The purpose of this study is to suggest structural model and analyze design factors for the development of small greenhouse standardization model. The average dimensions of small greenhouse desired by urban farmers were 3.3m in width, 1.9m in eaves height, 2.7m in ridge height, 5.7m in length. The cladding materials for small greenhouse were preferred to glass, PC board and plastic film, framework to aluminum alloy and steel, and heating method in electrical energy. In addition, it was analyzed that small greenhouses need to develop structural model by dividing them into entry-level type and high-level type. The roof type that was used for entry-level type was arch shape, framework was steel pipe, cladding material was plastic film. On the other hand, high-level type was used in even span or dutch light type, framework with square hollow steel, cladding materials with glass or PC board. In consideration of these findings and practicality, this study developed four types of small greenhouses. The width, eaves height, ridges height, and length of the small greenhouses of even span type, which were covered with 5mm thick glass and 6mm thick PC board were 3m, 2.2m, 2.9m, and 6m, respectively. The small greenhouse of dutch light type covered with 5mm thick glass was designed with 3.8m in with, 2.2m in eaves height, 2.9m in ridges height, and 6m in length. The width, eaves height, ridges height, and length of the arch shape small greenhouse covered with a 0.15mm PO film were 3m, 1.5m, 2.8m, and 6m, respectively.

In the present day context of changing information needs of the farmers and diversified production systems there is an urgent need to look for the effective extension support system for the small and marginal farmers in the developing countries like India. The rapid developments in the collection and analysis of field data by using the spatial technologies like GPS&GIS were made available for the extension functionaries and clientele for the diversified information needs. This article describes the GIS and GPS based decision support system in precision agriculture for the resource poor farmers. Precision farming techniques are employed to increase yield, reduce production costs, and minimize negative impacts to the environment. The parameters those can affect the crop yields, anomalous factors and variations in management practices can be evaluated through this GPS and GIS based applications. The spatial visualisation capabilities of GIS technology interfaced with a relational database provide an effective method for analysing and displaying the impacts of Extension education and outreach projects for small and marginal farmers in precision agriculture. This approach mainly benefits from the emergence and convergence of several technologies, including the Global Positioning System (GPS), geographic information system (GIS), miniaturised computer components, automatic control, in-field and remote sensing, mobile computing, advanced information processing, and telecommunications. The PPP convergence of person (farmer), project (the operational field) and pixel (the digital images related to the field and the crop grown in the field) will better be addressed by this decision support model. So the convergence and emergence of such information will further pave the way for categorisation and grouping of the production systems for the better extension delivery. In a big country like India where the farmers and holdings are many in number and diversified categorically such grouping is inevitable and also economical. With this premise an attempt has been made to develop a precision farming model suitable for the developing countries like India.

The purpose of this study was to examine the intention of consumer acceptance of technology in agricultural production by applying the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) to smart farm. In particular, this study analyzed the intention to accept the technology of agricultural students, farmers, start-up farmers, returning farmers, and returnees in the general manufacturing industry and high-tech industries, and in agricultural sectors corresponding to primary industries. The results showed that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, IT development level, and reliability had a significant influence on the intention to use smart farm technology. However, effort expectancy and price value were rejected because no significant impact on use intention was tested. In addition, the influences of the variables showing their influence were reliability (β=.569) > IT development level (β=.252) > social influence (β=.235) > performance expectancy (β=.182) > facilitating conditions (β=.134).

This study was in line with consecutive growth of urban agriculture implemented to provide a functional vegetable garden model for urban vegetable gardeners. It targeted the users who actually raise functional vegetable gardens, analyzed the flaws for correction in many ways including a type of products, quantity, ratio, and the like and existing problems. It is found out from Utilization that first is the highest ranking with no experience of growing vegetable garden education while growth education helping vegetable garden activity takes the half. Saying yes to the participation in the growth education following the process ranked the highest. In addition when planting, in regards to earning information about plantation timing and measure, they responded that they directly determine those by themselves. Second, the type of plant that they are mainly supposed to produce in family gardening was vegetables. Many say that it is easy to produce, easy to get information. In the fall, Kimchi and vegetables ranked the highest, the reason for functional vegetable gardeners to participate in planting family garden is an interest in a variety of producing crops. Third, the current amount included is proper for flower・herb plants in functional vegetable garden model while the ratio of crops vegetables60.5 : medical21.2 : flower・herbs18.3 in vegetable garden model is responded moderate.

The green craze has hit all the world lately. The green revolution which means immense changes for sustainable development under the new environment-economy system is foretelling that we should have new angle to the environment and economy. This paper is about the development of the model and indicators for construction of ECO(Energy Circulating Organic)-Village which is the green growth option of local community. This model is composed of three concepts - SPDC (about procedural methodology of Model), Virtuous Circle (about functional relationships of three requisites), Network (about spatial relationships between communities) - and evaluation indicators. Environment, tourism, industry (Energy & Organic Agriculture) are set as the three requisites for green growth of local community. Nations of the world plunge into the green war which is silent, general, sweeping changes. We can not win this war with the existing thinking system and policy. We need revolutionary changes reconsidering of environmental value and sustainable development strategy of the region. Each of us should go through the changes and this work would be the one among those efforts.
