problems with quarantine robots,” and “Recommendations for improving the functionality of quarantine robots in medical institutions so quarantine robots and humans can coexist.” Conclusion: Currently, quarantine robots have limited functionality, and additional research is needed to identify various other functions in consideration of future infectious disease situations and the level of quarantine appropriate in a hospital.

본 연구는 우리나라에서 정부 R&D 지원이 기업의 R&D 투자에 미치는 영향에 대해 실증적으로 분석한다. 이를 위해 2012년부터 코로나 직전인 2019년까지 8년 간 『연구 개발활동조사』와 『국가연구개발사업 조사·분석』 그리고 기업 재무정보를 제공하는 『KIS-Value』를 연계하여 패널 자료를 구축하고, 정부 R&D 지원을 받은 기업의 R&D 투자에 미치는 영향을 성향점수매칭법(PSM)과 패널 이중차분법(DID)을 사용하여 추정한다. PSM-패널DID 분석 결과 정부 R&D 지원을 받은 기업은 그렇지 않은 기업과 비교하여 유의한 수준에서 R&D 투자를 확대하는 것으로 확인되었다. 세부 집단별로 살펴보면 정부 R&D 지원 횟수가 커질수록 기업의 R&D 투자 확대 효과는 더 커지며, 정부 R&D 지원금 규모가 일정 수준 이상인 경우에만 기업의 R&D 투자 확대 효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 우리나라에서 기업에 대한 정부 R&D 지원은 민간 R&D 투자의 시장실패를 보완하는 본연의 역할을 하고 있으며, 실질적인 정책 효과를 내기 위해서는 중장기적인 관점에서 일정 규모 이상의 지원이 뒷받침되어야 한다는 것을 시사한다.

본 연구는 예술성과 대중성을 모두 갖고 있는 뮤지션인 더 위켄드의 작품분석을 통한 음악적 특징을 알아보기 위해 시작되었다. 그리하여 더 위켄드의 음악 중 빌보드 Hot 100 차트에서 1위를 달성하였던 작품 5곡을 선정하여 연구해 보았다. <Can’t Feel My Face>, <The Hills>, <Starboy>, <Blinding Lights>, <Save Your Tears> 총 5곡을 모두 동일한 방식으로 분석하였고 결론을 도출하 였다. 첫째, 코드 진행 측면에서 바라봤을 때 반복적이다. 대부분 4개의 코드 진행이 곡의 초반부 터 계속해서 반복되어 다양한 테마를 취하기보단 일관된 테마를 유지하였다. 일관된 테마를 갖는 곡은 청자가 음악에 쉽게 익숙해지도록 하는 이점이 있다. 둘째, 리듬 측면에서 바라봤을 때 음악 전체적으로 통일된 리듬감을 갖는다. 통일된 리듬감이 주는 이점은 청자가 곡의 리듬을 빠르게 익힐 수 있다. 셋째, 장르 및 편곡적인 측면에서 바라봤을 때 레트로한 요소가 많이 활용되었다. 80년대 유행했던 신스팝 장르 및 그 당시 사용되었던 FM 신시사이저의 사운드가 적극적으로 사용 되었다. 더불어 과거의 유행하던 사운드나 요소를 단순히 사용하는 데 그치지 않고 현시대의 유행 하는 음악에 잘 녹여내는 모습도 보여주었다.
